She has well-rounded knowledge of the different types of workouts saturating the DC area, which makes her classes of the highest quality. It's almost like she can pinpoint the strengths of different programs and incorporate them into one. She is reliable, inspiring, and genuine. She makes working out fun, and I'm proud to say that I have developed a strong friendship with her in and outside of the gym. I met Liz a few years ago, and have continued to follow her ever since. When Liz moved studios, so did I. She encouraged me to come to the gym and helped me overcome my gym-intimidation. Since I hadn't stepped foot in a workout class in years, I was nervous to be the out of place noob slowing down a group of regulars. She never allowed me to feel this way, and now, I am proud to say I have made a 180 in my fitness journey, which I attribute to her encouragement.

I gave this facility a chance...a full year of membership. But today I'll be canceling. Somehow…read moremanagement thought it would be ok to have someone use BLEACH IN ITS POWDER (A CAUSTIC CHEMICAL) to scrub the BLACK MOLD from the side of the pool INTO THE POOL WHILE PEOPLE WERE STILL SWIMMING INSIDE!!!! This was the last straw. So much poor management I've witnessed throughout my time, especially with the pool. The water is always milky and has an overpowering scent of chlorine which leads me to suspect the pH is very off and they don't properly check and maintain pool cleanliness. They had their cleaning people use strong chemicals to clean the pool deck and windows during open hours. Random times they would shut down the pool without any prior notice via email or postings or otherwise. Lockers rooms always stank. This is not the case at other gyms I've been to. The premier memberships options like the recovery room and towel service were subpar compared to other Onelife facilities. Many times the hydromassage beds were not working and the red light recovery room's ambient temperature was way too hot. They should be offering eye protection for the red light like other facilities instead of just having a sign that says 'use at your own risk.' Plus one of the coat racks in the red light room is chipped and has an exposed nail that had been that way since they opened it (for months now). Their towels are tiny and would only cover the body of a child and are super rough like they overstarched them. Not to mention there were times where the towels ran out and when I asked a staff member about it, they just said that I'll just have to wait. Didn't bother to check if the dryer has clean towels, which it did when I asked a manager.

I had a very frustrating experience attempting to cancel my gym membership. I was initially…read moreinformed by Ali that the Membership Services team is headquartered at the Tysons location and that memberships cannot be cancelled on-site at the Falls Church location. However, when I contacted the Tysons OneLife location, the general manager stated that this information was incorrect and potentially misleading. According to OneLife Fitness's website, memberships may be cancelled either through a front desk representative or by emailing membershipservices@onelifefitness.com (see Image 2). Despite sending multiple emails to this address, staff at the Tysons, Falls Church, and Skyline locations all indicated that none of my messages appeared in their system. Additionally, front desk representatives at the Falls Church location repeatedly directed me to email Membership Services rather than processing the cancellation in person/over the phone. Ultimately, I spoke with Chris, the general manager at the Skyline location. After listening to my experience, he took the initiative to assist by personally sending the cancellation email on my behalf, which helped resolve the issue. I strongly recommend documenting all communications if you plan to cancel a membership at the Falls Church location. Note: Copy/pasted from a Google review that they hid online (last picture)

I'm fairly petite, 50+ was started on 175# for legs and 75# for arms. I told the trainer that was too heavy for the first time, and that I preferred a lower weight to get the form right, and then I can proceed to a higher weight. He disagreed. I could hardly move the weights and my arms collapsed after 2 of the slow timed reps. I had a lot of pain (not the oh I worked out pain but pulled something pain) in my left knee, right neck, shoulder & arm. I was unable to lift my right arm for 2 days. My neck was messed up because in trying to move the 75# weight, I shrugged my shoulders (a no-no that wasn't corrected by the trainer). Lots of ibuprofen but at least I didn't do any permanent damage. I know my body. I know what works for me. Unless you want be in extreme pain I DO NOT recommend this workout especially for those over 40.

My admittedly horrible diet hasn't changed and I haven't dropped (or gained) any weight. The service isn't inexpensive, roughly $400/month. The pricing, at least for me, was inflexible and I would love to hear from anyone who was offered training at a reduced rate. You can get a lower per-workout price by buying a longer term contract. However, the way the compute "Pay in Full" benefits decreases this benefit somewhat. What is variable is the trainer you choose to work with. There are several available and you should try each to see which one is best to motivate you. My recommendation is that even for the reasonably priced trial that you try each trainer to find the one who best resonates with you. Bottom line: I like the convenience and efficiency of a 20-minute, twice weekly workout that provides measurable, if not dramatic, improvements. I would be happier if these benefits were available at a somewhat lower price.

I have been a member almost a year now and I come here pretty much everyday, never had an actual issue. If there is an AC issue, or water temperature at the pool, "things breaking" can happen at almost every business, they are immediately taken care of. Awesome crew, on point cleanliness, actively renovating older spots, bathrooms, lockerrooms, etc - i have personally witnessed all of these in the past year. As for parking, of course, in the middle of McLean, at peak hours any business is going to have limited parking. This is common sense. Besides the peak hours, there is always space to park. One thing I would suggest tho, is to open up the pool registration hours to earlier hours as well, like 5am when the gym opens. I cant register for sooner than 7:15. Other then that, keep up the good work!

(See pic) - it is like a maze: hard to navigate easily and it reminds you of your public school set up - group classes itself were nice, but the AC AND the fans on the ceiling don't work, so imagine how hot it gets.. like 77 on my group class day. It was so uncomfortable. - if you need tennis or other courts: this is your best bet! They have so many tennis and other sport courts. So choose this location if you like tennis, squash etc. not a good fit for those who just wanna workout in group classes or swim in comfort. $90 a month plus $100 or so for initiation fee. 3.
