Bought my car here. And I love it. The salesperson was very patient with me as we moved from lot to lot, looking for my next ride. She knew what she was doing and didn't waste my time. And she was really easy on the eyes. I am satisfied with the purchase. However... They detailed the car, which is fine. But the visit was an incredible 3.5 hours!! I spent most of that sitting in the lobby waiting my ass off. I'm a Ford fan so I was dead set on getting my car there. But damn! I've bought cars in my lifetime within 2 hours! Worse, I gave them a $250 max cap or no deal. I ended up paying $280 a month. By then, I just didn't want to look for a car anymore, so I ate it. read more

I went here looking for a very specific used vehicle they had on the lot. I test drove it, we talked about numbers and at the end of the day, they did not want to meet me at my number. I had already done my due diligence before walking into the dealership, between pricing and trade in values, and the reality is I could pay less for the same vehicle, same year with half the miles and still get a better trade value for my own car. They did give me the mock-up of the paperwork to take with me while I did my own due diligence. Kudos to Dave and his Sales manager for allowing me to keep that information. I have had two experiences with the used car division. One, not bad at all. We went on a test-drive and I was under no pressure. The second... not so great. The sales-person simply said, "come on inside" to the trailer. I sat in an office, he produced a pad of forms, slid it over and asked me to sign. I did not even review the document, I simply said, "I'm not ready to sign anything right now." The salesman shrugged, and said he wouldn't be able to help me. I haven't been able to get a clear answer regarding what I was asked to sign, but I believe it may have been a contract that would have allowed them to share my information with a 3rd party--i.e. anyone willing to bombard me with junk mail/telemarketing calls, et cetera. My wife and I bought a 2014 Ford Explorer in 2015. We purchased an 125,000 bumper to bumper extended warranty with it. This was also the second vehicle that we had purchased from them. Anytime something has been wrong with the Explorer, which has been often, they have refused to fixed it. Now the front passenger door as popped up and is blocked some of my wifes view. This is not covered and they want me to pay $600 for a replacement. ' I have called Ford Motor Co and they just turn their noises up at me and say well it really isn't a bumper to bumper like we state. Fast forward to this past Tuesday, I was due for an oil change and decided to try the Quick Lane at Capital Ford and holy cow what an awesome experience. They do not take appointments; however, I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Worst customer service ever. The finance manager Vick super shady!!!! Purchased a 2018 Ford escape with 10k miles Certified Pre owned great deal but wait!!! I'm driving down the road on a Friday I hear a loud noise from underneath the car. As I look its the big plastic cover scraping the ground. I pull in a gas station tell the guy to fix the noise until Monday. No problem, fixed. They tell me it's not covered because he cut the part. I'm like if he did cut the part it was out of necessity and how I going to drive for next 72hrs? He cut the part because it was build Ford Tough and it never breaks. Lol. Long story short, this Ford provided me a dreadful experience. Perhaps others have had better experiences here, but personally I think this dealership is the worst. After a minor driving incident, I needed to tow my car and drop it off at Capital Ford late at night. The next morning, after I didn't receive any call from Ford about my vehicle, I called them at 10am. They couldn't locate my car for two hours...so you can imagine my anxiety. I called them back at 12 - and they told me they finally found my car...which blows my mind! How do you find my car and NOT think to call me? Anyway, they continue telling me that the service advisor would call me back in 30 minutes. So I called back at 1 - one hour later - and the receptionist told me again the advisor would call me back in 30 minutes. So I called back at 2 - an hour later - and the receptionist told me AGAIN that the advisor needed 30 more minutes! Finally at 5pm, I had enough and showed up at the Ford dealership myself. The advisor was apparently at lunch (at 5pm???) and - voila - 20 minutes later, he calls me in to see my car. It appears that my car wasn't seen or checked out until I physically showed up at the dealership. I was able to drive my car back home on my way out of Ford around 5:30pm. Terrible, terrible service. Oh, and nobody thought to apologize to me. Nobody thought to say "sorry for the inconvenience". I've never experienced such horrific customer service. Needless to say, I'm never going back there with my car. I'd like to think my car and I (we're a tag team) deserve better treatment! read more

Went there for an oil change on May 8. I was asked if I wanted a tire rotation. I said "no." Service was completed in about an hour then I went to pay. I was told $50 and some change. I said what about the $39.95 oil change I see advertised. The service associate Stewart said, "I asked you if you wanted a tire rotation." I asked what that had to do with an oil change. He said that it's part of the "Works" 39.95 special, along with an "additive" for the oil. I told him that he didn't say anything about the "Works" special but only asked me if I wanted a tire rotation. He said that he did tell me, but I know for a fact that he didn't. Once I mentioned calling the Service Manager, he changed his tune and said it would be about the same anyway because I would have to pay for the extra quart of oil since the special was only for 5 quarts. I had also gotten a service recall service completed there about five months earlier on my cruise control. Recently, my cruise control stopped working. I asked if they could check it out to which he answered that the labor rate is about $100 per hour. I asked if they would charge me that just to check it out. He answered Yes. I will never go here again for an oil change, or any other service. read more

Capital Ford was the worst experience I have ever had at a repair shop! Stay far away from this place. I had new adjustable shocks,steering stabilizer and tires put on my truck. The mechanic installed the adjustable shocks wrong and had an attitude that I brought the truck back to them. Less than 48 hours later one of the shocks had fallen down. The mechanic did not put any nuts on the stabilizer shocks. The real scary part is the tie rod nut was hanging by a thread. This place is going to get someone killed. HORRENDOUS Dealership! Worst experience ever! DO NOT BUY HERE. Unreasonable, intolerant, and downright nasty. These people have a chip on their shoulder. I am out of the country and wanted to buy a car from their lot. They said I was taking too long (3 weeks). They couldn't just say, "Hey dude, we certainly hope the car is here in three weeks, unfortunately, we can't hold it for that long. We look forward to working with you." Nooo! They had to lecture me, the customer! They told me in a very mean tone that they had to have a two-thousand-dollar NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to hold the car. What kind of policy is that? Who would pay a $2,000, nonrefundable deposit to hold a car they haven't seen? I'm sure they were hoping that the slightest thing would go wrong so they could keep my money! These people are morons, idiots, who claim that they sell too many cars and don't need to bother with people like me. I hope that many people read this and decide to buy a car somewhere else. read more

I only came into the Quick Service center at this location. I leased my Ford in Philadelphia in July, and 8000 miles later I figured I better get my oil changed. I had gone to Jiffy Lube previously, but they were not sure how to open my hood (and frankly neither was I) so I figured I should take it to the dealership to be safe. As it turned out, popping the hood was just a matter of applying a bit of force, and the Quick Service rep who helped me had it open in five seconds - how embarrassing for me and Jiffy Lube. I was surprised the auto shop was so busy for 9 a.m. on a Saturday, but the man at the desk warned me a few people were ahead in line and that it should take about 45 minutes to and hour and 15 for everything to be done. I did not mind waiting, especially since I came without an appointment or calling ahead. The man offered to walk me to the dealership lobby, where I could grab a coffee and watch TV, but I figured I would sit and Yelp instead. The friendly men in the shop complemented my TMNT pajama pants and made friendly conversation whenever they were in the waiting office. A short 32 minutes later, someone was back to check me out. I was so happy it went even faster than they estimated. They charged me just under $40 - more than Jiffy Lube would have been with my coupon, but still reasonable. They promptly texted me a receipt, handed me my keys, and had me back on the road by 9:43. I can't think any way the oil change could have gone more smoothly. read more

Update: Since my original review, I was contacted by their Director of Business Development and the Sales Manager from the time of visit within a couple days of posting the review. They profusely apologized and expressed a desire to make it right. At that time, I had high hopes to write an updated review with something positive to say - unfortunately you can see that's not the case. I talked with them about what I'm looking for and they assured me they would do everything they could to find me a vehicle at a great price - I was excited! James M seemed genuinely interested in helping. Within minutes he sent me a vehicle that looked perfect but then later said he couldn't get it at the right price. Several days went by, no update. No big deal, I called in to see how the search was going since I had found several vehicles on my own that closely matched what I was looking for. The sales guy (James M) re-asked me what I was looking for and said he would find out what he could do. That was about a month ago and I haven't heard anything from anyone even to let me know they are still looking or to check in with me. I think they initially did want to help if it was a quick fix but wasn't interested in genuinely helping me find what I was looking for when it took real effort.. read more

First I must say that this review falls into two parts. First for service then for Sales. Back in 2010 my wife and I purchased a 2010 Ford Escape from a salesman named Edwin. This vehicle promised many bells and whistles for a great life span but sort of delivered until about 10,000 miles prior to our paid service plan. It was then that we realized our car needed more repairs than we were able to handle. So off to the service department we went. At Capital fords service department we were told that the light bulbs needed to be replaced. (Side Note this would be the third time in one year that a dealer replaced my bulbs) I was also informed that I needed new brakes and that my tires were close to needing to be replaced. No worries I mentioned my service plan and scheduled an appointment. At the appointment I learned that my brakes were not really that bad. This upset me because had I not been in a service plan and had I not known what to look for I would have dished out a pretty amount of money. Therefore for service on that event I would have given a 2 star review, but wait Capital Ford finds redemption. About two months ago I returned to Ford due to my throttle body having problems and sure enough it was recalled. An appointment was scheduled and they informed me that I would need a rental. This also upset me because I was tight on funds and lived further away than I cared to walk. So I called enterprise and scheduled a pick up only to find out that Ford rents cars also. Therefore I canceled my rental and proceeded to rent form Ford. After finishing the paperwork and getting ready to look at the car the service manager stopped me and stated that they could fix my car in less than an hour. So I canceled that rental and dined in at Capital Fords amazing continental breakfast snack station. Needless to say the service took a turn for the better and I was driving away with one less debt. That day the review would climb to 4 stars. Now fast forward to Sunday night. My beautiful wife mentions that she may consider getting a new car due to the many problems that our current escape has gone through. We knew that we were facing new brakes, various repairs out of pocket and also the fact that we were unable to afford the many upcoming repairs. So we pulled into the lot and met Charlie Parrot. The next day Charlie assisted us in finding an amazing escape that my wife loves greatly. However I am not sure I like paying an extra twenty dollars per month but I am determined to pay greater than what is due to always stay in the positive for equity. Charlie assisted us to the best of his ability and even offered to teach us as much as he could about our new car. For his service and His alone I give five stars. Now remember I have to average the overall score and that is how I come to four stars. read more

When I was looking for a new car, I visited several dealerships, since no one place in Raleigh had all of the models on the lot that I wanted to test drive. Ted Cecil, the salesman I encountered at Capital, was the only one who had made the effort to get to know the new hybrid and "energi" models beyond the brochure copy. He helped answer all of my questions and did more on the test drive than jabber about sports or politics like salespeople at the other dealers had. So, for Ted, five stars. For Capital, four - mostly because of the number of phone calls and emails I received after visiting the showroom. That and the hard sell I was given by the finance guys on on extended protection plans, even though I made it clear I had already worked one out with my insurance company. read more

I brought my car in for a break job on a Friday. This brake job would have taken my boyfriend 30 minutes but because it is a company car I have to take it to an approved location. I have been without this car going on six days with not one callback from Ford to let me know what is going on although I have called them numerous times to get a status. They don't seem to care that I am frustrated beyond belief because nobody has kept in contact with me to tell me what is going on with the car. We went to Capital Ford to test drive a used car. Donalius met us at the door. He was very happy to help us and immediately retrieved the car we were interested in. He was upbeat and great to deal with the entire time we test drove the car and then proceeded to buy it. It did seem to take forever (in actuality, it was about 2 hours) for the car to get cleaned up and washed one last time. I recently helped my mother in law buy a new car. We had a bad experience with a slacker salesman with an attitude at Crossroads Ford when we stopped by to get a ball park on what they would give her for her 2007 Cadillac. Long story short, if we weren't going to buy something THAT day, he wasn't interested in talking with us...Thats Crossroads, not Capital. At Capital, we called them and told them what we had to trade and Terry Sharpe gave me a ball park range, which is all I wanted. From that point on, Terry made sure that we had a pleasant experience. The rest of the folks at Capital seemed very nice as well. They didn't pressure us in any way, yet let us know what her options for financing, extended warranty, etc. were. She loves the car (a 2013 Taurus Limited) and I have to say, that it's not your uncle's Taurus! Ford did a good job on this car! read more

For this review, I will only speak of my experience here twice. I called this dealership ahead of time to see if service could see me that day due to my AC not properly working in my 2015 Ford Mustang GT. I was notified by the lady I can take my vehicle to the quick lane for assistance today and that service does not have any current available appointments for today. I made it well-known to her it was my AC I was concerned about. Once I arrived to quick lane for assistance (after driving in my car for 20 minutes w/out AC), I was informed they cannot help me despite what I was told. They further stated the lady I talked to was new and does not know what she was talking about. They then gave me a card with the number to call to make an appointment, so I did right then. Appointment was made the following day and was told to drop it off at 8am.. so I had to coordinate with my bf to drop me off/take me to work/etc. We were notified around 11:30am the entire AC Unit has to be replaced and for that to happen, the dashboard and seats have to be removed. I was quoted 1900. We told them No and not to continue any service on my vehicle. Also when we dropped off the vehicle, we were not informed of an estimate of the cost. When my bf talked to some service guy on the phone and requested to speak to the mechanic, he continued to say no and that the mechanic was not available. When we arrived, they continued to tell us the mechanic guy was not available to discuss this with us or explain how they found a leak. We don't even think they did a pressure test or even lifted up my hood. The service guy said there were 2 more mustang GTs there with the same issue that were getting worked on... so I think they just assumed, Oh hey another mustang, let's charge them 1900 to get it fixed when all I needed was my AC refilled. I was actually told the mechanic "assumed" there was a leak and did not physically see it. They did NOT charge us for this assumption-inspection- even though the sheet they printed out was around 143 dollars. If that was the case, then I would have talked to the manager but I think the guy knew that. So Thanks for not charging us, that's the only pro I could say about this incident. I took my car to another shop (Beacon Lake Auto Repair) with great customer service and experience and wa-la, I was only charged for 80 something bucks because as we thought, the AC had no visible leak and only needed to be recharged/filled (WHICH FORD DID NOT DO- They didn't even ask us if we wanted them to fill the AC unit in- which would have at least given me ONE more day of AC even if there's a "little leak")... I told them at Ford I've driven my car for 60k miles in Arizona with hot summers, which means I used the AC all the time. Beacon Lake Auto Shop also ran a pressure test and the pressure was fine. There might be a very, very, very little leak somewhere but it is not visible or a concern at this time. So until Ford does a recall (because my car is 2k over the warranty), I'm not going to concern myself with throwing 1900 to the ford dealership when they didn't provide adequate customer service or proper inspection of the vehicle. So honestly, unless you are under warranty- I would go to another shop like Beacon Lake Auto Repair or somewhere else to your liking. Don't bother with ford dealership. read more

Went in originally to buy a certified used F-150. That one was sold by the time I got there but through some instant rebates from Ford and a generous trade in offer given that my car had previously been in an accident, I was able to get into a new F-150 instead. Shaun the salesman was great to work with and even followed up several times to check in and see how I liked the truck. A few days after I bought it, I realized that the extended warranty I selected was sold for much cheaper online. I went back to Capital Ford looking to cancel the warranty or at the very least match the price I found online. Lew, the finance manager agreed to redo the contract with the service agreement at the price I found. Dealing with car dealers can be painful sometimes especially when trying to go back and cancel a service contract since they will potentially lose commission. But everyone I dealt with at Capital Ford was pleasant to work with and I feel satisfied with my purchase and would consider buying another vehicle from them in the future. read more

I bought a vehicle on Nov 20. First the dealership would not honor the price on their website. When the sale was final, I was then told the car came with only one key and if I wanted another it would be $250. Thirty days later, the temporary plates expired and I was told they would overnight me new ones and in the same breath said the title had to come from Alaska and with holidays approaching the mail would be really slow but it WILL be here by the end of the year. The end of the year produced no title but I was told it should be here before the temporary runs out. The temporary is 2 days away from running out and no plate. I own this vehicle, no lien, but I have no title. This is illegal business practices. I tried calling several times but was always given an answering machine. |i had to keep calling back and telling the operator to give me a real person. read more

This review is for the service location across the street from the dealership. Painfully slow. I'm not sure why I'm even asked to schedule an appointment if every time I bring in my car for regular service (oil change and general look over) I have to wait almost 3 hours. If it was only a time or two I can accept that, but in the 2 years since I purchased a new car across the street I have never been in and out for an oil change in less than 2 hours. Two stars only because the work done is no problem, otherwise I would stick with one star because of the never ending wait times. I see plenty of customers with no appointment come in and seem to be helped just as swiftly. If I had not signed up, and already paid for a service plan when I bought the car I'm sure I would head elsewhere. In my car quest, Capital Ford was dealership #1 that I visited. I went there on January 17, 2011. I went there with my own financing and an idea of what I wanted, but really wanting to talk and browse. This was really just my first foray into dealing with the dealers on this car quest and meant to be a learning experience since it had been 4 years since I'd been car shopping. I'm no stranger to dealerships since I've bought two cars on my own, but I had a feeling that time around I'd have to be ready to play hardball. I walked up to the dealership and said to the first salesman, "I am not here to make a decision or even buy today. I just want to talk and discuss my options." I also told him I was interested in checking out Escapes, but NOT new ones. He introduced himself as Jimmie White. First Jimmie showed me a Suzuki Grand Vitara which I said was nice but wanted to see what was on the lot and was not interested in Suzukis. We rode around the lot and he showed me a few Escapes (none in my price range or with low enough miles), but then proceeded to show me all these other random cars that were not on my list of anything I was even remotely interested in. We went back inside and he handed me a brochure for the Suzuki Kizashi to take a look at and walked off after taking my keys to pass on for an appraisal. A little while later a guy named Adrienne Wilkerson came by and spoke to me for a few minutes since Jimmie had just abandoned me in a corner. I walked back to the main lobby so I could be near the other people rather than sitting at a table all by myself. Adrienne came back and asked me a question occasionally. Eventually I realized Jimmie White was helping someone else because Adrienne was now the one helping me. Jimmie never even told me he had an appointment. He'd just disappeared. Adrienne seemed pretty nice and apologized for the wait on the appraisal. The dealership spokesman kept stopping by to chat me up and keep me entertained and/or keep my water filled. Eventually Adrienne came back with my keys and appraisal. They were offering me a little over half of the trade-in value (not even close to my debt) on my Ford Explorer. Then he put 2 estimates in front of me for a 2011 Ford Escape and 2011 Grand Vitara -- both coming out well over $22K. At this point I told him I was very upset. I realized I'd been there for nearly 2 hours and thought the delay was on the appraisal of MY car, not them giving me a workup on 2 brand new cars when that's NOT what I wanted. Unbelievable!!! I told Adrienne that I was very upset and angry that my time had been wasted when I'd been very clear about what I wanted: a discussion and what I did NOT want: a new car or a purchase THAT day. I realized that Jimmie White had not communicated with Adrienne before dumping me on him so it wasn't entirely his fault, but I was pretty pissed because Adrienne could have done his homework himself. Adrienne seemed like a genuinely nice guy who'd clearly been misinformed by Jimmie. I asked why I hadn't been shown cars IN my price range even if they weren't there because they could pull them from other locations! He wanted to show me some online, but at that point I was even more upset because I was holding up a friend AND dinner plans! After I left I called to complain to the manager and confirm that the people there hadn't run my credit (I had my own financing) since they'd done a bunch of other things I hadn't asked. It was confirmed that no my credit had not been run and they apologized for Jimmie ditching me and Adrienne not being aware of what I was there for. Jimmie White then proceeded to call me the following day to "make nice" to which I told him I did not have any more time to waste when I'd already wasted 2 hours there the night before. That week he emailed me 5 times trying to coerce me to return to the dealership or give him my business telling me he had a car for me to see, but even though I asked never once did he send me a link or give me specifics on the cars he was talking about. I asked several times for him to give me a link or something to look at, but he skirted around my requests every single time!!! The runaround and STILL wasting my time. This dealership has a LOT of work to do in terms of listening to their potential clients, communicating clearly, and following directions not to mention not wasting people's time. Absolutely ridiculous and one of the worst experiences I've EVER had at a dealership, if not the absolute worst. read more

Told me the car would be covered (Oil, parts, labor, rotors, ect.) and when I bought it to mini to get worked on this morning it turns out, it was not. It turns out that they didnt check out the car before they sold it to me, the break pads and rotors needed to be changed and I've had the car less than a month. Do not trust these guys. I am ever so sorry that I bought my car here. I bought a 2015 Ford Focus with 2 recalls . when I called to have the TCM recall feature fixed they told me their transmission mechanic was on a leave due to an emergency. PS my car died on the roadside the next day. I had to have my car towed locally as it costs money to get it towed and brought it to AAA. Triple-A said the car died due to the problem of the TCM, not battery problem. I needed a car to get to work and Capital Ford did not have a loaner so I had to rent a car. So between AAA towing and the loaner car, this cost me 200.00. Capital Ford will not reimburse me 200.00 even though the car was under recall. The car still runs crappy. Worst dealership experience ever. read more

Typically I hate car dealerships and the runaround associated with them, but I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover. I had a great experience with Capital Ford even though I ended up not actually buying a car from them. I mainly dealt with Ed Barnes who is the internet sale representative. He treated me with the utmost respect and always returned my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. One of the things that impressed me most was after test driving the car I was interested in, Ed let me take it home for a couple days to save my wife from having to drive all the way out to Capital from Cary. I have never heard of a dealer doing such a thing. When I returned the car and informed them that it wasn't what I was looking for, there were no hard feelings and Ed invited me to ping them if I was ever interested again. I recently brought my diesel truck in for repair, unknown issue with the engine but it wouldn't start so I had it towed in. Took them a couple days to look at it, and when they finally got to it what would you know but it started right up. I explained the circumstances under which the problem occurred and asked them to try to diagnose but since it does not generate a fault code (initiate a check engine light) they "couldn't recommend any repairs or do anything to help me". I'm sorry, but aren't mechanics supposed to troubleshoot problems and figure out what's wrong and not just hook-up a computer and read a code from a screen.? I offered to compensate their time, but "without a code they would be wasting their time trying". Terrible. I guess I will just have to go find a real mechanic who actually wants to help me find a solution to my problem. Thanks for wasting MY time and $107 of MY money CRAPital Ford. read more

Now here's a little story I got to tell About some bad service you know so well It started way back in history It involved Captial Ford, my Fusion, and me, (Beastie Boys) Note: the word "service" is used with air quotes I stopped on July 24th at 6:30 to schedule a "service" appointment for my Fusion. I explained the parts needed to the "service" person; 2 pigtail connectors (headlight & taillight), 1 taillight assembly. The service person explained that I would have to come back tomorrow and talk with the parts department to see if those are available at the warehouse, etc. Thus no appointment was scheduled. I returned on July 25th about 11 AM and spoke with the parts department. The parts guy was helpful, letting me know the parts are in the warehouse and they could have them dropped off at the service center within a 1-2 hours, except they close the warehouse at 5/5:30 pm. Terrific, they have the parts, so I stride on over to the "service" department to schedule a "service" appointment. They let me know that I can't schedule a "service" appointment at the "service" department (how ignorant of me), I have to call and make an appointment with the group that handles scheduling. The "service" department makes the call and I get on the phone with the "service" scheduling person. I explain that it needs 1 front driver headlight pigtail connector, 1 rear driver taillight pigtail connector, and 1 rear driver taillight assembly. The response, "so it needs a headlight and a taillight bulb." I correct the error and again explain what it needs. Feeling confident this information will be used, I get a "service" appointment scheduled for 8am Tuesday July 29. On Monday July 28, I get the standard conformation of appointment phone call, which I confirm. About 30 minutes later I get another call, the sales pitch. "Sir, I see you have a low mileage Fusion, we would love to have that on our used car lot. We would love to help you out. Can you talk to our guy and we can see about...something..something...New Car." I'm not interested, I don't want a new car, and you're not doing me a favor. "Can I ask why?" Anyway I waste a couple of minutes explaining I don't need a new car, and finally hang up. Tuesday July 29 I drop off car for "service" at 8:30am. My "service" person is the "service manager." He looks over the paperwork for a headlight replacement; of course scheduling service didn't get it. I explain that's wrong, and tell him the needed parts. He tells me "that's unusual, we'll take a look at it and let you know what we find out." At 2pm I call for an update, no answer. Then I call at 2:55, 3:08, 3:37, 3:38 & 4:01, still no answer and voicemail was left for them to call. At 4:30 I call the main "service" number. They tell me the "service" manager is in the shop and will get back to me quickly. At 5:30 I still haven't heard from the "service" manager, so I call again, no answer. I call the main "service" number again being assured he is on his way to his desk. I finally get a call at 5:38, where he proceeds to tell me my car needs "2 pigtail connectors (headlight & taillight), 1 taillight assembly." Ya, I know that, I told you guys 5 times it needs that. So I tell him, I'll pick the car up and bring it back tomorrow. "We will have it out front for you." I get there about 6:30, car not out front, they finally bring it around, and I bounce out. Wednesday July 30 I drop my car off at 9:30 am. Re-explaining to "service" people I'm here for the work you didn't do in 10hrs time yesterday. No comment from the "service" manager. Now I know my little story sounds well rehearsed Six days I been trying to get service and now I'm dying of thirst I snatched a 90 calorie Dr Pepper from the fridge, pushed the service people off my tip My voice is hoarse, my throat is dry, and I walked over to work while I waited for my ride read more

This review is for the Quick Lane part of Capital Ford on Capital Blvd. I just want to say that every single time i've taken my car to the Quick Lane for oil change, brakes, tire check, etc the guys there have been exceptionally friendly and professional. Especially Duane and Chris. I am thoroughly impressed with them and how they have treated me, and i've seen how they treat other customers. Always very helpful, informative, honest, professional, and friendly. I'm moving to Nevada in a couple of months and I hope I find folks like them in Nevada. My review is kind of a mixed bag. I've been looking for a Ford Explorer Sports Trac for a couple of years. I had a 2001 and loved it. Both the Ford dealerships in Raleigh and Durham had 2005 models. The one at capital in Raleigh listed numerous extras that the one in Durham did not have. Also, employees of the Raleigh dealership are clients of mine, so my thought was to support those who support me. I went to see the truck. It was in pretty good shape. A couple of issues, but nothing I couldn't live with. There was, however, on thing that was stated on the internet that it had and didn't, a bed extender cage. When I asked about this I was told it was most likely in the show and they would look for it. So I signed the paperwork and went home to pick up my wife so she could drive my car back home and I could drive the truck. I came back, still no extender cage, but I'd give the salesman some time to find it and I'd check in the following week. I got home and went through my paperwork and realized they had not given me the pass-code for the key-less entry system. So on Monday, I emailed the salesmen about the extender cage and the keypad code.....a week later he responded! Apparently he went on vacation the day after I bought my truck. Sorry, no extender cage...but you might find one on Ebay cheaper that what we can sell you one (brand new they are over $300.00). And, the keypad, well just go to the service center and they can scan the ODB and get that for you......I went three times, they wanted me to leave the truck for a couple of hours for something that admittedly would take all of 30 seconds! The bottom line...once I signed the papers and left their dealership...they could have cared less. The dealership is six blocks away from my office, but I will take it to the Ford dealership 30 miles away from where I live before I go back there. read more
