The park has a smallish swimming pool that some will like on a very hot day. But it is too small to accommodate a lot of people at the same time. There is no shallow space for the very young. And there aren't any playground facilities or a dedicated pet area. This is not a destination campground for families. But on the plus side, the owners are very friendly and the WiFi is fantastic! And the digital cable TV system provides crystal clear picture on a huge number of basic and extended basic channels. If you need a place to stop for the night while traveling I-94, these amenities might make you choose Big Sky.

The location is a little tough as the roads in Terry leave a lot to be desired, HOWEVER the owner drove to the Cenex station and escorted us to the campground via the smoothest, easiest way. This is a small campground with some pull thru sites. We were far enough from the freeway to not have to listen to the truck noise. There were plenty of shade trees. Full hook ups were also a plus, however their locations were off at least at our site. The biggest negative was the bathrooms. They were clean and functional, but had not been updated in about 50 years. The showers left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was fair ($25+tax).

It was perfect for weary travelers looking for an inexpensive night. A real plus was the bathroom and shower facilities. Very clean and neat. We had a site next to people who were staying there long term, but they put an empty site between us for privacy. That left our site feeling quite spacious. The campground was quiet. There are train tracks nearby, but they were not running overnight when we were there. The bathrooms and laundry were clean with an odd layout, but plenty of space. We would stay here again for the friendliness of the office and the clean facilities.
