So good, we went twice in one trip!! Got the brownie sundae w/ coconut chip and the honeycomb lavender in a cone, both were delicious. it's a small space in the actual store but there's sm seating outside Def recommend xx

I ordered from the outside window. I first tried the cape cod sand mystery flavor. It was delicious, and I'm not sure what's in it. I had a small scoop of death by chocolate. It's a big scoop for $5.37. There's plenty of outdoor seating on the deck. The server said this is the only location.

If you're like me, you will not be able to resist a goodie. First off, you will not want to forgo delicious house made ice cream, as there's something for everyone. Sorbet, low fat yogurt, vegan dairy free... They have your tried and true flavors here as well as creative ones depending on your mood. Size and cone choices and toppings etc available and so on. Nothing better than a break on a nice outdoor patio, to stop and enjoy your treat. And oh boy, do they scoop up a generous sized serving! No complaints here, and I will happily have at it!!

Walking down Main Street in Cape Cod Hyannis, saw this store Katie's Homemade ice cream, they have many different combinations of ice cream. We ordered three scoop flavor ice cream, Cape Cod Mud, (coffee, fudge swirl, almonds, oreo, chocolate chips, Salty Caramel, Coconut Cheese Cake limited time special. The ice cream was smooth and creamy good flavors, good portion size serving.

I'll have the Cape Cod Sand :)

The ice cream was delicious of course, I had the Cape Cod Sand and the Cape Cod Mud, both of which satisfies. Katie's considers most of their signature ice cream with "secret ingredients". The place is cute with plenty of seating outside. The service is good however a bit slow causing people having to wait outside and lines to form. I get it, it's all hand made and prepared plus if someone gets a banana split or the like it can be time consuming. The prices are what I expected for the Cape. All in all a good stop for a sweet tooth :) You can trust me, I've been to an ice cream shop or 20 ;D

We passed Katie's Ice Cream on our way to dinner so its presence on our walk home so we had the subsequent hour and a half to think about passing it again on our walk home and you already know how that turned out. They have a very large patio outside the small interior which was absolutely jam packed with people eating ice cream. It's quite a scene. The ice cream gods were looking down on us because somehow there was only a line to the doors on the inside of the place which moved quickly. They have a GAZILLION ice cream flavors, a million soft serve flavors, and even VEGAN ice cream flavors. I was considering switching it up and going for one of their vegan varieties until GF brought to my attention that they have my soul mate ice cream flavor COOKIE MONSTER which I proceeded to order in a cake cone. One scoop was $5.50 or thereabouts. The ice cream is definitely tasty but as GF pointed out, a touch on the sweet side. When we left, the line was wayyyy out the door so I guess timing is everything. Don't think I wouldn't go back.

So many flavors. Even had soft serve in different flavors, but it was a bit melty. Very cute place. Vegan and allergy friendly options.

What a unique shop! Hotdogs AND ice cream?!? We stopped here and tried it all - the fellas in our group had hotdogs and sausages, reporting them as tasty though not the crunchy kind you get when steamed. My gal pal and I tried the ice cream. I delighted in the vegan chocolate truffle and was totally pleased. For a vegan flavor I was very impressed by the smooth texture, the taste had no hints of the base so I couldn't tell what kind of milk was used which is a tell tale sign of clean ingredients and careful mixing! Great spot, lots of outdoor seating, worth a visit!

The scoops here are HUMONGOUS, and the prices are very good. Very underrated icecream place. Katie's is a must try if you are in the area.

No complaints to be had! Prices seemed reasonable for the area. We were recommended this place at dinner by our waiter at "Tugboat". We also read online that this ice cream place was one of the better places on Cape Cod. The ice cream was good. The service was fast!

Home made everything!!

It was ok but not worth the hype honestly. Maybe I'm missing something? The pistachios ice cream felt odd in texture. Sorry!

Cape Cod Creamery of Hyannis - 'rainbow' sprinkles ???

Cape Cod Creamery of Hyannis

But for now it was one-and-done, in the middle of January, as the only person in there (with my cousin). And we packed a pint instead of getting scoops, so the presentation comes out a little different. 1. I love the flavor names. Really fits the locale. 2. Most of the flavors are along your standard lines. I liked the Mounds and the extra dark chocolate (with cinnamon!) that we pinted. 3. Despite the one review I spot, service was very friendly and patient. Ya know, it comes down to when you go and who's there. But everything points toward this being The Spot To Nosh when you come up to the Cape.

The ice cream itself is consistently good, with a nice variety of flavors to choose from. Staff interactions have varied between visits. On one occasion, the team was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer questions or offer samples. On another visit, when we were the only two customers at the counter, the staff seemed less enthusiastic--perhaps preoccupied with other tasks as they came out from the back room. To be fair, we might have pulled them away from other task they were performing at the time. Overall, this location provides quality ice cream in a pleasant setting.

The…read morebluefish pate itself was good, but rather on the salty side, so serving it with salt and vinegar chips made it pretty much inedibly salty (this was taken off the bill when the bartender noticed we didn't eat more than one bite each). My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.
