There was a line, but it moved quickly. We got the 3 dozens for $12 deal - cinnamon sugar, chocolate drizzle and blueberry drizzle with sprinkles (they are FREE and adds that extra touch for the kids!). My husband and oldest love the chocolate drizzle most and my middle child ate basically all of the cinnamon sugar mini donuts, which were also my fave. The blueberry drizzle was also amazing, and my little 1 year old licked off most, if not all, of the sprinkles. Definitely trying the strawberry drizzle, powdered and iced coffees next time! There are so many different toppings and flavors to choose from! We also got 2 lemonades and my kids thoroughly enjoyed them. Reubens sit next to fried pork chop sandwiches on the menu of this bright red truck and both are quality lunches for sure. I got the fried pork chop sandwich and after a bit of a wait I was presented with a golden fried, thinly cut piece of pork on top of an artisan roll served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle and a huge pile of fries ( I had asked for onion rings but he discovered he was out of them and promised to have them the next time I came). The sandwich was fantastic; crunchy with good flavor. My one comment is that an aoili or other sauce would have made it perfect. Fries were good too. I also tried some of my friends Reuben and it was juicy and full of the corned beef and sauerkraut goodness that all Reubens must have. Southern Thyme Grill is a great addition to the growing fleet of food trucks on the NC coast and one that I will be visiting again. Finding the truck is a bit of a challenge since the schedule is not currently on there website, but their Facebook page is fairly regularly updated, but when you do find it, you will be glad that you did!

The water was very chlorinated. The tea was weak but sweet. The crab dip was mostly filler, not much crap with stale pita. The prices are outrageous and the market price for crab changed $20 per pound from check in to being seated. The food was overall not good. The crab legs were good, the slaw and applesauce was good, the firecracker shrimp they gave us as an apology were the best thing we had. The flounder, catfish, crab cakes and other sides were overcooked and bland. Our service continued to be super slow as we were only checked on 1 time the entire time we were eating. The server's attitude was very much an I don't care attitude. The manager came to talk to us about the bill after they asked us how we liked the food. The bill was $250 full price and they took off two of the meals bringing it down to $180. Very little was even edible for $180. This definitely seemed more like a tourist trap than a real restaurant.

But it did not taste like a Pepsi, I think someone need to adjust the mix and clean out the pipes. It sort of tasted like several flavors were running through the same pipes.
