We rented a carpet cleaner from a store and it did not function correctly. A replacement rental machine worked better- but still poorly, as neither machine was able to suck up all the soapy cleaning solution. The rental machines caused a mess! Sticky soap residue was spread throughout other areas and the bad dog odor was better but not fully removed. Finally a good idea: bringing in a professional to take care of our mess! Lucas Home Solutions was able to quickly work us into their schedule. Their work was professional & efficient. They were able to remove all the soap residue the rug doctor machine left in the carpet, along with all the odor from the sick dog. We will never make that mistake again. Never rent a carpet cleaner!! Use a professional.
