It was perfect for weary travelers looking for an inexpensive night. A real plus was the bathroom and shower facilities. Very clean and neat. The reason for only four stars was the fact I couldn't find a garbage anywhere. I would recommend this campground for anyone looking for a good nights rest.

WOW we could not have been made to feel more welcome…read more The owner greeted us as we drove in, helped us park, hookup and even put a garbage can and welcome mat at our RV door. He gave us six farm fresh eggs for our breakfast the next day, asked us if we needed anything further and left us alone. The sites are clean, dry and easy to access. Full hookups and even WIFI! Don't overlook this place if you are in this part of Montana. We will be back.

The location is a little tough as the roads in Terry leave a lot to be desired, HOWEVER the owner drove to the Cenex station and escorted us to the campground via the smoothest, easiest way. This is a small campground with some pull thru sites. We were far enough from the freeway to not have to listen to the truck noise. There were plenty of shade trees. Full hook ups were also a plus, however their locations were off at least at our site. The biggest negative was the bathrooms. They were clean and functional, but had not been updated in about 50 years. The showers left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was fair ($25+tax).

And the digital cable TV system provides crystal clear picture on a huge number of basic and extended basic channels. I called up pretty late at night, but they still answered their phone and let me reserve a spot -- a rarity in an area where I've had trouble if I'm trying to book a room or campsite much later than 9pm. Many places just ignore their phones. They had nice grassy lawns to set up tents on, with picnic tables, and you can drive your car right in. Good shower facilities and bathrooms. I'd run over a dead deer that was lying in the highest the night before, and as the sun came up, the deer guts started to bake, producing a pretty unpleasant smell. The hosts had pretty good humor about it, and let me borrow some supplies to clean up... And even let me leave some smelly, torn pieces of deer-gut-infused mudflaps in their trash! Then after I cleaned up, they kindly pointed me in the direction of a breakfast place in town. While it doesn't have anything special that'd make it a destination in and of itself, I would definitely recommend for an overnight stop on a road trip.

She would not give me a site number to go look at it in advance so I completed our transaction because we were staying a week plus one day and then one of the workers lead us to our site. As I looked I could not believe what I was seeing !!!! We were wedged in between a tree and a fire hydrant and when my front stairs came down they landed approximately 2 to 3 feet from the sewer hose for the RV next to us. We also had a great view of broken down grills and picnic tables and the workers RV which was tucked in behind us, we had no space at all and it smelled like poop !!!! We read reviews before coming in, and we didn't listen,we came anyways and we regretted it for a week. Warning warning warning stay away from this campground !!!
