Stopped in to try this place and was unimpressed by the girl behind the counter who did not greet me or barely look at me to speak...I ordered without eye contact or being prompted... just stood behind the register waiting...bad first impression regardless of how the food is... $54 on 3 subs I expected a hello" or "welcome" and a "thank you" for your business... there was nobody in the lobby area except an old spilled soda that was not cleaned up... I can go to Subway and have a poor customer service experience! read more

I have been wanting to try this place, so yesterday we finally did. We ordered 3-10 inch subs and one bag of chips. It was almost $56.00 (they ask for tips too on top of insane prices). WTH? 2 of us ordered Waygu beef subs and 1 ordered a Bobbie turkey sub. We were sadly disappointed in what we got for the price. I had higher expectations for Waygu beef, and the prices are insane for a sub. There was not much meat (maybe 4 ounces???), and the provolone was paper thin cut. The Bobbie had stuffing that was dried out and too salty. My son had to remove it as it was inedible. The beef was really no different than Boar's head London broil. I tasted it separately from the sandwich and is just medium rare deli roast beef. I had only lettuce and tomato on my sub, as I am allergic to onion. It was very bland and parts of the beef were actually a bit chewy. I just do not see any perceived value for the prices they charge. At almost $19 a sub with tax and a 10% tip, I honestly felt grossly ripped off. It really just an $8 sandwich. We could have eaten at a chain sit-down restaurant for less money per serving. Although they were friendly and fast to prepare them, that seemed to be the only positive part of my purchase. Publix subs put them to shame. Would I return? It is a hard no. If you are charging over $16 for a smaller sub, it had better exceed expectations. I cannot see them staying in business too long with these prices. This was a failure for us. There are so many other options nearby for a better sub (that are bigger and cheaper), but this one was not a win. read more

Delicious options. The bread is so soft and the sandwiches are huge and filling! It was fast service. When I was pregnant I ordered the fresh turkey sub and it really hit the spot for me. My husband enjoyed the steak! read more

We were in the area visiting from Winter Haven and after seeing they had vegetarian cheesesteak sandwiches, we absolutely had to try Capriotti's. They did not disappoint whatsoever. Between the friendly and super accommodating staff to the size of the sandwiches and the overall quality of the food, we were thrilled. What a great meal! We will be back next time we are in the area! read more

I placed an order for myself and my family. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak no mushrooms. I was beyond disappointed. I only ate 1/4 and my sister ended up giving me half of what she ordered. Instead of a chicken cheesesteak sandwich it was more like a hot chicken salad sandwich with mostly bread & extra mayonnaise & some melted cheese. I couldn't even find or taste any grilled onions. There was no flavor, just tasted like a big mayonnaise sandwich. It grossed me out so much I couldn't even finish it. This was nothing like the picture that showed 'chunks' of chicken with big pieces of grilled chicken and like 2-3" of chicken/onions between the top and bottom bun. I was thinking it would be like a the Philly chicken cheesesteak from Penn Statuon but I was sadly mistaken. It was nothing like that. I'm going to save the rest of the sandwich and actually return it, which I normally would never do. read more

The first reason for 3 stars is, very unsanitary, no one sweeps or wipes down tables. You can't be selling quality food and the place lacks the respect you should have for your patrons who are keeping you open. I believe if they can overcome this part it might be an establishment to be reckoned with. Now for the food, we had the Wagyu cheese steak on the 18-inch hero. OMG!! Cooked with love, I tip my hat to the cook. Well prepared, my family and I split this into 4, and even our boys enjoyed the food. As much as this place should've gotten a 5-star review I won't dismiss the unsanitary going on in the seating area and floors. This ruined the moment of enjoying the food to full capacity. Management please do better, a potential full customer. read more

Lets start with the register they put in the food wrong and everything was repeated more than once next up took some time and got charged for craisins?? Why craisins??? Next when the food did appear ofc it was wrong so needed a remake and also they advertise 25% more meat for cheesesteaks and yeah u couldn't see the meat when opening it was so slim and meatless i just laughed to myself so disappointed i will not return which stinks because they taste well read more

Great sandwiches!!!! Good delivery and conversations regarding order with store. So glad I found this deli!! Delious!!!

I did an online order for pick up today. We ordered the Wagyu French dip and Wagyu club. We get home and we have no IU dipping sauce and the driest turkey club I have ever seen in my life. I expect more from Capriotti's. I expect them to at least know how to read to get a job there... absolutely ridiculous... read more

Great sandwiches and fast service! I come here all the time. Very fresh ingredients and people are always friendly.

I saw so many ads for this chain that when I was in Lutz Florida the other day, I thought I would give them a try. I ordered a medium steak and cheese to go, I went to my car and ate the sandwich, the roll and the cheese was delicious, the steak was terrible. Why, the steak was rubbery and had pieces of fat stuck to some of the pieces of steak, also they cooked the steak over areas of the grill that caused the steak to pick up the taste of onions ect. Wasted $16.00. read more

Saturday afternoon around 4, a steady stream of customers. Apparently a chain or franchise-able restaurant with another location in WesChap. I'm not sure who is t getting good service, but Sat. 4 pm shift was stellar. Even the adorable older couple beside us commented on the service! Lots of sandwich options, choose your size, 5,6,12,18 then your Sammy. The tuna was tasty, the cheese steak was piled high with steak, peppers on a soft hoagie bun, more cheese and a dash of salt recommended! The Italian was sprinkled with Italian seasoning, nice meat to cheese to toppings ratio that hubs was please with. All wish the bread could be a bit toasted to create a small barrier. Tomato bisque, clam chowder and chicken noodle were the soup options. Tomato bisque was the perfect match w/ my tuna. FREE kids grilled cheese with an adult. Solid shop, fresh baked cookies happening. Vegan options and every sandwich can be thrown atop lettuce if you are against (or tummy can't tolerate) soft delicious bread. read more

Super high hopes. Huge sandwich. Loved the grill. I was hoping for a real Italian roll. The Italian deli in Wesley Chapel has amazing bread. By the time I got the sandwich home the roll was mush. Worth a second try however. read more

This wasn't just deli meat in my sandwich like I was expecting... It was ACTUAL turkey! My homemade Turkey was made to order and not soggy. Though the sandwich was a bit bland, I think that was more so my fault. I should have added all the bells and whistles. Beware, that a medium 10" is fairly large so come with your appetite. I ordered through UberEats, so I can't speak to their service or ambience, but I do like my customization on my sandwich was accurate. read more

I was reviewing another Philly Cheesesteak place, and 2 people said Capriottis was better, so I decided to try it. Well, hands down Capriottis is better in the customer friendly environment. As for the food, both places I had a chicken Philly. It was much better here. However, it wasn't amazing, I would call it good. Watching other food come out, next time I will try another sub. As for price point, prices are way more reasonable here. $12 for a sub and a drink vs $$18+ for just a sub. read more

Got to say I was surprised to see all the good reviews and was disappointed this place does have really good cheesesteaks and the bread is really good but I also got an Italian sub that there were hardly and toppings on.For the prices they are charging at least throw some more lettuce on it.I mean there was hardly and cheese only 1 ring of onion and such a thin slice of tomato and there is not a huge list of toppings to choose from either and I asked for oil an vinegar and deli dressing the sandwich was dry as a bone.Maybe this was a mistake there were all young kids working in there but if people are going to pay these prices it shouldn't be for a half empty bun.I did enjoy the cheesestake but wouldn't advise any cold sandwiches read more

I need to give Capriotti a try first time there, and I will have to say the food is outstanding ! Sandwiches were of good size and built correctly and very tasty. The location that we visited was not too busy and the criticism I have is when going up to the order window the person who is taking the orders didn't greet us, or ask us how they could help us just kinda stood there, and kinda expected us to know what we wanted and didn't really greet us at all other than that service was quick and I didn't take long to get this food and I will say I will be back extremely tasty great place for lunch. We both had Cheesesteaks and the French Dip sandwiches and both were very very good. read more

My employer bought lunch today and the staff chose to order sandwiches from Capriotti's. Wise choice. Our sandwiches were delicious. The bread was great and they were delivered warm. They have the best sandwiches and I really recommend this hot spot! The restaurant is also very clean and located in a good area. I tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was delicious. Their prices are well worth the money for such a huge sub. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are also quick so it makes it easier for those who are on lunch from their jobs. I was very happy with the fact that they are meticulous when making your food. This is a great place to have a lunch date. The environment is also low key and laid back. I can say without a doubt that you will enjoy eating her. read more

Had a half Italian just the way it comes today. My first visit!!! This is now my very favorite Italian sub!!!

The price point is pretty high for a sandwich shop, which sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the product falls short. The Italian is bland, the cheesesteaks are just ok, and the turkey sub is also bland. Last time I was there, I asked for a cup for water, and the guy charged me for a bottled water. I didn't realize until I was leaving and the cashier gave me some goofy explanation as to why he did it. I was in too much of a rush to argue or bother with it. After giving it 4-5 tries, it's safe to say I won't be returning. read more

So it seems that the store at 12267 State Road 54 Odessa, FL 33556 has it right. After horrible experiences at the Collier store, the worst of which was a food delivery where they just left it at the front door of an open office with a receptionist, who didn't even bother to knock, and the order was wrong, I switched to the SR 54 store. I will simply say it is night and day and I wish I had not wasted my money at the other store, but I will continue to go to what my office staff now refers to as "the Right Capriotti's" read more

My first impression of this establishment was marred by the poor attitude of the employees working. I ordered 8" Hot Bobbie and a 8" Italian Classic with sweet and hot peppers on it. My second impression was when opened my "Hot Bobbie" sandwich at home and got a very disappointing sandwich. This sandwich is supposed to consist of fresh turkey, stuffing, cranberry's, and mayo. I asked for no cranberry's, but what I got was very little turkey and all stuffing. I believe that a turkey wing has more meat than what this sandwich had in it. I barely ate half of this sandwich due to the fact it had all stuffing in it. My Italian Classic was just ok, because they forgot my peppers that I requested. So this $22.00 dollar trip to Capriotti's was definitely not worth the money and the 20 minute trip. Total Disappointment read more

Good sandwiches! Great options for vegetarians, which is super awesome. Not sure where else you can get a vegetarian cheesesteak!

WHERE'S THE MEAT? We are moving to Las Vegas and we were told to try Capriottis. We went to the store at Serene and Eastern. My wife ordered the cheesesteak and I opted for the large Italian. My wife loved the cheesesteak, but I was extremely disappointed with the Italian. The roll was delicious, but "Where's the meat"? One thin layer of each meat for $21??? I have had a 6" sub from Subway with more meat. If this is a standard, then I have no reason to go back...not for $21! We'll try Port of Subs next. I sent the above to their customer support and got the standard form letter reply and offered a free small sub as compensation. I'm not a math major but a free small sub for a disappointing large sub (especially for $21.00!!!) doesn't cut it. My sub looked pitiful compared to the picture on their web site. read more

Disappointed. Kept waiting for them to open. Finally went. I'm on keto so I ordered a large chopped salad. Barely had any meat on it and not chopped at all. Very boring and bland. You would think they could do better. Son got a cheesesteak that was good. Small place. Crowded. Friendly staff. Recommend ordering ahead. Meh. Won't rush back. read more

Great cheesesteak! A little busy and slow given that they just recently opened, but the cheesesteak was worth it.

On my first visit I got the meatball sub and it was pretty good. Slightly different from a traditional meatball, so that was a nice change. The bread can make or break a sandwich. This place has good bread, so I'll keep going back. I look forward to trying some of the other sandwiches on the menu. I will definitely add Capriotti's into my sandwich shop rotation. read more

I have tried their cheese steaks twice now. Last time as recent as 11/17,each time the meat is tuff/chewy and not much flavor.
