I am going to start this review off my saying how truly hurt I am that I have to write this. I started going to bombshell extensions about a year ago, and switched from the tape in extensions to the microweft method that they offered. I though all was going well until coming to a different salon to have my colour done today. The purpose of me coming to a different salon in the first place was that they were unreachable for several weeks, and upon finally getting a response they were so unorganized that they couldn't even figure out who I was. I was a client at Bombshell for a year. The amount of bald spots, sores, and hair loss I have is unfathomable. Had someone told me 6 months ago that the extensions were causing so much damage I would have stopped - although I sense that is why they didn't tell me, they only care about money. On top of never having my hair washed between new extension installs, they didn't even bother to remove the old beads - they were adding new beads below the old ones to push the extensions up. The beads in my hair varied in colour from beige, black, and brown. They couldn't even use one colour. My hair is extremely fine as is, and I only wish that someone had been upfront with me about the damage it was causing. Had this method been done in a sanitary and appropriate method without short cuts, I feel I may not have had as much damage as I do. They only have one staff member now, and had to shut down their large salon so I do feel as though they have bitten off more than they can chew, causing corners to be cut. If you are in this industry, and industry that is supposed to be about making people feel good, you need to do things the right way. This includes but is not limited to washing hair between installs, using the same colour beads, cutting out the old beads, alternating placement to avoid balding/extreme tension on the hair, etc. Please reconsider the industry you are in so this does not happen to anyone else any longer.

She listens to what you say, gives great tips and ideas. And is the sweetest person ever. I often love my cut the minute I leave, but will hate it when I try to recreate the pro look at home. She gave me the steps on how to get it done. I haven't had someone help me so much before. I am not the kind of human who does much with their hair, mostly for lack of ability. I has been a month since I was there and not once have I had any regrets. The salon is easy to get too from 156 street. There is ample parking. Friendly staff all around. First, he told me that the stylist that did my hair for my first visit was no longer with them due to the quality of her work. I also found out that I never received their customary follow up call, even though it had been marked down that I had. To get me to give them another go, and to restore my confidence in the salon, he offered a cut and style on the house. I already had a cut and style booked for that weekend, as I was going to a wedding, but I assured him I would get in touch for anything I needed in the future. Lo and behold, the appointment I had fell through, and not only did he manage to squeeze me in on short notice, he came in early to make sure he could help me out. Aside from going above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my salon experience, I am in love with my cut. Roshan listened to me and made suggestions, and I can honestly say I haven't been this happy with my hair in years. He actually took the time to explain what he saw as problem areas in my hair and talked about what he was going to do to fix the issues. I got many complements on my hair, and that hasn't happened since my wedding.
