Classic Cape Cod ice cream spot. The ice cream was creamy and full of flavor. Great serving sizes for the price and nice outdoor seating to enjoy a scoop.

The view would be pretty nice during the day and without a ton of snow on the deck but that's what to expect in the winter. The bar was not far from us and was pretty crowded/loud. The server was very nice and took our order - we started with the calamari appetizer, my wife had a cup of clam chowder and a broiled scallops dish and I had a lobster roll with French fries. Neither one of us thought the chowder was that good - had a strange taste to it that neither one of us could identify - it wasn't bad, just not great. The calamari was good and while the bowl it came served in was large, probably half of the order contained peppers so it wasn't as generous a portion as it looked. The calamari was pretty good - had a nice cornmeal crunch to it but I liked it a bit more than my wife did. The scallops were a generous portion and VERY tender - my wife really enjoyed them. The scallops came with a baked potato and veggies and my wife said the potato almost tasted like it was microwaved and not baked in an oven. My lobster roll was good as were the fries - nothing spectacular but not bad. For dessert we split an apple crisp (also pictured with this review). I thought it was too sweet, on the mushy side and I didn't taste a lot of apple in it (I think the sweetness overrode the apple). The apple crisp came with a bit of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My wife did enjoy it and thought it was quite good. Service was nice but on the slow side (we waited at least ten minutes for our supper plates to be cleared). The server was good about refilling our water glasses. Overall not a bad place. We are new to the Cape (having moved here in December 2025) and are trying out local restaurants to see if we can find a "favorite." Clancey's is not bad but I doubt we would consider it a favorite. I'm rating it with four stars but if I could I'd probably give it 3.5 - I'll round up because the server was very pleasant.

The vibes were good they had live music and the inside was nice although I wish there were more chairs or at least more chairs at some tables. We sat in the back as we waited and tried asking for wait times but they told us they didn't know which was our order even tho we gave a name when paying. Since we have 5 sandwiches we didn't try to ask more. The sandwiches itself were decent nothing really stuck out and for the wait time I wouldn't say it was worth. The sandwich was pretty thin not super filling but for Cape Cod I would say it's a decent sandwich. I would recommend just making your own, the total of making ur own is cheaper than the sandwiches they had and it's just easier for your own liking. We came around 12-1 pm and by that time they were out of everything bagel but there are a lot of different bagels or breads to choose. We also ordered a cannoli with chocolate chips but they only but it on half, idk if that's usually a thing but first time we had like that.

But for now it was one-and-done, in the middle of January, as the only person in there (with my cousin). And we packed a pint instead of getting scoops, so the presentation comes out a little different. 1. I love the flavor names. Really fits the locale. 2. Most of the flavors are along your standard lines. I liked the Mounds and the extra dark chocolate (with cinnamon!) that we pinted. 3. Despite the one review I spot, service was very friendly and patient. Ya know, it comes down to when you go and who's there. But everything points toward this being The Spot To Nosh when you come up to the Cape.

The ice cream itself is consistently good, with a nice variety of flavors to choose from. Staff interactions have varied between visits. On one occasion, the team was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer questions or offer samples. On another visit, when we were the only two customers at the counter, the staff seemed less enthusiastic--perhaps preoccupied with other tasks as they came out from the back room. To be fair, we might have pulled them away from other task they were performing at the time. Overall, this location provides quality ice cream in a pleasant setting.
