Specifically, their ability and willingness to support patients who are in acute severe pain is disgustingly lacking. Although there are appointments available within 2 days, I'm going to have to wait up to 2 weeks for my referral for pain management to be processed. Even if it was processed in one day, those appointments that are available in 2 days from now will be gone.... I have excellent insurance, no pre-authorization is required for this service, my insurance doesn't require I get a referral. He showed the right balance of technical knowledge, compassion, empathy, and humility. He demonstrated considerable patience, as he didn't try to rush me through my appointment. He came across as deeply curious, a good listener, and a problem solver. He has an easy-going, affable, and approachable personality. I appreciate the fact that we share the same philosophy on health maintenance. He is far from the pill-pushing doctors that are far too common in the medical field. Instead, he understands the underlying factors that contribute to illness. He encourages smart lifestyle choices (stress reduction, healthy diet, proper sleep, and regular exercise) to stave off chronic illness and help live a happy and healthy life. I consider myself very fortunate to have found him and, based on my first experience with him, would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very engaging in conversation in a genuinely personable way. The most complete primary care physician I've ever had provide care. Oddly enough my son blazed the trail. After a less than positive experience with another provider my son landed with Dr. Cepeda. After taking my son to more than a handful of appointments it was clear I wanted the same care my son was receiving. To date it's been all that and more. I believe that even though his practice was full I was able to get on the roster of patients. My only negative to share is the periodic lack of timely appointments. Given the level of care provided it's certainly understandable why things can get busy and appointments booked up. Fortunately there are other physicians that share the variable seasonal load in a way that I'm never unable to get appropriate care in a timely manner. The medical staff that works with doctor are entirely top notch. Over the years staff comes and goes but the current roster is outstanding. I'm so pleased with my care that I don't even have a hint of interest in making a change at any point. Much thanks to Dr.Cepeda and his practice for making me a patient that absolutely could not be more satisfied with my care.

You saw me through some pretty great highs (when the initial scope of the right knee gave me the first pain free day's I'd had in decades, and when we were hopeful that the PRP was going to bear fruit, and a bunch of other moments) and some very dark lows, when I was not certain I'd ever be able to travel again, or have anything close to a "typical" active life. You just smiled, tried something else, and kept me moving in the right direction. Your faith was sometimes *all* that I had to keep going. YOU were the one who encouraged me to keep trying things, to not give up, and to contact my new ortho in the first place. You've been there every bit of this! So, here we are. I have two big knee scars and a huge smile on my face because I am GRATEFUL to have my life back. I'm grateful to you, and to every clinician/tech/student/fellow patient I encountered in all the different locations I've visited. Each person walked with me on a different part of the journey, and I am sure that I'm typical in every way except one: it really did take a village of people to get me to this point. I never could be where I am without every single person. Thank you, Chris, and thank you to everyone at Spine & Sport. Rock stars, ALL.
