A $1300 new toilet installation. His cheapest? We buy a new toilet and he installs it for $400. I did a little poking around and fixed the issue for a $11 flush tank ring. I posted a comment on JIT's webpage and no one bothered to reach out. I wonder how many people that plumber has scammed out of significant money. Add another - as he was leaving, he remarked that we didn't have a pressure regulator on our incoming water line - I told him we did have one but we had it removed - and then he started low-key arguing with me saying he didn't see any evidence one ever existed. I had a clog in my bathroom sink…read more had VIP sewer come out to do a snake but the associates came in so hot right out the gate on blatant upsells and "issues" that could not be resolved with just a snake. even so far to point out that there's teflon tape on the pipes that can't be replaced / they don't the specialty tape... TEFLON tape?! hahaha i ain't stupid. once they snaked and was not able to get through, they said that the next step was to find the clog in the wall open the wall cut out the pipe and replace (a 1.5k+ job) i asked if there were any other options like hydro-jetting or such and they said hydro jetting would spew out everywhere not able to be done second floor i did my due diligence and called a few contractors that knew plumbers that werent on yelp a guy came in the next day, hydro-jetted the clog out in 30 minutes without needed to do any of the above, and only charged me $60 lol beware of the upsell! + though, since they did not get the clog out they did not charge me, just off putting on the blatant upsell. the owner seemed nice though.

Very quickly began troubleshooting to isolate source of leak and after less than 15 minutes of running back and forth from the street to the back of the house confirmed the problem could not be a sprinkler line. In fact it was a broken connection on a hose feed. Not all heroes wear capes! I am recently widowed after 43 years and with plumbing/sprinklers I was at a total loss of where to even begin. Despite this, they honored the original quote and did not increase the price. Our technicians, Logan and Bradley, were professional, respectful of our home, and careful not to damage anything or leave a mess while efficiently completing the job. What also stood out was the honesty. There were no high-pressure sales tactics or attempts to upsell additional work. Instead, Logan gave us a straightforward assessment of what to watch for in the future and walked us through potential options and their ballpark costs. This was a stark contrast to another plumbing company I had used previously, which told me I needed to replace the entire main line.
