Normally this is a 4.5 star facility, but in 2020 it has a few challenges. I've been going to a…read morephysician here for about 6 years. I like that's it's close to work and home, my doctor is great, and the lab on-site makes it easy to get an annual physical with blood work done in one visit. My insurance requires some weird paperwork and this office has been really accommodating to get me the documentation I need. And I've always been able to get in for an emergency appointment when needed. The biggest downside during normal times: While they will take you back to get weighed and put you in an exam room really fast, I always end up waiting a long time in the exam room. There are more cons now during COVID, most notable being that the lab is not open. When I went for my annual physical three different people tried to take my blood and couldn't get a vein. I had to go to a separate, much busier Mercy facility the following day which was absolutely not my first choice in the middle of a pandemic. I really don't get the logic here--why close the lab? You're making patients expose themselves more by not having this service on site anymore. Also, the woman who checked me in was not wearing a mask. She was behind plexiglass, but there are holes in it for paperwork and the temperature check, and also, just, really? Not something I anticipated facing walking into a healthcare facility.

I have been to my primary doctor a orthopedic doctor and now waiting on my insurance to ok me to have therapy. I have been taking over the counter medicine this whole time and it only helps a little. Just to get some relief while this is going on.

The adult group is made up of four male physicians, a male physician assistant and a female nurse practitioner. I am female and and saw one of the male physicians for a new health issue (I saw him a total of two times). I do feel he proceeded with the appropriate tests, etc. The problem is with lack. One of test results was alarming and I had basic questions. My physician was off that day, which was fine, so I asked the clinical staff to have the on-call physician return my call of which he did not. I found out later, my personal physician called the staff and asked THEM what my questions were and that he would follow up with me via MyChart. He did follow up via MyChart answering one of five questions. I asked via MyChart (that is their preferred method of communication - no one every calls you) to be transferred to another physician. within the practice for care. I was instructed (via MyChart) the transferring physician denied my request for transfer. Clearly I made the physicians angry and the physicians took my request personally.

I was there two weeks ago. First off the drug screen they have you take you fill a cup up and also…read morea vile that has to be full of there is not enough urine they will not test it at all they dump it in front you and then you try again. While I was sitting in the lobby my daughter came and gave me a phone charger the nurse that was assisting me came running down the hall into the waiting room yelling she just gave you something what do you have I had my phone in my hand clearly I showed it to her my daughter simply switched out phones with me mine was dying. The other guest in the waiting room was just like wow I was embarrassed but I continued to sit there and drink more water I needed the urine screen completed for my employer. In that time of me drinking water and getting ready for another test that nurse called my employer to let them know someone brought me "something". I showed her the phone I told her it was my daughter but she did not repeat any of that. I let them know I'm ready to take another screen she has this huge smile and says I called your employer and they gave permission for me to monitor you while you take your screen which was fine I had figured they would do that in the first place. But what happens next I am still traumatized by we go into the bathroom she tells me I have to lift up my shirt and my bra and make sure I don't have anything next she tells me to pull down my pants and I do I pull down my panties and go to sit down on the toilet she tells me no to stand up and to turn in a circle my pants and panties still at my ankles i turn in a circle but i did it to fast do she tells me i have to do it again and tells me to stop and stand still has my backside is now to her i wanted to cry i did what she ask though as i go to finally sit on the toilet she says i have to see the urine come out of you i had to spread my legs while she knelt down and looked in between my legs seeing the urine come out of me. i fill the cup up but once again the vile was a little short from the top i beg her to test all of that she says no dumps it and says and you have been here three hours time is up. she sent the report to my employer stating someone dropped off something she didn't mention it was my daughter and she brought me a cell phone. she didn't mention going in with me and me pulling up my shirt and bra or pulling my pants and panties to my ankles and literally watched the urine come out of me. she didn't mention i had almost enough but she poured it out. i would not wish this experience on my worst enemy the only thing she didn't do was have me squat and cough. i pray no one has to go through this i am still in shock and traumatized.

They took a few minutes to verify my information and check me in as a new patient and then they cancelled my appointment since it was 8:11am and it was too late.
