I called Starline as they seemed a reputable company and they agreed to diagnose the problem. What I didn't know at the time, but have susequently learned from their own website, expressed in a response to a less than glowing review, that they do not service the system that in effect, makes a fridge a fridge; the sealed system. This is comprised mostly of the compressor, the evaporator, the condenser, and the refrigerant. Odd that they say that they repair refridgerators when they don't actually work on the most critical components. So they fobbed this off on a subcontractor, who, unsurprisingly, also does not work on the sealed system. Reviewing a few trade related sites, unfortunately a little too late, it seems the reason these companies do not perform this service, is that it requires expensive specialized tools and some degree of skill and knowledge, and is far less profitable than a quick visual inspection. Contacting Starline to express my dissappointment led to a menacing message from the subcontractor and complete indifference from Starline. The damage was $145 to end up as much in the dark as before about the appliance, except the knowledge I have gained on the appliance repair business.

Dvir came out quickly and diagnosed the problem. He was able to clean out a clogged drain very efficiently. On top of that I mentioned that my top rack was acting up/ not sliding out all the way. He was there was a broken bracket and ordered the part for me. So two problems solved for a very reasonable service fee. I will definitely be calling AM PM again for any appliance problems. He was very courteous and knowledgeable with reasonable fees.
