Coffee shop within bank
Jyrki P.

Practical concept for a coffee shop that is within a bank -- or perhaps the bank is within the coffee shop. Either way, craving espresso while spending some spare time at the mall, this place provided just about perfect spot to sip quite tasty Verve coffee. Friendly and professional barista, and if in a mood for respective bank's services, it is straightforward to combine these two needs. The ambiance is interesting; modern yet cosy design with couple of quiet rooms available for remote work, whereas the bank portion is kind of hidden yet easily reachable through customer service reps. Next time, I'll bring the operating bank's card with me to get 50% off.

I continue to be a Capital One stan so I loved to see that there was a cafe in the Scottsdale mall nexts to where I was staying. I stopped in a couple times on my trip for a pick me up cherry vanilla matcha latte and it was delicious! Not too sweet with a light cherry flavor. The staff here are so friendly too. I've never really made use of the in store banking services but I love that they have these especially since they don't have traditional banking locations. There's lot of seating in here to work, including a few private nooks which I recently learned you can book right in the app! Looking forward to my next visit.

This was my first time here. The line was long, so I expected the coffee to be good. Spoiler alert... It wasn't! I ordered a chai latte with oat milk, two shots of espresso, and one pump of vanilla (because the barista said that their chai is spicy not sweet). The drink was watery and not very creamy. I ended up drinking half of it then tossing it. The good news is drinks are half off for eligible credit card holders, and they have small enclosed offices where you can work quietly. The inside of the café is modern.

Sometimes I cheat on Nordstrom coffee shop and chill here. I like capital cafe more and more. The baristas are always friendly and they have avacado toast now and a few other eatings. I generally get a pastry or muffin and coffee. Today I had ice tea. It's a really spacious cafe and modern decor. Plus you can go in the Apple Store a few steps down. If you have to wait in line at Apple for your appt - you can hang at this cafe. If you pay w your capital one credit card, coffees are HALF OFF. Such a great deal. You'll like this cafe, stop in next time you're here. Their bank is in here too so if you have money and account questions, you can talk to a bank rep

Matcha with strawberry cold foam

On Mondays, up until 9/22/2025 - any handcrafted drink is free (with the pass) I stopped by yesterday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Most of the tables were taken by people working on their computers and a few were just waiting for their drinks. The inside felt very welcoming and was clean. There were several banking employees standing around willing to assist with banking questions. The cashier was very friendly. I ordered a small matcha with strawberry cold foam and it was delicious! The menu has quite the selection which also includes food.

As a non Capital One card owner, I've never felt the urge to try out their cafes, but on a random trip to Fashion Square with a gal pal who happens to be a card owner, we stopped by for the first time on a Saturday for an afternoon pick me up! All Capital One customers get 50% a handcrafted drink. We browsed the menu and opted to share one of their Seasonal Sips: the Cinnamon maple iced latte w/ cold foam, $6.75 for 16 oz. After the 50% off discount, it ended up being $4.18 after tax but before tip. WOW. That drink was packed with potent, delicious flavors. The coffee wasn't incredibly strong but wasn't weak either. Overall, everything blended together perfectly. The interior of the cafe was spacious and perfect for WFH or studying. You can even reserve a private nook for FREE as a card holder! Just scan the QR code and go from there. As a non card holder, I'm not sure if there's a way to access it through the app too... Overall, delicious coffee and a beautiful interior. Would come back with a card holder friend to continue taking advantage of their 50% off deal and get some productivity done. Personally, I don't like that it's in a mall and would prefer it to be stand-alone because I believe it would be easier to access and much more quiet and the coffee is quality enough to speak for itself.

Strawberry lemonade

The café was really cool, especially if you wanted to get work done they had these little pods that you can go into that are quiet and there are many tables and chairs around if you don't get a pod. The service was good, like a regular coffee shop and I really like that even if you don't have a capital one card you can get the three months of free drinks if you are a Discover cardholder. The only thing that was not good was the coffee. It tasted almost sour. The good news is I was able to throw it away and the girl recommended a strawberry lemonade instead which was fantastic. The nice part is if you have the free three months, you can get as many drinks as you want in one sitting. They do not have a bathroom within the café and you actually have to go to Shake shack around the corner for the nearest bathroom. It's within fashion Square mall but on a Sunday afternoon the parking is a nightmare. Overall, it was a really nice place to meet up with friends and chat and it looks like a good place to get worked done if needed

Matcha latte

Drinks themselves are a hit or miss. One really good hit is a matcha latte with honey and lavender syrup. The matcha is no longer on the forefront as the honey and lavender take the stage flavor-profile wise. The matcha flavor is subtle but present. This drink is especially good for those who don't like matcha that much but want to try to get themselves to like it. Even people around here who don't like matcha like their matcha lattes this way. Definitely a sweet treat! Seasonal drinks are not that great, but they change often so if you feel adventurous, I would recommend taking a look! This is a really good work station at this beautiful recently redeveloped indoor mall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. Clean location, and lots of seating. It is a good place to work and enjoy a latte.

This is a great place to beat the heat. What an awesome idea. I am a card holder and I love the fact that they give you 50% off for using your card. They also have these quiet pods that you can reserve if you need to study and have quiet time. It's also a bank! This is located near the Apple store in the mall. Our server was cool and the coffee was good.

Found this cafe next to the mall and had a great time chatting with the employees and enjoying a summer spritz before heading into the mall.

Verve, Vuori, Versache. Fashion square has it all. Verve coffee at the Cap1 Cafe is the cherry on top. This cafe is relatively clandestine and under the radar as it's on the far E end of fashion square. Great drinks, cool atmosphere, priced just right. Worth a stop shopping or not.

Coffee shop and workspaces.

Saw they also offer pastries and paninis, although did not try any. PLENTY of seating, both tables/chairs, and a few couches spread throughout - in the general coffee bar area, to the side in the walkway, as well as behind the coffee bar. Large water dispenser if you are feeling dehydrated. Wifi is on a board behind the counter. A couple floor outlets in the front area, with more outlets in the area in the back if you need a charge. Stayed after and worked for 6+ hrs, up until they closed at 6pm. Single bathroom in the back - not the cleanest throughout the day, but got the job done. Left smelling like delicious coffee. Went outside to work and while on the phone with my client, accidentally spilled my entire coffee. Only had one sip of it. I was so bummed, went up to let them know I spilled on accident, and to see if I can get another. She went to the terminal and rang me in another $9, while seeing my entire coffee was on the floor. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way, and I told her nevermind... I left and got another drink at Sip Coffee. I wasn't going to spend $18 on coffee there. Even with it being my fault, in customer service, that's not the right thing to do at all. Not in this economy! I also posted about my disappointment on my IG story and they saw my story and had an opportunity to make things right but they still chose not to! There are so many other wonderful coffee shops in Old Town who absolutely would never do this. Go to Brightside Cafe, Berdena's or Fourtillfour instead. All amazing options, and better coffee!! :)

The establishment is small but the wait was not long. We were seated in about 10 minutes and I could've spent the night there. My husband had to convince me to go home. LOL. The first round we had the "secret" menu item which was the carrot cake martini and old fashion espresso. They were delicious. We also had a banana bread martini, thin mint martini, and PB & J. I definitely had a second carrot cake, it was my favorite. I don't know if they're that strong of drinks or maybe it was because we spent a good 2-3 hours here, but they were delicious nonetheless. This is a small, well decorated cafe/bar in a pretty Scottsdale shopping area. Also, service is a bit unusual as you're sat down but to order, you have to go to the bar rather than have a waiter take your order. I tried out a Salt de Caramel which is one of their specialty alcoholic drinks and a ham and cheese croissant. This cost me $27.01. The alcoholic beverage was well presented and tasted nice. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and soft. Surprisingly enough, this restaurant also sells various snacks that you would normally find in a small convenience store.
