We called about a leaking pipe under the house. While they were under the house, they discovered…read morethat it was our baseboard heating that was leaking. While he was under the house I told him that the clean out valve under the kitchen sink was also leaking. Turned on the water to show him and he agreed, it was leaking. We also discussed a leaking Moen kitchen faucet and he took a picture of it to get the replacement part. While they were here, we also discussed possibly replacing our water softener. 5 months later having heard nothing from them, I asked if he could recommend a faster plumber. He said they never came back because we didn't reply to the estimate he sent us for a water softener. We never received an estimate or a bill. The water softener was not our main priority when we called him. Our main priority was the leak under the house which was fixed our heating company. No, I'm no plumber but as a retired Navy veteran, I understand that fixing the leak is always the main priority when multiple tasks are needed. If a light fixture was not working in the room where the leak was located, the priority would not be getting an estimate on replacing the light fixture. The main priority should always be stopping the leak. I would think that might translate to the plumbing industry also. We had three leaks and they fixed none of them. We did not call them out here to mail us an estimate for a water softener. We called them out here because we had leaks. This isn't rocket science. To top it off he said he wouldn't come out here even after finding out that we didn't get his estimate because he didn't like my attitude. Well I'm sorry, but after waiting 5 months and hearing nothing back from them I think I'm allowed a little leeway in temperament. He had our landline number, cell phone number and address but we heard nothing from him. He said because he didn't hear back from us, that's why he didn't come back to fix the leaks. So I guess the bottom line is if he can't sell us a water softener, he's not going to fix our leaks. I guess all he saw was dollar signs when we asked him to send us an estimate for a water softener. Poor customer service and zero follow-up with the customer will lose you money every time. He said he didn't call us because he didn't want to bother us. Unfortunately the US postal service is not as reliable as it once was so he was never going to hear from us. I doubt we will ever see his estimate, late or otherwise. From my point of view, we called about leaks under the house and in the kitchen sink and got no help. He got upset when I called him out him about not getting in touch with us, and he was very rude about it. I'm not the bad guy here. I'm just the customer with leaking plumbing in the house 5 months after calling this guy. Buyer beware.

Come to my home to resolve an ongoing problem with my basement drain. After listening to the description of the problem, Kent asked a couple of questions to clarify the issue. He then explained how the system works, and what the problem is. He described possible solutions that (unfortunately) did not include anything he could do, because I would've hired him on the spot). He referred me to another professional in the area to discuss one of the solutions that he proposed. In addition to being an extremely knowledgeable professional Kent is a good person. I strongly recommend him!

I didn't think I would find anyone who would take a plumbing job on a Sunday, but I started making calls around 8:00 a.m. anyway. Johnson SDC was the only company to take a call. Kent said that he said he would be here in about ninety minutes. In fact he arrived a little bit early. He looked at the problem and figured out what was happening: it was ground water trapped by ice that made it flow against gravity up through the drain and into the basement . He did a great job of explaining it to us. He pumped the basement out completely and helped us come up with a game plan for a permanent solution. His bill was reasonable and he gave us a cash payment discount. Very happy with his service, would definitely recommend!

We hired Eickmeyer to install central air, a whole house humidifier, and two bathroom exhaust fans…read more At first everything seemed OK. However, almost without exception, everything needed repairs and adjustments. The new thermostat refused to work, the a/c and humidifier blower was so loud we had trouble hearing the TV, water dripped from the bathroom exhaust fans (and still does), and the exterior grate for the exhaust fans rusted. After many, many service calls, most of the problems were fixed with the exception of the dripping exhaust fans and the rusty grate, which they refused to replace. We paid a high premium for Eickmeyer's services, mostly because of their reputation, but we were sorely disappointed.

Reinhard Plumbing, Fish Creek, has been our go-to for home plumbing servicing for over 20-years…read more You might say we grew up with them. They in every sense of the word take care of us. This past year, they stopped by to check on an issue we had in our "water closet." They saw we were in need of a water heater, and within a month installed a recommended water heater and had it set-up with safe-guards. We found a water leak that was just starting to appear, so the timing was impeccable for troubleshooting. Very grateful to them for grabbing-the-brass-ring and making this happen for us quite unexpectedly, in such a short period of time during the pandemic, and doing such a thorough job. Their loyal service through the years past and years to come is so appreciated, "thank you." We wouldn't have a home if it wasn't for your servicing specifically and in our communities. Laurie

I didn't want to argue with the receptionist over what I was originally quoted and then have to wait another 6 weeks so I just went with it.
