Wow this place is amazing. So much high end Christmas stuff. ! Anything your heart desires. They also offered us free cider and cookies so good. A must see if you are in Eustis..

Out of all the stores in the downtown Eustis, Peddler's Wagon is probably my favorite. Not because I am looking to purchase a bunch of decorations or gifts, but because of the staff. If you call the store a staff member answers with a friendly tone, states their name, and speaks clearly, so that you can understand them. When customers arrive, a staff member greets you and opens the door. The same staff member thanks you for coming and opens the door again when you leave. While you are shopping, two to three more staffers bring by samples of jam's, flavored cheese spreads, and drink mixes that are for sale. Finally, when you are checking out, staff do a wonderful job gift-wrapping packages if requested. Most stores just do not provide this type of customer service anymore; I truly appreciate their efforts here. Peddler's Wagon is packed full of beautiful holiday decorations along with everyday items that you might need. If you are gearing up for Christmas, now is the time to stop in; their Christmas selection is almost overwhelming! I would also like to note that they did a fantastic job pre-Halloween the last time we were here. Nancy and I purchased a few items that she will most likely have for many years to come. If you are searching for a special gift, unique holiday item, or are just looking for a great place to shop while in Eustis, then look no further than Peddler's Wagon.

This place is the most fun you can have at a gift shop- a feast for the eyes, plus they circulate canapés and samples of drinks- what more could you want from a shopping experience? It's filled with eclectic finds- you could spend hours here from the Christmas section to beach decor to decorative lamps, flowers, prints to quirky dog lovers gifts- it's all here. Totally delightful!

Yes! Yes! Yes! The only thing I can really recommend is, have some time to look around. It's absolutely beautiful in this store. Everywhere you look is something to fall in love with. I've only been there during Christmas, but want so bad to go in Spring & Fall. They have every scheme of decorating you can think of. Flowers, Glass, Beads, Powdered Snack Dips, (that they actually make and pass around whilst you're shopping!), every holiday decor you can imagine. It's a family business and has been for years. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. You will not be disappointed.

This is one of those stores where you can spend a lot of time in! They have home decor, patio decor, Christmas decorations, mix's for dips, cards, etc. The employees are awesome, they were passing out drinks on a tray, asking if we needed help. I love stores like this because they are mostly family owned. I can't wait to go back again to pick up more gifts!

I had to take some pictures of the Christmas section as my husband loves it and it was just breathtaking.

Eh, this is one of the less interesting Ollie's locations I've been in. We went in looking for a…read morespecific item, but they were sold out. This is to be expected - and I don't see much reason to return. Overall, they had a smaller selection than other Ollie's, and it was more disorganized and borderline messy than we expected. The stuff just wasn't impressive - in quality, brand, or even pricing. It was pretty busy, too - and there was 1 cashier and a line of 10 customers waiting. I'm not sure I would've waited the half hour to get the item we wanted even if it was there. Lesson learned.

If you like comics, you should visit your nearest Ollie's at least once. They carry a large…read moreselection of trade paperbacks from Marvel, DC, and smaller publishers. You'll likely find something new to try, or something that fills in a hole in your collection. I save an average of 80% off list price. The comics in this location are on three different shelves, so make sure you don't miss any of them. It's not a bad idea to look around the whole books area. I found stacks of comics placed by staff who likely didn't know where they actually belonged. The comics here are. Not. Organized. At. All. So it takes about an hour to look through all of them. It's worth the effort since that's the way I've found hidden gems. I'm not ashamed to say that I bring a pair of knee pads with me when I go to any Ollie's location. I can't squat long enough to search through the lowest shelves, especially when they're so disorganized. A properly organized Ollie's only takes about ten minutes to go through. But that's up to the book manager's discretion. It's a shame really, since the rest of the books area is so perfectly organized. Gotta dock a star for this location. The Orange City Ollie's knows how to do it right! PROTIP: Join Ollie's Army. Occasionally you'll get a coupon for 15% off your purchase. It helps me save a lot on my comics hauls.

I spent the morning in Eustis, visiting some local coffee shops, wandering around and enjoying a…read morepleasant time. Eustis began taking shape in the 1870s, when post‑Civil War settlers moved into the Florida frontier and homesteaded along the eastern shore of Lake Eustis. The community first went by names like Highlands and Pendryville before adopting the name Eustis in honor of Colonel Abraham Eustis, who had served in the region during the Seminole Wars. Early life revolved around steamboat travel on the interconnected Harris Chain lakes, but the arrival of the St. Johns and Lake Eustis Railway in 1880 pushed the settlement toward true cityhood with stores, churches, hotels, and a growing citrus industry. Today, the city is known for winter tourism and I get that. It was nice and warm but a foggy morning in early December, making it easy to explore. There are a variety of restaurants in town, including classic Florida on the lake like Crazy Gator or more ethnic options like Taste of Lebanon. A few coffee shops (One Thirteen was great for setting up my laptop) and several retail shops. It's just far enough from the Orlando and Daytona metros to be independent and close enough that you could hop to MCO or DAB for a flight. I like it. It's amazing there is a canal to help cross into another lake to see other cities as well. If I didn't already have my roots in Arizona, I'd consider Eustis!
