My favourite Escape Room!…read more I haven't done many Escape Rooms but Looking Glass Adventures exceeded my expectations. We were a party of 5 and chose to do the "It Came From the Attic!" which is 1hr long. We called and made a same-day reservation for 10:30pm. Even though we were one of the last groups of the night, the staff were very kind, patient, and lively. Once you step inside the main entrance the decor and ambience is very unique and matches the Escape Room vibes. For the escape room itself, the props, music, lighting, and even the scent was very cool and unique. I appreciate how you could use the telephone inside the escape room to ask for hints when you're stuck or stumped. I do plan on coming back and trying out their other escape rooms.

Upon walking in, we were greeted by Will, whom helped us with every aspect of the party planning. He was very helpful and easygoing; such a joy to deal with! On the day of the party, we were able to come in earlier and decorate, while the children played the game. During the game, we had difficulty in solving the puzzles therefore, Will and Fahed came in to assist us without hesitation. They were very helpful with all of the guests in the game room, and took the time to explain everything very well. Overall, this venue was an excellent choice! Will and Fahed went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, while giving us the time to complete the game accurately, and have fun! The game was difficult yet engaging; and the price was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a fun-filled event with excellent service!

We completed the Blind Tiger escape room as that was only room which accommodated 12 people. Each time we were stuck, the staff assisted. That particular escape room was immersive, lots of different ways to seek out clues. We couldn't beat the best time of 40 mins Tips: GPS leads to the spa down the road. The escape room is closest to the bbq chicken. It's the stairs leading to the upper unit. Communicate with your group. Clues might come in other ways (focus on all senses)

There were 3 staff that helped us out and I very much appreciated that they were able to accommodate one friend that was running late. The rest of us started the game and he was able to join us after. For large groups, I'd highly recommend Blind Tiger Speakeasy since you could reserve it for up to 12 players. I liked that I would make a payment for 8 of us at the time of booking, and if other friends wanted to join, they could and they would just need to pay for their admission at the time of arrival. Thanks for a great time Captive Escape Rooms!

If you're worried about the horror effect, don't worry because I was too, but it was not bad! This room calls for a maximum of 8 people but we were able to complete it with 2. The staff were friendly and kind, and the ambience of the place is lovely. Looking forward to trying out the other rooms!

Roundabout Canada is located right in downtown core, just a minute walk away from Yonge and Dundas…read more Given their location, and the fact that they have 5 games available, I came in expecting smaller scale rooms (compared to the ones out in Markham or North York). And the room we were in was definitely not large. However, unless moving around was a key element in the story, I wouldn't base my ratings solely on size. We did the Prisoner. Given the allotted space they had to work with, I would say they made good use of it. There's enough space to walk around, and it really set the atmosphere of the story. Each clue was only used for one puzzle, and there were enough hints to be able to logically connect them to the appropriate locks. There was a clear sense of progression as you solved each puzzle, allowing you to move towards the next step of the story. Several clues were related to the story itself, and that's always good design. The only drawback to me is the amount of space they have to work with, given that they decided to run 5 different games concurrently, since you're paying the same price as pretty much everywhere else

Enigma Escape room is excellent. We've been to two rooms. The first was Fairytale (4/5 in…read moredifficulty). It's a small room with no secondary room, but it's a lot of fun. It has many little disjoint puzzles which are somewhat challenging. Each puzzle is independent of the others, which allows for a group to split into smaller groups and solve the puzzles in parallel. The second room was The Lost Treasure (3/5 in difficulty). It was well thought-out and somewhat more challenging than advertised. The main room leads to a secondary room, and the main room is considerably more challenging. Both rooms were suitable for all ages. One of the great things about Enigma is that they allow you a lot of extra time. On both occasions they allowed us almost an additional hour to try to escape. They gave lots of clues, without taking away from the challenge. Moreover, the place is well maintained and it is clean. Keep up the good work.

This new escape room is conveniently located downtown, and we went there for a work social. Getting…read morein was slightly disorganized, but understandably so given that there were at least 50 people squeezed into the reception area at one point. It's a cozy place though with a few couches, coat racks, and lockers to store your belongings - oh, and the mandatory signs to hold up for pictures afterwards, of course. There are 7 different rooms here, 2 of which are horror themed. My team selected the "Godfather" with its 5/5 stars in difficulty rating, with the reason that we wouldn't be embarrassed even if we failed (i.e., a good excuse haha). Without spoiling anything, it gave us quite a run for our money! At first I had thought that the 9 people (maximum) we had in the small room would be overkill, but there were a few convoluted clues in there that had all of us circling around in confusion. It was only after 4 calls for hints later (hints are unlimited here - you'll need them) and with just 1 minute to go on the clock that we thankfully made our escape. Overall, everyone enjoyed the escape games, and the friendliness of the staff definitely contributed to the positive experience. Instructions were clear and the process was fairly efficient, although I felt they were somewhat understaffed as there was sometimes a delay in receiving hints - again, this was to be expected as we constituted a large group, but you'll appreciate my frustration when you're in the room staring in panic at the clock counting down on the wall. The price is reasonable given the location, recommended! :)

The clues and room themes don't necessarily go hand-in-hand, and it feels like random puzzles were used for each themed room. I went with a group of 6 and since we were kinda noobs we decided to try out the easiest room, which is the Billard Room. The room was so small (about 3m x 5m), and with the giant pool table in the middle it was difficult to move around. From where I see the other rooms are just as small, if not smaller, so I think 4 people should be the maximum capacity for this place. We did the Death Row room, had a few bites to eat, and played some darts. The escape room was on the tougher side but was still very enjoyable, especially considering our group had people that were mostly unfamiliar with escape rooms. We then had some food - their nachos, bruschetta, and spinach dip are really yummy, would recommend getting them to share. I had the turkey bacon club for myself and it came with a lot of chips on the side, and the club itself was pretty good. We then played a round of darts, and it was pretty cool that the dart board had a sensor to move the game along and tally up points automatically.
