    I requested a service assessment for my clothes washer which completed a rinse cycle but then made…read morestrange noises. The following day (Sunday) was a "top ten worst" snowstorm and only essential workers were allowed on the road. Tuesday morning Chris arrived at 7:30am, ordered parts and gave me an estimate. Parts arrived on Thursday. And my machine was running before 11am Friday! I was pleased beyond words. I originally called Crane Appliances from whom I purchased my washing machine. I called them twice and they never responded to my calls.

    Refrigerator was making a loud noise several times an hour making it difficult to sleep. Called on…read morea Saturday during business hours but could only leave a voicemail. Contacted me by email and set up an appointment for diagnosis five days later ($179). Technician said it was cooling fan and would need to order parts. Was invoiced for parts the same day ($329). Parts took 12 days to arrive. Technician replaced cooling fan and left - noise started up again immediately . Called twice but could only leave a message. Tech called that afternoon and told me nothing more could be done and I would need to buy a new appliance and that parts would be refunded but diagnosis and labor would be charged. Took over 2 weeks to receive check for parts that did not cover shipping. So paid for a misdiagnosis and labor and shipping for unneeded parts. Was able to have another company come out , identify the problem and fix it. No diagnosis fee. No upfront charge to order parts. No payment until fixed. And correctly identified the problem. Have called the company that referred this business to me to tell them to stop referring this business.

    Mid Cape Appliance is amazing. I will never call another company again…read more James has been incredible in helping me with issues involving my dishwasher, refrigerator, and washing machine. I originally used another company to fix my dishwasher because it was covered under warranty. They came out five times, and the problem was still never fixed. Finally, I called Mid Cape Appliance. They came out the very next day, diagnosed the problem, and within two days James had the part and my dishwasher was back up and running. A few months later, I got a new refrigerator and the water stopped working, so there was no ice or water coming from the dispenser. Since the refrigerator was only one month old, I called Whirlpool. They said it was under warranty and sent their local company, but it took them three months just to come out, and they still couldn't tell me what was wrong. So I called James at Mid Cape Appliance. He came out the next day, found the problem with the water line, and repaired it for me on the spot. It was fantastic service. Most companies would have charged me for a diagnostic visit and then charged me again to come back and fix it, but not James. He handled everything in one visit. Then my washing machine started making a funny noise. This time, I called Mid Cape Appliance first. They scheduled a service call within a few days. James came out, explained the problem, ordered the parts, and a few weeks later called me back to schedule a time that worked for me and fixed it. I now call Mid Cape Appliance whenever I have a problem with an appliance because they are friendly, on time, and get the job done quickly and professionally.

    Short and very sweet. He answered the phone when we called! He came the same day. Based on my…read moredescription to him, he predicted the problem before he got to our house. He looked at our stove and confirmed his prediction, as well as making sure other things were OK - - and they were. He actually had the part needed on his truck! Our stove was fixed on the day we made the call! His price was more than fair. He advised us to have an electrician do some further work, which we did. The electrician was so impressed with the work of Reliable Appliance Repair that he asked for his name to recommend to his own clients!

    I am giving Reliable Appliance Repair a 5 star rating even though they did not technically repair…read moremy dryer. What they did was even better: John asked me about the problem I was giving with my dryer, was able to diagnosis over the phone and offer a simple solution - which worked! It would have been easy to take my money and then come out to diagnosis the issue, but instead he elected to solve my problem quickly over the phone. This speaks to me about the honesty of the service. If he's willing to figure out a problem and "fix" it for FREE over the phone, he is not going tell people to do unnecessary repairs when he actually comes out to someone's home. He may not be able to diagnosis your issue over the phone, but know that if offers a repair, he's not doing it simply to squeeze money out of you. If I ever have a malfunctioning appliance again, Reliable Appliance will be my first and only call and I will trust him to accurately find and fix the problem.
