Very nice folks that have made some terrific improvements to what they have to offer. I was actually able to buy cilantro from them the other day. The wine and beer selection is pretty solid as well.

It's good for a quick snack or last minute shopping. The people are always friendly, though I wish it were closer to the Hill.

The validation has changed and it's a strange tablet situation where you hold the parking slip up to the camera and align the squares. It's tricky and usually people aren't there to explain it to you, so I've had to help a neighbor out myself. It is annoying to have your receipt checked. I know there have been issues with theft and I'm grateful that the entire store isn't locked down, but sheesh! This is not unique to this store though. It happens across this city. The pharmacy has been a positive experience, outside of the app not working. I stopped receiving app updates for renewing my medication. That was frustrating. The texts always come through though! If they aren't updated, I can call and ask and usually get through to them. I'll never understand the checkout line system. How do I put my cart on the opposite side of the grocery belt and still load the bags, etc.? I just do self check out!

This is also the best hack to avoid long lines. That being said, I usually drop by on a weekday. If I drive, it's usually pretty easy to find parking in the garage and it's easy to validate parking upon check out. I rarely get anything from the salad bar, but it looks pretty well kept and I often seeing the food being replenished and the perimeter being wiped down. They also have a nice little wine bar/cafe as well as ample outdoor seating for anyone that wanted to eat, drink and hangout. There was a time pre-Covid when I would order a glass bubbles and shop around with it for the novelty alone (but not sure if they still offer the pours to-go while shopping.) Overall though, the store is well-kept and I've really had no issues aside from high foot traffic!

I will never enter this store again and strongly recommend all to stay away from it if you are looking for courteous service. reasonable prices and good products. I frequently shop at Whole Foods market in Florida and always have very pleasant experience. In my opinion, this Navy Yard, Washington DC branch of Whole Foods market gives very bad reputation to and repulsive impression of Whole Foods brand and our nation's capital. Several other 'Zero to Two star" reviews to this store reiterate my experience at this store.

Posted hours for this special run until 7 pm. I stopped in at 6:05 pm last Monday and found that they only had thighs and wings. I was told that if I wanted more than two wings, I would be charged extra for reasons which were not clear. Eight pieces is eight pieces. If they are out of some of those pieces, one would expect to be able to substitute pieces they have for pieces which are sold out. I believe that the chicken cooking staff wanted to be able to begin their clean up processes early, so they could go home, and therefore refused to cook more, even though there was close to an hour before the end of the advertised special price. This seems very clearly to be a bait and switch situation, to put it kindly. I don't think it was store policy to stop preparing chicken early. I attribute it to lazy, uncaring staff. If they don't want to do their jobs an cook chicken, they should seek employment elsewhere. In the future, if I find them to be out of any of the chicken pieces, I will request a raincheck, so that I may come in at another time, on another day, at my convenience to buy the chicken that I, as a consumer, protected by law am entitled to.

I stopped in while in town for a convention and pick up a small haul. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the spirits they carry. The son of one of the owners is terrifically knowledgeable about agave spirits and a friend of one of the owners held it down on the whiskey side. They were generous in offering a tasting as they shared some stories behind some of the brands that they carry and queued me in to local spirits. They have an absolute banging selection for their intimate space along with curated food items to help you prepare for any gathering, large or small. It's a good thing I don't live near by, I'd stop in weekly! I left with a couple of bottles of whiskey, a clarin, some canned cocktails, their house-canned whiskey, a rum and some tequila the son sold me on as I was checking out. Again, he's very knowledgeable on agave spirits and has a great selection available. I'm also happy to support and buy from fellow HBCU grads and entrepreneurs. Next visit I'll be looking more into their wine selection. Can't wait to get back! Cheers.
