I hired GJC through American Home Shield Warranty to uninstall and install ceiling fans in my home…read more The technician arrived on time, was friendly, and respectful of my property. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Due to issues with AHS the work got delayed. So I took to Yelp to write this review thinking hte issue was with GJC -when in fact the issue was with AHS. Thank you Bree for reaching out to me to get this right. We are now scheduled for the install. I know the work will be right, and for good measure I've cancelled AHS. In short I should have just reached out to GJC directly they clearly are the professionals in this situation looking to create value and a memorial customer experience.

Top notch ! Heat went out on a Friday and Jason was here in a few hours to check it out…read more He ran numerous test to determine the cause and determined that unfortunately the heater had died (13 years old or so) because of the heat exchanger. (Prior to Jason coming we had the people who originally installed the system come and check it out and they determined the same fault but we had the feeling we were being rushed into making a decision about replacing it) Everything was delivered on Monday morning by 8am and Brandon & Mat removed the old heater & AC and we had heat again by 3:30 pm. They did a fantastic job with no trace of the old system or work inside or outside the house being visible. Would not hesitate to call them in the future. Price-wise they were less than our first call.

Researching HVAC companies is always done with trepidation and hesitancy for me, because I am…read moreconcerned about the prevalence of individuals' horror stories and the price gouging that is so frequent today. Thankfully, I pursued my search and contacted Out Of a Jam. I've read their reviews, noted the authentic and upbeat tone of their customers, and, most importantly, how the company found the time to interact and respond to its clients. This winter, I'm currently pregnant, and I have four other children; therefore, tackling my heating issue for the comfort of my family took precedence over everything else this week. It was clear within seven minutes of meeting Jason that he was knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. He asked questions, was receptive to my responses, assessed the issue, and promptly began work. There is immense comfort in knowing your HVAC company can assuage your anxiety by communicating with you and making it quite clear that they are here to help, not sell you something you don't need. Jason was extremely personable and educated my husband and me on the coverage under our manufacturing warranty. He was quite meticulous in explaining what was working within our heating system and identifying the culprit behind the problem.  Professionalism and communication are the epitome of a successful business. Period. I appreciate Jason being punctual, respectful, and humorous. I know without a doubt that he is integral to the company's success. Out Of a Jam now has lasting customers, and my husband and I look forward to working with them when it's time to install our new cooling system. I could not recommend them enough.

We are landlords in the Philadelphia area and we hired Mr. Woods and his team to turn over our…read moreproperty for new tenants this September. We met him at the property and reviewed all repairs needed. He was confident that his team could take care of all the properties needs from the roof to cleaning and we trusted that repairs would be done efficiently. We were disappointed when we arrived at the property 3 days before our new tenants were to move in and things were not completed the house was visible dirty. The floors were not swept, kitchen counters not wiped, stove top with food stains, cabinets not wiped of grease, moldings not painted, deck fence falling apart and the list goes on and on. We called him immediately and he said he never went back to the property to check if the work was completed and that he forgot to do some of the work we already paid him for. He mentioned he would come back with the cleaning person and we were clear that the tenants were moving in and it's too late to do anything. We ended up doing our own painting and cleaning and basically getting taken for $3,000 by Dwight Woods. We asked for $500 refund and he ignored us the tried to show up at the property 2 weeks after the tenants were moved in to clean and complete repairs...NOT!!! This company is not who you need because the quality, integrity, and value are less than acceptable.

I tried to trouble shoot on my on but to no avail. I called on Saturday AM @ 7:15 left a message and my call was returned by 9 AM. The gentlemen asked a few questions about what was going on but specifically if I could wait until Monday. Begrudgingly I agreed and the gentleman said someone would be there on Monday AM between 9-12. Needless to say I survived the weekend, thankfully my children were away. First thing Monday AM at 8:33 I received a call stating that the contractors were about 20 minutes away. They arrived right before 9AM as promised & got right to work. I didn't catch the primary gentlemen's name but he did tell me he was the son of the owner. He was so engaging and informative explained possible issues and once it was diagnosed got the heater fixed. They were here a little under 2 hours. He was honest enough to explain that I shouldn't waste anymore $$$ repairing this heater by explaining the life span and what my next steps would be. I'm totally satisfied and would highly recommend.

I know how to restart it but it wasn't working, they pointed out that dust buildup was preventing it and fixed it in no time. They didn't charge me for this quick fix! Second time, my frost free hose broke because I ignorantly did not disconnect it in the winter. They fixed it at a great price and explained why you need to do this in detail, I really appreciate that. I can't recommend these guys enough.
