Mark called back a day later, scheduled a $139 cleaning for the following week to clean the stairs and upstairs hallway and address a few small stains in the hallway. My significant other and I were busy when Mark arrived. I paid him and we both went to work (at home). When I came out of my home office, Mark had left. Once dried (in a few hours), the carpets looked great, stains nearly all gone. I was pleased, the carpeting looked brand new and revived. We decided to have most prices of furniture cleaned and called steam machine as we prefer to support local small businesses when we can. What a great decision that was! We got a response right away from Mike (the owner) he was super accommodating, explained the whole process and worked with us to find a cleaning time that fit our schedule. Mike was very professional and personable throughout the time he spent at our house & we could not be more happy with the results as our furniture looks good as new! As an added plus, his pricing was excellent! We would definitely recommend Steam Machine to anyone looking to spruce up their place and we plan on using him again soon to give some of our hardwood floors a nice pick me up!

But there was a problem from the beginning! The truck-based cleaning system broke down in my driveway, actually it was the onboard generator that runs the cleaning equipement. Walter, the cleaning technician was stranded here waiting for a new truck to be delivered. We chatted for some time, nice guy! The replacement truck was delivered by the owner of the company, Adam. He apologized to me for the inconvenience and shook my hand. I watched Walter work now and then, he cleaned, used neutralizer and smelled the loveseat cushions over and over. He did the cushion cleaning outside on a ground cloth! I waited 4 days to write this review; I wanted to make sure the Pee Smell was gone in both cases. This company presented a professional approach to me, I booked the same day, Adam did the estimate. I got a discount too for a same day booking. I canceled my next estimate. Verry Happy, Andy Rutter
