Wow, Wow, Wow... where do I even begin?…read more I set out to find the best milliner in Southern California to create a few show-stopping hats for the 152nd Run for the Roses (Kentucky Derby) and the Kentucky Oaks, and I can proudly say I found the very best. Amy Ward of awardmillinerydesign.com welcomed us into her creative studio, where she took the time to walk my wife through various designs and truly listened to her vision and preferences. From there, Amy got to work, and what she created was nothing short of breathtaking. In just about three weeks, she handcrafted three stunning hats that will absolutely dazzle at Churchill Downs this May. The entire experience was phenomenal. Amy is incredibly talented, patient, and passionate about her craft. She did not just design hats, she educated my wife on the art of millinery and made the entire process memorable and meaningful. It is no surprise to learn that Amy has designed custom pieces for celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin, and has been featured in a double-page spread in Churchill Downs Magazine. If you are looking for high-quality, custom-made hats, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to connect with Amy Ward, Official Milliner for the Kentucky Derby, right here in the Los Angeles area.
