He really is the doctor that talks the talk and walks the walk. If you have any questions about anything he'll answer them or refer you to another professional that can. I talked to the nurse on the phone and she was able to squeeze me in to see Dr. Chan the very next day. As a result, my illness was treated right away. In another appointment, he was running late due to a system malfunction (it wasn't his fault). His assistants came and apologized to me twice and asked if I was ok for waiting and if I needed anything. When he came in, he apologized again. I only had to wait 30 minutes (I've waited longer in other doctor's offices before so this was nothing). It shows how they respect my time and this is the first time anyone has ever apologized to me for waiting in a doctor's office. So, I was very impressed with their service. Dr. Chan is very thorough and addressed all my medical concerns carefully and ordered the necessary tests. He has a great personality and really listens to me when I tell him my health concerns. He explains the medications and test results carefully in simple terms that I can understand. He has become my trusted health advisor and because of him, I'm feeling better than ever.

Dr.Chan lacks compassion for patients brushing off all patient's concerns and questions. When Dr.Chan found out he didn't have the credibility to treat patient's specific illness; his demeanor immediately changed to being disrespectfully rude. At first we gave Dr.Choon-WengChan the benefit of doubt that he was acting improfessional, because of stress. Trying to avoid conflict, we continued to seek Dr.Chan's care, to which he continued being ignorant and disrespectful. Dr.Chan said chilling things like "why are you still alive", "if you're in China you should be dead", "you know Chinese hate disabled people", "don't come back", "you don't look sick", "I don't want to see you anymore". He spoke to us as if we can't comprehend his insults to injuries, which raises our concerns and questions to his credibility as a "doctor". Leaving Dr.Choon-WengChan's practice is a fortune.
