I've lived in Riverside for five years, and this was my first time visiting this spot--I have to say, I've definitely been missing out. The sandwiches were incredibly delicious, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. I went to Capriotti's twice this week because of a promotion i saw online. I was surprised to see it was really busy when i arrived. I chose to order online and my food was ready when i got there despite them being busy. Inside is not too big but there is a couple of tables you can choose to sit at. I was also surprised to see they offered various cheesesteaks and even sold soup which i wasn't aware of. I ordered their Italian sandwich both times. The first time it was really loaded up with lots of meat and i enjoyed it overall. The second time it was about half the meat as last time so I'm not sure if they messed up the first time i went or if it just depends who makes it. The second time It was also missing mayo which i did choose as an add on. Overall i think the sandwhich was good better than subway for sure but i don't think it's the best Italian sandwhich I've had. So I cane today to order a new sub they are advertising (member so i got a text) unfortunately they didn't have it in the system yet because its new so i order the cooper sub online, i then had to order a different sub there because i could not make substitution on the waygu club. So then had to reoder my meal the girl originally helping me very much kind and i gave a tip however there was another young lady that really didnt seem to have a good attitude. I waited for my food no one was cooking or anything and a gentleman came out of nowhere to hand me my grilled cheese however he was unaware of my two additional sandwhiches. He then asked the young lady who said "oh yea they been there, it just needed the grilled cheese". I was a little annoyed but hey not an issue boom in my way i went. OMG... I found my new Sandwich Shop! This place is amazing! I had the opportunity to try several of their sandwiches in one visit because we ordered for a large event. They were all on point. I love Thanksgiving Dinner so I would have to comment on the "The Bobbie" today... I ate more of that one than any other but I was lucky and got to try a sample of several. It was absolutely delicious! I also tried all of their cookies and they were very, very good. They were soft but still had a bit of a crunch. They were the perfect size and served individually wrapped. We actually had left over cookies after the event (Crazy.... Right!!!) And I was able to take them home. The lasted a few days and they were just as good! The service was excellent... especially for a large order and the employees were super pleasant! My sandwich was pretty good. I would elect to not have Cole slaw, but was unaware it was a part of the sandwich. It was large, pretty good flavor too. My customer service was amazing. Greeted with a hi and hello by both the staff and the customers. They were regulars who suggested I enjoy the fries (even offered me some)! Environment is quiet. I went to the place on Magnolia in Riverside today, because the place next door had a long line and i didn't want to wait that long. I suspect the young man that helped me hasn't been there very long. He seemed to get lost easily. I ordered two mini sandwiches. I received one mini (4 inch), and one small (8 inch). The food was good, I won't say great, a bit pricy, ($38.00) but definatly better than most. The proportion of bread to meat was very good, the lettuce was crisp, and the place was clean. Being clean means a lot to me. It could use some background music. One thing i would change is to cut down on the paper wrapping! We had a lot of waste to throw away. I visited this place a few days ago , Rose was very nice ,and helpfull , unfortunately the menu was a bit confusing , they make 4, 6, 8, 10. Etc inch sandwiches , so settled for 2 italian 10 inchers , and fries , 32$ later . The sandwiches were delivered quickly, but looked nothing like the pictures in the website. The chicken cheesesteak was too wet and made the bread a soggy mess. It was impossible pick up to eat. The pastrami sandwich had a measly amount of pastrami and was also very wet.
