We had an 8 inch cutting cake and about 16 pies in four different flavors. She was able to bake them all in glass pie dishes so we could beautifully display them before and during the wedding. The hard part was narrowing down the options, because everything we tasted was outstanding. We ended up with macaroons, shortbread, hand pies, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, two different types of sandwich cookies, and glazed doughnuts with vanilla bean cream. Months after our wedding, our friends and family still rave to us about those doughnuts! Our only regret is that we didn't save a couple of them for ourselves, because they went fast. Shiel was incredibly professional and easy to work with, and we were excited to be able to support and up-and-coming Vermont baker.
