Everything we ordered seemed to rely entirely on the flavor of whatever was being fried rather than any seasoning in the batter itself. The shrimp, catfish, and oysters were all cooked well enough, but they just lacked flavor. Even the fried okra, which is usually one of my favorites, was disappointing.
