The right boot started falling apart in no time. I returned in the fourth month for them to only tell me that they have fired all their old staff and rehired all new employees and that if they were to even consider swapping my faulty boots out they would need the original recipe from the date of purchase and nothing else would suffice. Bear in mind that these are Cody James boots, a Boot Barn special. Now I am in construction but nothing that would heavily damage my shoes, the last pair I had, of a different better brand, lasted me over two years. I've grown up going here but this is the last time I'll be visiting them for anything.

I am incredibly upset with the lying little you know what - who called herself "Bianca." I wanted my partners money reimbursed to his card for clothing that I received as a bday gift. Upon the request of an employee, I put the receipt on the counter with the items i was to return while i tried on clothes to see about doing an exchange. Nothing really fit me right, and because I didnt have my partners card which he used to make the purchase, "Bianca" couldn't do the return. I asked for my receipt back, and was told it was "lost, but when i came back in with the card they would still honor the reimbursement...they could look up the purchase with the card he used." It was their fault that the receipt was lost. I was skeptical, and asked for her name in case there was a problem... and of course, IT WAS. So when the return was attempted again by my husband, the manager/owner wouldn't honor "Biancas" words. She claimed nobody named bianca worked there, and when she looked up my husbands name in the system the items were never logged with the purchase. For this being our first experience as customers, i am shocked by the lies, and the attitudes. I have half the nerve to go there and wait for "bianca" to show up for her shift so we can have this discussion again, with the right person present. THIS KIND OF CONDUCT CRUMBLES SMALL BUSINESSES!

Shopping here recently was a top notch experience for excellent service from the people who work there and quality brands in a range of styles of shoes, sandals and boots in many sizes, including narrow and wide widths, for women and men. On a busy Wednesday afternoon every customer was promptly greeted and seemed to get the same quality care and attention from the knowledgeable staff who could make recommendations as well as help customers try on their choices from the many casual - comfort brands that included Hoka, Josef Siebel, Born, Taos, Ecco, Keen, SAS (San Antonio Shoemaker), Dansko and others. . When some customers needed a different size or color than what was available in this location's inventory, I could hear the staff offer to have it brought in from the downtown store or arrange for the shoe to be held at the downtown location if trying it there was what the customer wanted to do. My husband and I walked in expecting to spend a few minutes to get my feet measured and see if I could find a pair of shoes and we were both surprised to find such a large, well displayed inventory in the larger than expected light and bright space. We walked out more than an hour later with five pairs of shoes, three mine and two his, that are both comfortable and fun to wear. STELLAR SERVICE: Store manager Stephanie was professional and patient as she assisted me to try on probably a dozen pairs of shoes (in most places I am lucky if I can find one that will work for me) and another woman and a man who were also working on a busy Wednesday afternoon helped my husband. Everyone was knowledgeable about brands, fit and styles to make recommendations for both of us. That is particularly valued by me as I have hard to fit feet and also have had multiple sclerosis since my college years which makes balance and gait a problem so the right shoes are key. This was like shopping in Nordstrom for shoes in the day when I lived near those stores for skilled sales professionals who knew their product lines and understand feet too. This kind of skill and service is how customer loyalty is grown. CONVENIENT PARKING LOT: We lived in Bend for almost 20 years and shopped the downtown Birkenstock store from time to time but popping into this store on a recent visit to Bend was our first time at this location which we chose because downtown parking is miserable and this store location offers a convenient to use parking lot. Next time we are in town we will have shopping at this Eastside location on our "to do" list again. We recommend the store. ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible parking is in the lot right outside the door. All on one floor with ample clear floor space to navigate to displays and seating to try on. HOW TO FIND IT: Map and contact info to confirm this location can be found here: www.bendshoeco.com/locations/eastside-forum-shopping-center/

5 stars for beautiful boutique store feel, organization, service…read more I'm sad I didn't walk away with any purchases. The asking prices were too high. Granted everything looks to be in near perfect condition but I came hoping for better prices. The sale rack outside was an indication of what to expect inside as it was pricey too. Beautiful shop but didnt buy. However I did buy some shoes at the smaller thrift store next door because this one had not yet opened.

I previously tried consigning at their other location in town and was told they were booked out months in advance--and that I'd need to log on the moment appointments opened just to secure a spot. That level of rigidity for a consignment shop is absurd and should have been my warning sign. I decided to try their other location and am equally appalled. Similarly, I had to make an appointment just to consign items. Then I had to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate an assigned appointment to pick up unsold items, which was not chosen by me but instead just delegated to me. I showed up on time, only to be met with dismissive, flippant indifference from staff. Despite having a scheduled appointment to collect unsold items, I was told I couldn't consign additional items during that appointment--but could come back later (literally 45 minutes later) to do so with NO ONE else in the shop. I was also told I could come back yet again, in a different visit, to pick up a check for my sold items. How many separate trips am I expected to make for one transaction? Their entire process is wildly inefficient and completely disrespectful of customers' time. You're limited in how many items you can bring, the drop-off windows are narrow and rigid, and even if your items are in-season and in great condition, they can still be rejected based on their inventory. And after spending hours of my life arranged around their schedule, the payout is a complete joke. I was told I'd be receiving $38 total despite consigning multiple items, including a Michael Kors purse, with zero transparency around how that number was calculated. When I asked for an itemized breakdown, they had to log into yet another system and told me they'd send a link so that I could jump through yet more hoops to learn what each item sold for. Unsurprisingly, that link never came. To make matters worse, they couldn't even issue a check on the spot and instead claimed it would be mailed. That was four weeks ago--I still haven't received anything. So after rearranging my schedule, making multiple unnecessary trips, and dealing with their disorganized process and rude staff, I have exactly zero dollars to show for it. Between the lack of organization, constant "we need to log into another system" excuses, restrictive and inconvenient policies, and the irreverent staff, this business operates in a way that feels intentionally opaque and financially unfair to its customers. Bend is absolutely due for an ethical, flexible consignment shop that actually values its customers--because this place clearly does not. I strongly recommend others think twice before trusting this shop with their items.
