I've only been during the Christmas season, but I understand it's amazing all year long. I want to go this year in the Spring, around Easter. When I say it's over the top Christmas decorations, I mean OVER THE TOP. I've never seen anything like it, and I mean that in a great way. If you're looking for wonderful Christmas decorations, accessories, ornaments, etc. This is definitely worth a trip before Christmas. I went 3 times this year LOL. I bought some fun new ornaments for our tree and my friend bought home accents. They also sell other items - candles, jewelry, a wide range of dips/mixes. They walk around with samples of drinks and dips so you can check out their mixes. They also sell jams and relishes. This last trip, we bought the bacon/horseradish dip and the chipotle ranch dip. I made the bacon one into a dip and the ranch one into a cheese ball. Both were delicious. My friend bought and made the apple cider drink, which has you add caramel vodka. The drink was delicious! The Christmas Jam was also a hit (it's strawberry/cranberry). Highly recommend if you're near Eustis - and there's a Foxtail next door if you want to grab a quick coffee and sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather. read more

I have no idea how we managed to live near this place for so long, and yet never knew it existed. My wife absolutely loves this place. A year round Christmas store so close to home? Yes please. Everything. I love everything about this overwhelmingly wonderful place. It has gifts for every occasion and everybody. I feel so relieved to be able to go in here and know I can find a gift that is personal. It is the kind of gift giving that makes you a hero. All year long they deliver special ideas. It is such a good experience and pleasant place that when I have out of state guests visit, I take them here. Their hours of operation are a little weird to me ( they close so early) but that is a small quibble on my part. I can't imagine a scenario where someone would go here and be disappointed. Out of all the stores in the downtown Eustis, Peddler's Wagon is probably my favorite. Not because I am looking to purchase a bunch of decorations or gifts, but because of the staff. If you call the store a staff member answers with a friendly tone, states their name, and speaks clearly, so that you can understand them. When customers arrive, a staff member greets you and opens the door. The same staff member thanks you for coming and opens the door again when you leave. While you are shopping, two to three more staffers bring by samples of jam's, flavored cheese spreads, and drink mixes that are for sale. Finally, when you are checking out, staff do a wonderful job gift-wrapping packages if requested. Most stores just do not provide this type of customer service anymore; I truly appreciate their efforts here. Peddler's Wagon is packed full of beautiful holiday decorations along with everyday items that you might need. If you are gearing up for Christmas, now is the time to stop in; their Christmas selection is almost overwhelming! I would also like to note that they did a fantastic job pre-Halloween the last time we were here. Nancy and I purchased a few items that she will most likely have for many years to come. This is overall a great gift & decor shop that really excels with their Christmas collection - even if the shopping experience can be a little weird. The quality and value for their high-end holiday decorations is top-notch - and there's alot of it. You'll also find candles and general smell-good things, flowers & plants for faux arrangements/wreaths, and all kinds of cool tchotkes. I think anyone who walks in with the intentions of buying something will find a thing or two. The in-store shopping experience can be a little odd though around the holidays. In about a 30 minute period, we were approached 7 times with offers of finger foods, drink samples, etc. - none of which we were interested in. Unfortunately, you have to tell them "no thanks" 2-3 times each time they ask. It's just so weird that they'll interrupt your shopping and discussion with someone else to push this stuff on you. If not for that, I'd have zero complaints. But even with that, cool shop to find a gift for someone or update your holiday decorations with some quality stuff. Prices are very fair, too. read more

We love this place. However August 29 in the afternoon we drove here from Orlando after checking there website a few weeks ahead of time to MAKE SURE they were open. Site said they were open till 4 so we drove over 40 minutes only to find a closed sign. We are not happy. 4 of us piled in the car to come here to shop. They should post this on their website. I am beyond angry at this. We spend lots of money and my entire day was wasted. I have other things to do and other places to spend money. If you own a business you should be consistent. I've only been there during Christmas, but want so bad to go in Spring & Fall. They have every scheme of decorating you can think of. This is the most beautifully decorated store! The front was general decor and then the back was a Christmas wonderland! They were passing out hors d'oeuvres of the dips for sale and cider which was nice and I purchased some as a result. I also got a pretty ornament. Friendly staff and great customer service too. I feel like I died and went to shopper's heaven in here. There is absolutely nothing else to do in this town but this store makes up for it. I thought it was just going to be a flower shop but it is soooo much more. There are so many beautiful items in here for everyone's taste. The back corner has the most gorgeous Christmas display. I absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, we were offered a cold beverage. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Once I chose what I was buying and went to ring up, the staff again was friendly, helpful and very carefully were wrapping everything up so it wouldn't be damaged. Once they found out that I wasn't local, they unwrapped everything again, closely inspected it for damage and to make sure everything was operable so that I wouldn't have issues when I get back to Texas. Seriously, they go above and beyond! I wish they shipped as their stuff is just gorgeous!!! I had to take some pictures of the Christmas section as my husband loves it and it was just breathtaking. It is the most wonderful place I have ever been in. I go as many times as I can and I have yet to make it thru the entire store. As soon as you walk in it goes from the ceiling to the floor with SO much. I would buy all the store if I could afford it. I place a limit and once I'm there. I make myself stop. I have yet to make it into the Christmas room. I have taken a lot of friends and everyone loves it. I can tell I need to go back myself. Wish they were closer. This place started small and had great success. So, they moved into a larger store across the street. And they still have great success. This Holiday gift shop is a rare gem located in the northern half of the county. They have no competition and rightly so. Run by a young man and wife who are crazy about each other, this store exudes good feelings as soon as you enter. Both customers and owners are always pleasant and positive. Although Christmas isnt the reason they exist, much of their inventory is related to the holidays. Its been a year or more since I have been inside, but as I recall, they have alot of odd nick nacks for both indoors and outdoors. You are sure to find something that you need or want, and prices are very reasonable. There is also a resident feline that spends most of the nights sleeping in the showcase windows or on the floor in front of the locked glass doors. This is the sort of store that central Florida cities should strive to recruit. read more
