Classic Cape Cod ice cream spot. The ice cream was creamy and full of flavor. Great serving sizes for the price and nice outdoor seating to enjoy a scoop.

The view would be pretty nice during the day and without a ton of snow on the deck but that's what to expect in the winter. The bar was not far from us and was pretty crowded/loud. The server was very nice and took our order - we started with the calamari appetizer, my wife had a cup of clam chowder and a broiled scallops dish and I had a lobster roll with French fries. Neither one of us thought the chowder was that good - had a strange taste to it that neither one of us could identify - it wasn't bad, just not great. The calamari was good and while the bowl it came served in was large, probably half of the order contained peppers so it wasn't as generous a portion as it looked. The calamari was pretty good - had a nice cornmeal crunch to it but I liked it a bit more than my wife did. The scallops were a generous portion and VERY tender - my wife really enjoyed them. The scallops came with a baked potato and veggies and my wife said the potato almost tasted like it was microwaved and not baked in an oven. My lobster roll was good as were the fries - nothing spectacular but not bad. For dessert we split an apple crisp (also pictured with this review). I thought it was too sweet, on the mushy side and I didn't taste a lot of apple in it (I think the sweetness overrode the apple). The apple crisp came with a bit of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My wife did enjoy it and thought it was quite good. Service was nice but on the slow side (we waited at least ten minutes for our supper plates to be cleared). The server was good about refilling our water glasses. Overall not a bad place. We are new to the Cape (having moved here in December 2025) and are trying out local restaurants to see if we can find a "favorite." Clancey's is not bad but I doubt we would consider it a favorite. I'm rating it with four stars but if I could I'd probably give it 3.5 - I'll round up because the server was very pleasant.

Ordered a flatbread which was mediocre at best, and SO small I was done in 5 bites! Price $20! Glass of average wine $14 Went there because I have the last surname hoping it would be nice..will NOT be back. Very disappointing.

Kids pizza. Dough was like dominos pizza, and sauce obviously was jarred, not fresh.

I am still thinking back to when we first ordered their fish and chips this past weekend and I can't stop thinking about how FRESH everything tasted!! From the fish, to the fries, and even the freshness of the cole slaw! The fish was perfectly cooked where the fish layers "flake off" and the batter was layered where it is neither too doughy nor falls off entirely. I am normally not a cole slaw gal, but the veggies in the cole slaw were so freshly crunchy and the sauce was not overwhelmingly creamy or savory that it was a nice adjunct to the main entree. Almost forgot that the plate also comes with 2 fried clam cakes as well that were not overly done either. The restaurant was insanely busy when we arrived 30 minutes before closing. (they closed at 8pm, so early on a weekend seeing how it's so busy at closing time!) Just note there may be a little bit of a wait with food after ordering considering how busy it gets. Essentially you order at the counter then if you're dining in then they give you a number and just find the table you're seated at and bring the food to your What we ordered: -Fish and Chips (comes w/clam cakes) -Twist soft serve w/cherry dipped

The options speaks for itself, a lot of variety and topings to choose from, which you can go basic or go with their customized offerings. There's something here for everyone, and it's okay to take your time. The layout is very nice, with the inside being fairly small, but enough to fit to order and eat outside. Plenty of chairs are provided, set up extremely nice. The colors add the whole atmosphere, and feel. Pricing is decent for what you get, and for a non-chain, come for it!

While we were there, we overheard a mother confronting one of the teenage employees about a comment he had made to her daughter. We did not hear the original comment, but it was clear from the conversation that something inappropriate had been said. The mother seemed genuinely upset, and the situation became uncomfortable for everyone in the store. Whether intentional or not, employees should be respectful and professional when interacting with customers. Hearing a parent feel the need to defend her child in front of other customers was concerning. I hope management looks into what happened and addresses it appropriately. We have always had positive experiences here, but this incident left a bad impression on our family.

The vibes were good they had live music and the inside was nice although I wish there were more chairs or at least more chairs at some tables. We sat in the back as we waited and tried asking for wait times but they told us they didn't know which was our order even tho we gave a name when paying. Since we have 5 sandwiches we didn't try to ask more. The sandwiches itself were decent nothing really stuck out and for the wait time I wouldn't say it was worth. The sandwich was pretty thin not super filling but for Cape Cod I would say it's a decent sandwich. I would recommend just making your own, the total of making ur own is cheaper than the sandwiches they had and it's just easier for your own liking. We came around 12-1 pm and by that time they were out of everything bagel but there are a lot of different bagels or breads to choose. We also ordered a cannoli with chocolate chips but they only but it on half, idk if that's usually a thing but first time we had like that.
