So that is the good things Now the negatives 1. There are no signs on where to go, where to check in etc. we guessed that the motel is where to check in at It takes very little effort to make signs 2. Who ever is in charge needs to update the on line info and spend 5 minutes on a web page. There is no cable anymore. I understand it is a tough business but a little effort goes a long way

It was perfect for weary travelers looking for an inexpensive night. A real plus was the bathroom and shower facilities. Very clean and neat. The location is a little tough as the roads in Terry leave a lot to be desired, HOWEVER the owner drove to the Cenex station and escorted us to the campground via the smoothest, easiest way. This is a small campground with some pull thru sites. We were far enough from the freeway to not have to listen to the truck noise. There were plenty of shade trees. Full hook ups were also a plus, however their locations were off at least at our site. The biggest negative was the bathrooms. They were clean and functional, but had not been updated in about 50 years. The showers left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was fair ($25+tax).

We planned a road trip just to visit the north and south entrances of this park. It did not disappoint. It is a natural spectacle of beauty, nature and buffalo! It's like the Badlands and Yellowstone had a baby. Things I didn't see in many of the national parks that we have visited -the cap stones, mushrooms, and cannon balls. So many beautiful Buffalo up close and personal. We were also lucky enough to see the wild horses along with many prairie dogs and a solo coyote having an afternoon rest under a Cottonwood tree. The two entrances are about 60 miles apart (and do not connect to one another), but worth the drive. Make the trip!

The Miles City Montata KOA id no different. In fact it exceeds all expectations. Ste in a beautiful setting next to the Tongue River in case you like to fish, there's plenty of it going on here. The town itself is a true life western gem and could be the backdrop for a movie. All around a to to offer. The KOA is extremely well appointed exceptionally clean and the cabins and tent site are excellent. Best cabin I ever stayed in. Super clean and quiet. The office is a standout with Tim the grounds manager (I assume) running the show. A huge smile and friendly to every customer i saw walk in. Folks, his is not an easy job, KOA employees work there butts off to provide the best for us and here in Miles City they do it right!. I can't say enough about Tim and his crew. The office and store itself provide all the general amenities, services and offer all the products for purchase you need o have an excellent stay. I enjoyed this KOA so much i had to book a long 3 night stay for next month. You gotta try this one out, REALLY! The franchise owners should be proud!
