I can't say enough good things about my experience with Capital Powder Coating. I came to them for help restoring an antique designer outdoor dining set after trying for days to chemically and physically strip the frames myself. I was then planning on re-coating everything with spray enamel paint and clear coat to save on costs before regaining my sanity, throwing in the towel and deciding to seek the help of seasoned professionals. After doing the research I should have done before I started, I learned how much more durable and better looking the results would be with professional sandblasting and powder coating so I started looking for a service in my area. Thats how I found Capital Powder Coating, and boy oh boy am I glad I did. This was my first experience getting anything powder coated. Aside from being extremely professional, communicative and dedicated to their craft, Gary and Jenny are both very lovely, kind and helpful by nature. They were so friendly and patient answering any and all questions I had about the process. They explained everything in depth, helped guide me in deciding on color and finish and even went as far as working with me on great price. Jenny helped with the initial quote, kept me updated on everything with texts and was always quick to respond when I texted. Gary picked-up and delivered my items himself and helped carry everything to and from my back yard. It was instantly clear upon delivery that they put the time and care into stripping and coating my items as if they were their own. I had this old rusted out mace, and rather than throwing it in the landfill, I had Capital Powder Coating refinish it for me. Textured coatings work best to help you grip and slide your hands along the mace, so we ended up using this textured powder coating. The powder coating matches the sample exactly, but we were all surprised at how bright the blue looked once it was over a large surface. It looks and works perfectly! It's a family run business and the staff were super nice and helpful. They answered all my questions, explained the process, and were patient the entire time. I wanted to see some more samples that they didn't have in stock, so they ordered all the extra samples that I wanted to see and the powder company shipped them overnight to me at no extra cost. When they ran into a problem and realized that an end cap was plastic and would have to be replaced, they called me to tell me the options. Their replacement end cap that they made looked like it was an original part of the steel mace. They warranty their work for one year, so they said if I get any chips or have problems with the powder coating, I could bring it back and they would repair it for no extra charge. read more

I've been bringing various motorcycle parts to Gary over the past year to get coated. Between several bike projects always going at once, he's probably costed three dozen or so bike components, including cylinders and heads. His work is impcable, he always turns them around within the week and his pricing beats everyone else in the area.
