After comparing prices, I quickly figured out that Clean My Space CT had some of the better priced cleaning plans. As such, I bit the bullet and tried them out. I asked for 8am the first Saturday so I could be there to monitor and also get some errands done afterwards. I thought for sure they're going to say no (they didn't) or cancel last minute like some other places had (again they didn't). They gave me a half hour window when their cleaning crew would arrive, 8-8:30. I set my alarm for 7:50 thinking I had time to pick up since obvious that meant they would get to my house at 8:30. They did not. At 8 on the dot there was a ring at my door and there were two smiling ladies who said they would be cleaning my house. They brought all their own, took off their shoes and started cleaning. I have two story townhouse with two bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 baths. It's not huge but it does take me about a good 4-5 hours to (half ass) clean it by myself. These two ladies finished in 2 1/2 to 3 hours and my house has never looked better. They are trustworthy and punctual and thorough. I think there whole team is absolutely amazing. There was one Saturday that one lady came by herself and I was a little worried because I thought she'd take much longer by herself but nope, finished everything up in a reasonable amount of time (3-3 1/2 hrs). She cleaned just as well as the other two lady cleaning team. So, after a long winded story, I HIGHLY recommend Clean My Space CT. They may not be cheap but they are worth every single penny for the peace of mind that they give and the excellent job that they do.

So i had purchased a 4 hour "top to bottom" cleaning deal off living social…read more. called company about a week before it was due to expire and the person who answered the phone was very nice and professional...even let me use the deal after expiration because I called in time..made arrangements for sat july 19, 2014 at 8am also..the lady on the phone asked if i would need the cleaning lady to bring a vacuum and mopping supplies..i said i have a vacuum but no mop so that MUST be brought as the floors were a major concern/need to be done Day before I got a reminder call (good!) and was told that the person would be "around *am" So far so good...but then it went downhill... 1) Cleaning lady arrived 25 mins late (i assumed around means less than 5 min) 2) Had NO mop...said that she doesnt work for this company often and was never told to bring a mop...asked if i could run to the store and get one (which i could not because i had animals locked up outside so that she could move around the house without issues) 3) Claimed she didnt know what to do...asked if i had hand towels and she could put that on the bottom of my swifer stick Then I proceeded to show her what my MAIN cleaning goals were...mostly floors (and said i wanted them done a few washes)..i have 2 cats and foster dogs..the floors were dirty with hair and gunk) 4) After 1.5 hours she let me know that she was done..I said "but i paid for 4 hours, how about windows next since i still time paid for"...this is when the appointment turned bad HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from her now...she informed me that she did what i asked and that she isnt like some people and "lazy" and did my house without breaks...she also informed me that "I had the dirtiest house she had ever seen" and that she does good work...also made a comment about how "She didnt even stop to change the water in her bucket"...which got me thinking you cleaned my floors with DIRTY water?? (didnt say cause i didnt think about that till later in day) So the i went around the rooms that she had cleaned..going based on what the website said was standard (included) things werent even touched (got told that she doesnt know whats on the website) fans, pictures dusted, appliances (k-cup maker, toaster oven and knife blocks) were not moved and cleaned under, microwave inside wasnt cleaned, baseboards wiped down, So i mentioned how this was included in the service according to the website (bright cleanings website not living social).... She said well i did what you asked me to do!!...I responded as Im sorry i thought this was included as standard care and didnt know i had to tell you specifically to dust the pictures hanging on a wall ect So she went and did some more work..HOWEVER upon further inspection after she left the job still hadnt been done as well as i thought it should have She didnt sweep or mop under objects ie the couch (i understand not moving the furniture, but the swiffer gets under the couch)...when dusting nightstands and dressers she didnt bother to move objects and even in the bathroom she didnt move the stuff on the sinks...also the vacuum was over filled with stuff..maybe its just me but when it was full shouldnt half way through a room maybe she have emptied it and then kept going I do have to say that she did a good job cleaning one of my bathrooms which really needed it So..end of story...at the end of the day i had to go back and finish up basic things that should not have been overlooked (i have pictures) and her attitude in my own home was unacceptable and unprofessional
