The staff was very friendly and organized. My children are 8 and 9 years old and they enjoyed themselves. I think this is the most quiet campground I have ever been to. Seemed like about 1/2 the guest if not more we're older couples from Quebec. They very much kept to themselves but would still say hello from time to time. I'm not sure this would be the place for you if you like blasting music and being rowdy or have very loud children. The pool was very nice and kept very clean. The playground could definitely use a overhaul.. not much to it at the moment... but non the less my kids still had fun. The campground is a short ride to the beach. However it was so nice I didn't really feel the need to leave. We will definitely be going back again!

The grounds is so well maintained, the bathrooms are beautiful with outdoor hand washing sinks in one side and dish washing sinks on the other end. Showers are coin but it's only 50 cents for 5 minutes which is MORE than enough time. The showers are small but just enough of what you need to get the job done. The only complaint I would have would be that the shower heads are not adjustable and I am short so I felt like I was getting water out of the shower and directly in my face. But water was hot and so soft. Pet friendly, and neighbor friendly, I felt like everyone we walked by said good morning and was sooo kind. Camp store is greatly priced, and had just what you might need if you forget something. Will deliver wood directly to your site for 7$ a bundle. Maintained quiet hour, driving around to check at 10 to make sure no fires are left unattended. I just loved it! I can't say that I have found a campground yet where I'm like "I need to go back" but this one I did. It's so close to so many local beaches, shops, NH, it's perfectly located , the playground is old but it's just enough, and the POOL is amazing with a super cute gazebo right next to it with chairs and tables. Quiet , perfect, shaded, and affordable

In the town there are a few campgrounds. Won't give them any credence but this year was our first year here... We arrived earlier then checked in and as the site was ready the business led us to our site and offered to park it perfectly for us. Now mind you the sites aren't huge but adequate after all you are in the middle of town! Most of the trailers are seasonal and a few are tents and some weeklies. The sites are very well kept up, tiled bathrooms 25¢ for 5 minutes and cleaned 2 times a day my daughter said it was plenty of time for a hot shower! My family arrived in their pop-up to join us for a week and were to camp next to us and turn their trailer and face us which was nice camping together! As some of the complaints said no individual fire pits but if tent site is not in use across from us we were able to use it for a fire one night. The huge + for this place is it is in town very clean & walking distance to all amenities... ocean, restaurants, bars, gift shops, laundry about 10 minutes away. With very nice owners I would definitely stay here again.

October 8th 2024 Judy told us to find another campground, which we did pretty easily and their favorite word is YES as opposed to Judy's which is NO. I would NEVER recommend this campground unless you want to be treated like you re in kindergarten because that is how Judy runs the campground. ALL my neighbors there r in shock and sad. They all wanted to say something stating that we NEVER did anything wrong and we wouldnt let them. All the non-seasonals will be highly disappointed to not have us to share/sit with and we will miss them but we will make many new friends because we r great people. I have one wish--- it s Karma

Ogunquit beach has a very gradual slope which makes it perfect for long walks - you don't get the feeling that you are walking on a slant. It's absolutely gorgeous, with large sandy expanses, especially at low tide. There are often flocks of sandpipers, which I love to watch as they run so quickly over the sand and search for food. Ogunquit Beach is especially nice in the off season - the crowd spreads out over the area so you never feel as if people are on top of you like you might in the peak season. There is a parking lot that is free from November-March, and you can also easily walk to the beach from in town. Next to the parking lot there is a covered area with chairs and benches which are perfect for just relaxing by the ocean. There are also a couple of restaurants, a snack bar, a beach store, and an ice cream shop very close by.

The ~4000 acre forest has a dedicated entrance to the campground with several rangers assigned to it. The sites can be extremely spacious and isolated or be smaller and more social. It really is your choice. Safe swimming, fishing, bike riding, and hiking are abundant. The educational programs are posted, including weekly hikes, bike rides, and fishing lessons (they provide everything for novices). They even have a bonfire on Sat. nights during the camping season. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are typically in excellent condition, including free showers and hot water. A donation is requested for the mandatory kiln-dried firewood ($5/bundle or $10/3 bundles). All sites have potable water. No sites have electricity. Alcohol is prohibited (and this is posted prominently). People who get caught drinking (typically because they are obnoxious) are asked to leave immediately. The state police barracks is just down the road, so help is nearby if others get rowdy. It is amazing to really be in the woods so close to Boston. Booking a site in advance online is highly recommended; walk-ins/drive-ups are permitted if there is space available. The fees are extremely reasonable ($12/night).

The owners son was super helpful and on top of anything that needed looking in to. The bathrooms were kept clean and had plenty of space. The atmosphere is quiet and you can hear the ocean waves. There is an entrance to a rocky beach at low tide to one side and a sandy beach to the other end. Great for walking your dog in the early morning and after 6. I would like it better if they would rent for 3-4 nights. A week is tough so you end up spending a lot for a shorter trip. Plus charging for extra kids seems wrong to me.
