We spotted this place on our way to Eustis from Mount Dora and decided we had to stop. The store is HUGE and houses multiple individual sellers, selling everything vintage, used, collectable, and new. You could easily spend an hour here looking through all the different items, so bring your walking shoes. I didn't find any items I was looking for; however, I did meet one of the sellers who informed me where I could find those items at another location. The biggest downfall with Thrift Marts is if you're looking for a specific item it most likely will not all be in one location, such as: books, furniture, comic books, and records, will be spread out in different places throughout the store. The other thing I noticed is that some items are just way overpriced for example a used no name brand guitar was selling for $150. This guitar had one string on it and almost all the frets were missing what's up with that? Also, many new items that were selling such as ratcheting straps to tie down a load for transport, or braided 3/8" hose connections for underneath your sink are at least $3 to $4 above retail price of Lowe's or home Depot, too expensive!! I would return again in the future, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here because it's about a 40 minute drive. Otherwise it's a cool place and it's definitely worth the stop.

Super fun place to shop! Great prices and variety. So many vendors that you can get your steps in walking this place.

This was one of the locations that came up - the antique center does have stalls open during the week aside from the outdoor market they have outside the facility on Sundays. Similar to some of the other antique malls or multi-stall stores I've been to, there are different stalls that are rented out by different vendors that sell different items. Depending on when you visit, some may not be open for business and will be roped off or have signs saying when they will be open next. We did go when some folks were still off for the holidays, which resulted in a handful of closed stalls, but a good number of the locations were open to wander and shop. Some of the stalls sell vintage and retro items and others like the large toy/doll stall on one of the ends sell deadstock collectible items. I think there's something there for everyone - I saw booths for books, dolls, collectibles, old wartime items, jewelry, and home decor. Pricing does vary for each of the booths and items. Some may run some deals and they will have signs to call out what is on sale in their booth. I did not purchase anything, but I believe if the owner of the booth is not present, you can go to one of the desks throughout the center and ask the folks working there to assist with purchases or for unlocking locked cabinets to see something. There was a decent amount of parking when I went, but if you do go during the outside market on Sundays, I suspect you'd want to go early to get a spot.

Due to the timing, not all the booth spaces were occupied. We spent about a half hour walking around checking out the folks that were there. There weren't many folks shopping. The vendors are on grass and dirt. You have to be a bit careful walking around as there are many dips and holes in the ground. There was one produce vendor. We got some lovely huge radishes from them for only $1. Most of the other vendors were clothing, tools and accessories, jewelry and a couple household items. One vendor had a mix of antiques, junk, and collectibles. I did find a gal selling some miscellaneous items on a side table -- just to get rid of them at 50 cents apiece. From her, I bought a lovely sheesham wood box that had been spray painted silver. I'll use this for an art project. I also got a pretty silver and black bracelet. So, two bargains for just a $1. They're only open certain days. So double check before you make the trip. I imagine in season -- and not after a holiday -- that there are more vendors, and it would be more worthwhile. I'm still glad we got to go. Always like checking out the different markets and thrifts.

While you are at it, there is tons of authentic Mexican delicacies such as aguas frescas, mangonadas, pupusas, tacos de birria, shops, jewelry, plant shops and more. I have tried several food spots in here but I have to say my new favorite is going to be Pollos Asados al Carbon. To start off, the owner treats you like family, jokes around with you, the music choice is mainly ranchera music, which makes me feel like I am back home in my hometown of Monterrey Mexico. The chicken is well cooked on the grill right in front of you. I swear I thought I was with my friends having a cook out with everyone just having a good time. They bring it to your table, the 1/2 chicken comes with rice and beans for 2 and salad, cebollita, chile asado, and they supply a homemade salsa that tastes so incredibly authentic. I am serious I was impressed about how good the food was. You will not regret this spot, it checked all my boxes.

There are 200+ stalls in the place selling everything from soup to nuts. One has to be the latter to show up in a weekend day or even any day during high tourist season. Since we aren't here in such a day, nearly all the stalls are closed, meaning anyone looking to "drive" a bargain is gonna "stall" out. Speaking of stalls, there are restroom facilities scattered throughout the market. Do yourself a favor and don't spend too much time in here. Meantime a lot of what one may find in there tends toward that which the tourist would likely buy: cheap tchotchkes and mediocre merchandise of odd origin and questionable quality. Also know that the market caters heavily toward Hispanics. Place is laid out like a grid in an aluminum sided building, and there is some semblance of temp control in there. So find a pattern (say back to front, side to side), walk it and GTFO before you totally die of boredom and your wallet dies due to dollar store dysentery. Blech!

It's near the restaurant that was converted from an old gas station. There was a good amount of parking for the mall when I went in the late afternoon. This is another location where vendors rent space in the mall and sell their goods under one roof. Any purchases are taken to the front to be rung up and paid for. This one was a bit more organized in the respective stalls and had a good balance of collectibles, home decor, clothing, accessories, and miscellaneous items. I personally saw more retro or modern items in the booths this time versus true antiques or vintage items I feel. Staff were friendly and welcoming to everyone in there.

There is a large selection of items; from furniture to jewelry to Disney to stained glass lamps to Beanie Babies! You can spend a lot or a little. It seems like there are endless vendors. We were exploring for at least an hour but you could spend hours in this maze! Lots of breakable items close to one another so I wouldn't recommend bringing younger children. Lovely for adults! The only real negative was that one of the ladies working at the counter was having a very loud conversation about a customer that she was very annoyed with for at least 10 minutes. It was a felt a little uncomfortable because you could hear it throughout the antique mall. That took away from the charm a bit. When checking out though, both of the ladies were super sweet and did a great job wrapping everything up. I'd definitely recommend stopping by, whether you're in the mood to browse and relax from a busy day or actively looking for things to add to a collection. Lots of parking. Go out and try looking for some treasures!
