If you've ever found yourself in a tight spot (or with tight filters), look no further than WHAT…read morePlumbing. I was practically at my wits' end, wrestling with three over-tightened whole house water filters that just would not move. I had tried every remedy and YouTube tutorial under the sun. And after I had wasted enough money on filter wrenches, straps, and other Amazon best sellers, I decided to swallow my pride and bring in the professionals. Enter the dynamic duo from WHAT Plumbing. They were friendly, professional, and they arrived within an hour of my call. You know that old saying, "It's a two-man job?" Well, this was definitely the case. These guys weren't just swift, but they put in some serious elbow grease, spending ample time to carefully crank off our stubborn filters -- with the precision of a surgeon and the strength of the Incredible Hulk. I'll also admit, there was a part of me secretly relieved that it wasn't a total walk in the park for these guys either--affirming that I didn't simply forget to turn off a valve or switch somewhere along the DIY route. Now, I'll mention cost. In a world where you often pay a premium for urgency, WHAT Plumbing was incredibly fair. Considering the amount of extra effort they had to go through, I'd say more than reasonable. So, will I be calling them again? Absolutely. For their timeliness, efficiency, and for not making me feel like a moron who can't break loose his own filters -- WHAT Plumbing has earned a customer for life. If you find yourself up against a serious plumbing challenge, do yourself a favor and call these guys before going down the Amazon best sellers list. You won't regret it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some return shipping labels to go print.

We called Parker and Sons initially and they tried to rip us off so I went on Yelp and requested a few quotes. What Plumbing responded quickly and was professional but they were not really forthcoming with a quote. The water heater broke on the Saturday before Memorial Day and What Plumbing said they couldn't come out to my house until Monday to give a quote. Over text, they provided a general range but didn't give any details as far as what brand of water heater would be installed. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a crappy brand or that they weren't just going to go to Home Depot and pick one up. Plus, if we waited until Monday and we didn't like their quote, it would have only delayed the process. We wound up going with a different company.

They came out on an emergency call as the water was leaking. They were here promptly and the emergency fee was more than fair. Tyler could not have been nicer and very professional. This was my first experience with Phend Plumbing and I will absolutely continue using their service when needed. Top rating in every regard.

I paid the labor and parts part of this installation which included them exchanging the unit to Home Depot, new lines and drip pan. The labor price was comparable to any others who offered the installation only part. The installer, Jordan ( I hope I got his name right) was amazing and incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He also answered extra questions I had about another water related issue. If I have a need for plumbing service, this locally owned and operated company will be the first people I call. Also noted, I was able to get a quote, exchange, and install in one day, which was the first day I started. Thank you, Phend for your professional service with a smile. Easy five star rating.

Never ever use this crooked company! I initially decided in Dukes of Air in May 2016 after our…read morecondo air unit bit the dust during a hot memorial weekend and the only online venue back then that was avail was Yelp- no Nextdoor, no Reddit... even though this company was bought out- I'm sure several of the original techs still are there doing the same crappy work-- see photos! I had them come out YEAR after YEAR and each time the tech would complain about what the last did. Aside from making a disgusting mess with all of the black tar over my closet room, the front and back concrete patio- they did a Jerry Rig Each and every time! And they stripped the screws and bolts badly. This hvac co. came out for biannual maintenance check -- which obviously doesn't include removal and cleaning of blower wheel and housing, nor does it include cleaning out the water outflow drainage tube that collects foliage debris; which then cause water backup prompting another service call. Btw. I promptly dumped the monthly service fee to get two "system checks" a year because it seems like once they find something- it's due to the last years of other techs doing absolutely nothing! They're all young and lazy looking to make a quick buck and likely forced by the corporate man to sell sell service repair upsell!! I'm not looking over their shoulder step by step and asking what are you doing, what does this mean? But I will for sure moving forward!! I keep my air at 77 and not lower, so there's not a huge stress. They noted a slow leak last February and suggested a leak test. I didn't do it at the time since he said it was slow. Two guys come out, in their separate top of the line Mercedes vehicles, and tell me I need my coil replaced; which is covered under warranty and scared me into schedule replacement for refrigeration leak and coil replacement along with the blower wheel cleaned, because, as the tech said look at what your breathing in (photo). No I am not - that's why there's a filter used inside, but still-well my bi yearly maintenance should include that cleaning!! And why wasn't this brought to my attention in the previous years??!Lazy arses. Since the coil is covered under warranty I was quoted 4 hours labor, coils replacement and fan cleaned and refrigerant at $$$2400!! The next company I used --Larson, a certified Trane dealer- said No leak!! Don't use them either, a grand less as they said no coil leak! But $1550 for refrigerant you can get on FB for free mixed with the new stuff at $15 a lbs and you mark up it up! I'm telling you these dumb techs don't know squat. Then how the heck did refrigerant leak in an enclosed system?? Hey Dukes if Air-/IF the coil is covered under warranty then why am I being charged for it?? This is with my gold member discount since they have serviced my unit exclusively since day one. If it is a slow leak why would the coil need to be replaced? The guy last Feb said it could wait until next year, but the guys today said that it could cause my compressor to blow! Yet my neighbors have their original unit from 30 yrs ago still working?? And-- it was very obvious that they both had to return to the vehicle to come up with a price each time. It was obvious one lead sales guy was teaching a newer guy how to reel the money in for repairs to be done as a quick fix for a couple grand-NOT getting to the root cause. 1) Bad recommendation to use Trane 2) Crap duct work done from day one 3) Crooked, Dumb or Lazy techs thereafter Lastly, the 5 stars are from friends and family members of the hvac techs and owners- it's ALL BS!! And use ai to do your homework and get at least 7 quotes! Find an individual or small business and let these big companies rip off Richie poos!
