Kent said that he said he would be here in about ninety minutes. In fact he arrived a little bit early. He looked at the problem and figured out what was happening: it was ground water trapped by ice that made it flow against gravity up through the drain and into the basement . He did a great job of explaining it to us. He pumped the basement out completely and helped us come up with a game plan for a permanent solution.
