This morning a flat bed tow truck pulled out of the Tower Automotive lot on Lamar about 4 seconds before an oncoming minivan was about to reach the driveway. I was behind the minivan which had to slam the brakes and swerve to avoid rear ending the truck which I'm sure does not have the acceleration needed to pull out in front of traffic and gain enough speed to avoid getting rear ended. I don't know if it was a ploy to get more customers i.e. smash their car and then offer to tow it for them or what. The best part was the fact that if he had waited until I and the minivan had passed there would have been no traffic on southbound Lamar for 3 blocks as there was no traffic behind us and he could have taken as much time as he wanted getting out of the driveway.

I scheduled a pickup of a vehicle I own with this company, on the day of the pickup I received a…read moretext message in the morning confirming my pickup for that day. The pickup time frame rolls around (12-4pm) and I wait and wait. Around 2:15 I message the person who set up my appointment to double check my pickup and he says to just "please call dispatch". So I do, they tell me "your pickup is set for 12-4 and it's not 4 yet, so they will come". I think you know what, that's fine I'll wait till the time frame ends. 4:00pm rolls around and I have not received the call I was told I would get 30 minutes prior to the pickup. At this point I send multiple messages to the person who assigned my pickup (at the time of writing have gone unanswered) I also call the dispatch line back and they say "oops we made a mistake but we can come pick it up in 4 days, that's our earliest opening" I told her I wouldn't do business with a company who disrespects the time of their customers and that they would not be getting my vehicle. I absolutely would not recommend using this company, it's probably good they are getting an updated review as the old ones must have been under different management.
