I frequent this Captain D's location about once a week since it's only about 5 minutes from my home, but lately the food quality has been hit or miss. My family and I visited on April 30, 2026, around 7:00 PM and went through the drive-thru. Our order included a 2-piece fish and fries, along with two Wild Caught Alaskan salmon dinners. Both salmon meals came with green beans; one had a loaded baked potato, and the other had corn on the cob. The 2-piece fish and fries were okay, no major issues there. Unfortunately, the salmon dinners were very disappointing. The salmon itself was extremely dry, the rice was crunchy, and the green beans were overloaded with salt. I'm on a salt-restricted diet, so I wasn't able to eat the green beans at all. The loaded baked potato was the worst part of the meal. The cheese and bacon topping were clumped together like a glob, and the inside of the potato was very hard, almost like it hadn't been fully cooked. Overall, the salmon meals were not enjoyable, and I left feeling like I wasted my money since most of the food was barely edible. There were three exceptional ladies I want to give a shout-out to, Debra who joyfully greeted me, while making sure I was aware of all the specials, Sephia, who of course did not wait on me but I observed her kind, courteous and professionalism and Rachel whom probably did not know I was there, but she apologetically proclaimed to a guest in the dining room about her order an offered an extra item for her wait. I have 35+ years experience in customer service and our culture has changed so much that we hardly recognize or even take the time to forward good and disappointing service upward. I placed my first online order today. When I got home and checked (yes, I should have checked at store) I was missing two items. I called and was told the lobster bisque I ordered was out of stock and asked to make a substitution and that I must drive all the way back to pick up missing items with no offer of compensation for the inconvenience. This place is very unprofessional they don't wear hair nets while fixing your food hair just everywhere with the workers. Wearing the same gloves doing everything without changing them. The lack of customer service and decrease in score is enough to make you choose to either find another location or cook at home. I could not believe how disrespectful the cashier was to the two guests in front of me. Then the orders were incorrect and she started yelling at the customer she had ignored for 10minutes. I attempted to try and lighten the mood thinking maybe the cashier was having a bad day. I put on my smiles and said hello beautiful, how is your day? I typically despise ridiculing ANY working man/woman however employees at this location off Hwy 85 in Riverdale NEED to better strategize on teamwork so as to avoid giving the customer a bad experience. I know not of many establishments still in business that can make the customer mad prior to enjoying their meal. Personally on (2) separate occasions with tonight being the most recent and on (2) other occasions with orders from family members, we have had to deal with the experience & inconvenience of incomplete orders. While it's easy to tell the customer to return to pickup the remainder of their order, when home or living in the next county/city over who desires to use up time & fuel ultimately costing the customer more money for that particular franchise's mistakes? Fortunately I came up with the desired resolution that satisfied me which was fulfilled by management however this will absolutely be the last time myself or family patronizes this location. There is no one individual to blame, but rather a team. While we are indeed all humans and prone to error, a employee representing any food establishment catering to paying customers should minimally ensure orders are complete & verify the correct items from that order are bagged as it's only fair the consumer. read more

I visited this location today..I was unaware that I was in the wrong line until the person standing next to me (who walked in 5 mins after I did)was asked what he wanted to order..even though the person who took his order saw me standing there at least 5 mins,along with the person who was passing out the order. That's when it was rudely broken down to me that i was n the pick up line.
