Jim McCarthy UP TOP ROOFING…read more831 Louisiana St. Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 To Jim McCarthy and his crew, On recommendation from a friend of mine, I contacted Jim McCarthy, owner of Up Top Roofing. My friend highly recommended Jim and his crew after having her re-roofing done by them. From start to finish clean up, Jim and his crew were professional, thorough, and friendly. Jim always returned phone calls promptly and answered all my questions throughout the process. I needed some touch up stain on my chimney and cupola, and Jim and crew got to that right away, saving me the time and expense of having to hire another contractor. Up Top Roofing's attention to detail is unsurpassed. Not only their professional work on replacing my roof, but their care in protecting the surrounding yard and gardens impressed me. The crew spent a lot of time looking for any nails or other debris in the surrounding beds and left my property spotless and my garden's unharmed. Jim's final bill came in under his original estimate and below another roofer's estimate, which I appreciated so much. I would highly recommend Up Top Roofing to anyone looking for a roofing contractor. Thank you Jim!

We have not noticed the roof getting white (we were told it would) thus the 4 stars. We are still waiting for the roof to get white!! Our siding looks soooo good!! We were happy with the siding and are waiting for the roof, though. I'd attach photos if I knew how to do that.

On the last attempt, Nick came out, measured the sink opening, and they ordered the sink. Why didn't I think of that ! They also looked at a piece of copper piping coming off my water heater, who my prior plumber told me it had to be replaced at a price of $1200. After being examined, they said the pipe was fine. Saved me $$. It was a pleasure working with Wendy, who scheduled the appointments, etc. Easy to work with, fast, professional . Services were priced right. I've gone to a few plumbing services in Door County and I think I finally found my guys! Highest possible recommendation!

We hired Eickmeyer to install central air, a whole house humidifier, and two bathroom exhaust fans…read more At first everything seemed OK. However, almost without exception, everything needed repairs and adjustments. The new thermostat refused to work, the a/c and humidifier blower was so loud we had trouble hearing the TV, water dripped from the bathroom exhaust fans (and still does), and the exterior grate for the exhaust fans rusted. After many, many service calls, most of the problems were fixed with the exception of the dripping exhaust fans and the rusty grate, which they refused to replace. We paid a high premium for Eickmeyer's services, mostly because of their reputation, but we were sorely disappointed.

A couple years ago during a heat wave my A/C quit blowing cool. They had someone out that afternoon to diagnose and charge it. A little pricey, but I needed it and they came through. This year I wanted a whole home humidifier installed. the owner came out and quoted me a good price. Great guy. I called the next week to schedule. They said they would call me back. I tried to schedule calling every week or so for 6 weeks before someone finally got back to me to schedule. For $50 more than the original quote. I didn't want to argue with the receptionist over what I was originally quoted and then have to wait another 6 weeks so I just went with it. The installers were great and the install process was painless. So. I will call them again first for my next repair/install, and hope I get the Amazing GPS, and not the Disappointing GPS.
