I felt like Dave took his time with me and explained the pros and cons and there wasn't any high pressure sales, like I've experienced from some other heating and air conditioning companies. He gave us a couple options (good, better, best) and fair prices. We selected a Lennox system and Dave and his team worked to remove the old system and install the new system quickly and efficiently. We had a very positive experience and I will recommend Dave and the team at Aire-Pure to my neighbors.

RJE Review I can't…read moresay enough about my experience with RJE. I sustained some storm damage back in June 2020 when a tree fell in my backyard pulling down the power lines. The power lines pulled the siding off of the back of my house and caused damage to the roof and interior wall(s). The fallen tree also caused damage to my shed, gate and a chainlink fence. I chose RJE Home Remodelong over another company mainly due to proximity as I had no previous knowledge of them. l feel like I definitely made the right choice under the circumstances. I sat down with Anthony(Estimator) and Chris(Project Manager) after having some initial conversations with Christin(Office Manager). Anthony oversaw the estimates and was very thorough. Surveying my entire house, inside and out from rooftop to the ground. I had some initial delays because of some insurance company red tape but once work started it was smooth sailing. The scope of work was determined, timeline established then the job was executed starting with a new roof. Chris oversaw the actual work. He had great communication, always kept me updated, made great recommendations and everyone always showed up on time and their respective jobs were done with a high degree of skill and in a timely manner. Total job(new roof, new siding, 2 tree removals, paint interior walls and replace chainlink fence) took about a month to complete and I was very happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend RJE and actually have. Great communication, great service, good people and quality work.

Jeff had great instincts for his craft and upon completion of the job I knew him and the guy he worked with really knew what they were doing. I told them I would get any tile and plaster work taken care of when they were done and to remove or make holes in walls, ceiling and floor wherever they needed too. I expected the kitchen to be pretty torn up. They didn't leave me a lot of work to do. Excellent job! Price was good, the workmanship was amazing. Minimally invasive when getting everything in the walls and ceiling, everything done in 1 day. They're the only people that will work on my house regarding electric for now on.

I got a number of bids to have my new home's chimneys re-crowned as well as having a new cap installed on one of them. What ended up making me choose to have SHCS complete this work for me was how quickly my quote request was returned, the honesty in Bob's answers to all my questions. I contacted Bob in late December and he explained the work couldn't be done till spring but that he'd take a look at my chimneys and get me a quote, which he did immediately. When I agreed to have him do the work he scheduled me for spring and as soon as it was warm enough I got a call to schedule the work. He explained the weather looked clear for the coming Tuesday which worked well for us so I agreed. He than showed up on Friday the week before and completed the work because the weather was nicer than expected. Who can complain about quicker service?!?!? All that said, the thing that really pushed me to a 5 star review the most was the emails I got immediately following the work as well as a call confirming the work was completed. But the email really did it for me, it included my work order and before and after photos of the work. That is one of those little things that makes a huge difference to me and honestly Bob was already pretty set for 5 stars before the email. Finally no more leaky chimney that the previous owners neglected. TL;DR - fantastic service, ideal pricing and before and after photos emailed as promptly as possible.

He responded within a day or so to my MANY emailed questions. He gave me a tentative start date and contacted me when that changed. Once the project started, he was here promptly every morning until the kitchen was completed. I was most concerned about the installation of a glass subway tile back splash, (because I had a bad experience with a different company installing tile in my bathroom) but he did an amazing job. Other aspects of the renovation included a laminate floor and installation of new sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. He added new baseboards, and casing around two doorways, and painted the portion of the room that wasn't tiled. When I requested a change - I felt the doorway needed a wider casing - he promptly got the new material and installed. He also installed two new light fixtures. The kitchen was cleaned up each night before they left. I would definitely use this company again.

We noticed that our refrigerator had stopped working as well as our garage door. We looked on Yelp and Immediately saw SG was rated highly and contacted him. Steve was in the city and said he would stop by in about an hour or so. We were surprised that he would be able to get to us today as we contacted him around 3pm. But true to his word he arrived at our home around 4pm. While we thought the solution was going to be to replace a GFCI outlet, it was not and Steve methodically troubleshot and resolved the problem. It turned out to be an outdoor outlet on the GFCI circuit. Both of our outdoor outlets were old and the covers were not adequate. He replaced both of our outdoor outlets with far superior outlets with rugged covers. Steve is an extremely competent electrician as well as a genuinely nice person. And the bottom line was that the cost for all of this was just a little more than his original estimate for replacing the GFCI Outlet. If you are in need of an electrician , give SG a chance, I think you'll be glad you did.

When I decided to air condition my home with the same mini-split systems, I took my neighbor's advice and called them. I spoke with Deon, one of the brothers who runs the business. He came to see my house within a few days, sent me a quote that same day, and I had them install four indoor units and two outside compressors in my row home. Throughout the process they were wonderful. They were honest, always on time, and worked from early until late each day to do as much as they could. I've rarely seen contractors who show up at 9am and are still working hard at 7pm. Truly amazing. They gave me an accurate and complete quote, their price was very competitive, they knew how long their work would take (my job was 4 full days of install), and they were responsive to requests and questions at any time - before, during, and after the installation. I'm really glad I decided to have them do my air conditioning installation. And I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs to retrofit an older row house with air conditioning. They know their stuff. It's challenging to find great contractors these days. So when I find someone who's really good, I want other people to know about them. And you'll thank me if you decide to use Cape Air!

I had two bathrooms gutted and redone 5 months after purchasing my home in April 2016 due to leaks…read more It was better to redo everything and not have to worry anymore. WRONG! 4 1/2 year later and the master bath is still leaking. They tore out everything down to the studs and did all of the plumbing etc. They said I would be first person that he was installing a corner rounded shower for. The master shower started leaking right away. Their "fix" was to goop all of this silicone which one, looked horrible and two didn't even fix the issue. They closed the living room ceiling after supposedly fixing the problem. My living room ceiling has been reopened time and time again. I had a family plumber come out multiple times because they are trying to fix what he did without ripping out the entire shower. They are having hard time and will be cutting wall out. The botton shower base is not level which is part of the problem. Can't fix that without tearing out and redoing the entire shower. They bought a cheap low tub for the hall bath and when I asked about it, they said it was the same size that I had. No it was not. They did not add anymore support when installing the tub and when you stand in it, it creeks because it moves. The old tub didn't creek. The hall bath has a sound in the wall that sounds like dripping. It is because they used flex hoses and did not secure them so they bang for a bit after running the tub/ shower. They put their wet saw in my hallway and did not protect anything. When they left, I found that my walls had gotten wet and the paint started bubbling. Again, he said he would fix it. Greg came and just started brushing paint over it without fixing or smoothing it out. Had to hire a painter to come fix. They do not ask the owner their opinion or preference and put things where they like them. They moved an outlet from the right side to the left which is a pain because we are all right handed. Not a big deal but just one more little thing that is annoying. I called to ask questions about the master bath and asked Greg to come back and look. He said he was too busy and to hire someone to fix it and he would pay for it "if it was something he did". REALLY, you did it all. I would never recommend this father son team. They rush and throw things together and make no time to make it right.
