Parking is limited right by the door but it is attached to a shopping center. I had a feeling this place was going to be good when people were speed walking to get the table they wanted. It was a beautiful day and I decided to sit outside in their covered seating area. The waitress was very helpful with suggestions and in the end I selected the blackened halibut burger that was one of their specials. The fish itself was good, but the tartar sauce and pickles really made it a special dish. Creamy and tangy and crispy! I got the coleslaw as a side and it was fantastic! Another wonderful meal at Cape Cod Fish - we had three of the specials, coconut shrimp "the best coconut shrimp I've ever had" said one of our tablemates. I had the SICILIAN SALMON BRUSCHETTA and it was excellent. One of the others had the ATLANTIC COD & JUMBO SHRIMP BASKET and she said it was also excellent and the last dish we had was the Salmon BLT - again a great meal. Service sweet and attentive. Food bland and forgetful. Clam chowder tasteless and missing any meaningful bits of clams-- it should have been renamed Potato soup. The lobster tacos were equally disappointing: the bare minimum tiny little cubes of lobster. Perhaps it was because we visited on the weekend just before the restaurant's closed for vacation but the owners need to step up their game. Such great flavors bursting through the calamari with banana peppers Kalamata olives and roasted red peppers sooo good! My mother had the twin lobster tails and they were done to perfection and so sweet, my brother had the stuffed halibut ( stuffed with crab&lobster ) excellent! This place truly is a hidden gem. So happy my friend and I decided to try this place. It wasn't very busy when we got there so we got seated right away. There's outdoor and indoor seating available. Our server was amazing. Wish I could remember her name. I have to say everyone that work there were very friendly. Both my friend and I decided to get the same thing. We got the classic Lobster roll with the right amount of Mayo, lemon and herbs. For sides we got the Parmesan truffle fries and coleslaw. The whole plate was devoured in no time. There was plenty of big juicy pieces of Lobster with the perfect amount of dressing on it. It was a delicious roll. The Parmesan Truffle fries were delicious as well. We were excited to come here after seeing the high ratings and reviews, but the experience left us disappointed. We called ahead for a party of 10 for a Sunday evening. They said it would be no problem and were quite nice on the phone to my wife, who called. When we arrived, the table was set up for us. All good. They were nice to let us sit even when our party wasn't all there, which was kind compared to the current trends at restaurants. As we waited, we ordered an appetizer for the table. The calamari was quite good, though I didn't try it. When ordering, my brother-in-law and I tried to order the 16oz soups, but in 8oz cups so we could each try what the other got. They would not let us order and split bowls, we had to order the cups at a higher charge. Fine, I get it, it's a 1$ dishwasher charge. The NE clam chowder was very good, the Lobster and Corn chowder was flavorless, and mildly warm, opposite of the NE clam chowder...and we soon figured out why. My wife tried to order a bowl of the Lobster and Corn chowder as her meal, only to be told they were now out of it. I'm certain ours was "extended" with some cream or stock to stretch it to the two cups we ordered, but what they added to it wasn't hot and was unseasoned. We then ordered the "Fish and Chips" from their menu. The server asked what two sides we wanted with our "Fish and Chips". We ordered two side salads - both an up charge. We got our salads first. When the main dish came out, it was a basket with three pieces of fish with no chips. When we inquired where the chips were, the server told us we got two sides, and we ordered salads. So, we quickly found out that "Fish and Chips" is "Fish with two sides", despite the menu name. We ordered a side of fries to share. The fish was flavorless, the cocktail sauce was without horseradish and tasted of a heavy ketchup base, and the fries came out unseasoned. We just laughed as to how poorly this meal went for the two of us. I really wanted to give two stars, but since the other 8 people had a good enough time, I'm giving it three stars. My brother-in-law split the bill and left. I'll never come back as they're either clueless or they like to nickel and dime you for every little request. read more

Everything went well. My best friend and I ate here before we were headed to our concert. We were greeted warmly as soon as we stepped foot on their outdoor patio. This is combo meal with a classic lobster roll and a cup of lobster chowder. The lobster roll is a 4 ounce lobster roll with New England classic roll. The lobster meat is big enough. This restaurant has been under new owner and management for almost a year. Yes they have cleaned it up, organized it, probably raised the prices when some of the food has not changed. However, I have to report they have messed around with the baked bean recipe and it is now too hot/spicy for a seniors' palate. The lobster pie is poorly prepared. It's either been undercooked on purpose, or sitting around until someone orders it. In any event, the lobster meat was tough, tasted like it was prepared from fake butter, and no herbs spices, other than cracker meal. I would go elsewhere for lobster unless roll is all you want, because all it really has is mayonnaise. Also, I would suggest staying away during the season. It's just too crowded. This is a great place to stop after spending time on Sanibel Island and heading back to Fort Myers (or wherever!). It was a bit after 3:00 and we were seated (outside) immediately. Our server was there pronto to take and deliver our drink order. She was very friendly and efficient. The outside has a real island feel, laid back and casual. We didn't go inside, but I am sure it's similar. We both ordered the cod fish and chips/jumbo shrimp combo basket. The fish and shrimp tasted fresh and the batter was well seasoned.
