There are several locations to choose from and different layouts in each house. The one we stayed in was pretty small and cramped, with an attached living room and kitchen, a bathroom, a master bedroom, and a bunk bed in another room. The bedding was no issue for us, as it was comfy. The room was clean, and the air conditioning flowed smoothly and was well organized. A lock is on top of the door for the bathroom, which is a hook. Outside is a table and even a walkway to view the complex. There is plenty to do, with the bay directly across and Wellfleet Center not far away. Our only minor complaint is the parking, which is very cramped and close to the road. Widening it would be an improvement. Regarding the price and stay, we are willing to use Del Mar Vacations in the future.

(July 2025)…read more Cape Cod is a family tradition for us, and Southfleet Motor Inn is one of those special places that keeps us coming back. We've been visiting the Cape since 2014 (my husband even longer) and this was our third stay at Southfleet. Over the years we've camped in tents, stayed in yurts, and rented Airbnbs, but there's something about this cozy, classic Wellfleet motel that we just love. One of our favorite things? Crossing the street to hop on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. We love biking to Marconi Beach and riding to Bob's Cone & Burgers to fuel up. It's the perfect spot for families who love the outdoors. The indoor pool and hot tub are a treat, especially after a beach day, and the outdoor pool is refreshing and clean. There's cold water/coffee/microwave/toaster/few plates and plastic ware available in lobby , a vending machine, a simple game room, and even a washer/dryer on site. We especially appreciate the clothesline contraption tucked behind the motel near the BBQ pit which is super handy for drying swimsuits and towels. Other thoughtful touches include: A tented area over picnic tables A small playground for the kids Washer (free) Dryer (coins to use) shed near playground BBQ grill available for guests Friendly, helpful staff Great location near Marconi Beach, local eats, and the Rail Trail Only tiny con: the mini-fridge is on the smaller side, so if you're packing food for a long stay, bringing a cooler helps. All in all, Southfleet Motor Inn feels like part of our Cape Cod rhythm now which is simple, clean, family-friendly, and in a perfect location. We'll definitely be back again! And finally, the fun as well as the peace and quiet! Beach Realty enforces the occupancy limit so if you are looking to rent a party house and cram a lot of people into it, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a house, large or small, to share with family and friends, it's a perfect area.
