No communication, over-budget, over-priced…read more Watch out for his reasonably priced quote. This guy will charge you for every little change added and not tell you what the cost will be...even after asking him to give you a quote on the changes. After 21 years in business you'd think he would develop some sort of communication skills. We told him exactly what look we wanted and even provided a photoshopped image of it...all he said was OK, then he totally ignored our drawings and kept doing what he thought needed to be done. We ended up doing part of the work ourselves because he would not listen to what we wanted. Then there's the deck! We didn't realize that expecting a nice border around a new deck would be "extra". This guy was actually going to start the front of the deck with a deck board cut in half lengthwise, instead of putting the cut piece in the back of the deck against the house where it wouldn't be seen. Not professional craftsmanship. Do you want your deck to look like an amateur did it? Do you want to be over charged by $1000's? Do you want no communication as to thoughts/ideas and costs? THEN THIS IS THE GUY FOR YOU.

I can recommend Peninsula Property Services LLC without reservation. I recently completed a major…read morelandscaping project involving heavy machinery and significant manpower. As someone who obsessively plans and analyzes options to maximize value and ensure quality, I spent hours researching--so you don't have to. The Experience: I interviewed multiple contractors, but Peninsula stood out immediately for their transparency and ease of collaboration. I started with a rough concept; they patiently listened to my vision, educated me on key considerations I hadn't anticipated, outlined an efficient path forward, and curated material options balancing cost and quality. They meticulously minimized unnecessary expenses without compromising the outcome. Project manager Grant was consistently accessible and responsive. Office manager Nancy handled scheduling, estimates, and communication with precision. They guided me through every step like trusted partners. Project Execution: They arrived on time--on the exact date promised (a rarity in Door County). The crew worked with intensity and care. JR's backhoe operation was masterful, navigating tight spaces with surgical precision. The site stayed impeccably tidy throughout. Their pride in craftsmanship was evident; they cleaned up thoroughly and left the property better than they found it. As a family-owned local business, their deep roots in the community clearly fuel their work ethic. The Price: I shopped exhaustively. Peninsula's pricing was competitive, and on an apples-to-apples comparison, represented good value in a category where costs can spiral. In Sum: Peninsula Property Services LLC delivered outstanding quality, craftsmanship, and customer care. In a crowded field of providers and complex decisions, they earn trust the old-fashioned way--through reputation and results. I'm thrilled with the outcome and will use them again without hesitation. Excellent.

Within an hour of my call, Will arrived to give me an estimate. We added the removal of a black walnut tree as well as a honeysuckle, to include the grinding of the stumps and removal of the wood. I needed the work done in the next three weeks, and he said it would be done by then. By the following morning he had emailed me a written estimate. It was clearly written and the price was fair. I accepted his offer. On Friday Will texted me that the work could be done that afternoon. It was. I found Will to be prompt, true to his word, respectful and friendly. Sam and Mekhi did the work. They worked efficiently- no phones out, no standing around. Just worked till it was done. I watched them and observed they were very organized in how they went about their work, and they worked together exceptionally well. The were great young men who seemed to possess a strong work ethic. Everything was done as contracted. Cleanup was perfect. It was a pleasure meeting Sam and Mekhi. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I had to leave my house, walk over to the site, get their attention over the loud machinery and tell them they cannot block our private road and driveways. They moved the truck and flatbed then proceeded to block half of the east bound lane of Co Rd V. Then, 20 min later, another truck blocked the road and driveways! 2-3 houses on this short private road had no egress. When I again walked over there to tell them they cannot block our road, the young man (I am 71 yrs old and 5'4") argued with me, told me he is a firefighter so "knows how this goes" and asked if I had to go someplace! he did not move the truck til he was done filling another vehicle with gas. All of which could have been done at the home site or on public property around the corner. I called the company phone number and left a message - did not hear back. I called the county to see about any regulations. When I told them the name of the company, they said they are known for being uncooperative.

We had ordered flowers from our local florist and it was my job to pick them up on the way to Door Co. In the chaos and emotional confusion, I forgot to pick them up on the day of the service and didn't realize this until I had reached Sturgeon Bay. It was 11:30 am and the only greenhouse in Sturgeon Bay -- Maas Floral -- closed at Noon on Saturday. These wonderful folks took care of us and made a beautiful arrangement that was even prettier than the one originally ordered, and had us out the door and on the road in time to make the 1 pm service in Fish Creek with time to spare.
