    2013 Chevy Camaro
    Karina R.

All the guys at Canyon auto were great and incredibly friendly and helpful but I worked with Vic especially. They clearly care about their quality of business. I was looking at a 2013 camaro and it had some windshield damage which they reassured me would be fixed at no expense to me (they also fixed some upholstery on the drivers seat). They also found out the day I purchased that 2 tires were shot and they got them replaced before I took the car home cause they didn't want to let me drive off the lot like that. They also held the vehicle for me. I could put down $500 to hold it like they originally offered so they let me settle at $100 which is likely the only reason I was able to get the car. The camaro is in great condition and was amazingly priced. They truly care about the products they sell and the people they sell them to. I'll definitely be coming and recommending people here in the future. They helped me get my dream car! Thank you to Vic and all the guys at Canyon auto sales.

When i spoke with Rocky he said to go through the warranty. The warranty explained they do not cover the front end either being not aligned properly or not being aligned at all when it was suppose to be aligned when the rack and pinion was changed. I explained this to Kim(the office lady) after talking with the warranty company and she said she understood why they wouldnt cover something like this. A few times i was told someone would call me back about this, no one called. At the time i started calling all that i could notice to the eye/ear was that the steering wheel was crooked, the original clunking noise was back and the front wheels were pigeon toed(pointing inward) due to this it started to wear a balled section along the outer edge of the front tires. Because i am not a car mechanic, i looked over the 5 year maintenance plan i was given when purchasing the vehicle. Firestone complete auto care is a participant in this program. After seeing this i have brought my car to the local firestone complete auto care place here local to me. They have diagnosed what is going on with the front end of the car. Per Firestone complete auto cares inspection: the car was given back to me with the front end is so far out of alignment that it is twisting the other mechanical parts of the front suspension and steering. Due to this it has damaged the front tires, suspension, control arms and sway bar bushings. This is all explained in the documentation that they provided and i have attached below. To recap, i had originally brought the vehicle back due to a clunking noise coming from the front end. The inhouse mechanic said it was the top of the front suspension and mentioned the rack and pinion was bad as well. The 2nd time the vehicle was brought back was to replace the rack and pinion. Our appointment was for 930 or 10 a.m., it was explained we had to wait in town for the vehicle to be done, at 1 pm i stopped back in and asked the mechanic if he was done, he stated he hadnt even started on my vehicle yet. Per your mechanic he stated he needed 2 hours to complete the repair, and 1.5 hours to bring the vehicle to have it aligned and return with the vehicle. 1.5 hours after he started to work on my vehicle i was called and told it was done and i could come pick it up. I have reached out once a week to confirm if the alignment was done. Last week or the week before i was able to speak to and ask Rocky if the alignment was done, Rocky stated that the mechanic there stated yes the alignment was done. This vehicle is not safe to drive now at this time. I do a lot of driving for work, i have had to park this car while i have been waiting to here back. This is a direct result of the mechanic either not doing the alignment, or whom he brought it to did a terrible alignment job which in turn has damaged/ruined the main steering/driving components of the vehicle. I do not recommend this USED car dealer.

The exact second a problem arises, the mask falls off. My car broke down on day 21 with a completely ruined AC loop that clearly should've been inspected before selling a vehicle off lot. I held up 100% of my end of the bargain and spent over $700 out of pocket to bring brand-new parts to their shop after the manager, HD, explicitly promised in writing that they would cover the labor. Once the parts arrived, HD the 'manager' turned into a petty, unprofessional nightmare. He tried to cut corners to basically ruin the new parts by doing a half job ,moved the goalposts of what his mechanic was actually willing to do and what they'd pay for knowing any real reputable dealership would take care of their paying customer, and then demanded a $200 ransom for labor that already in writing promised for free. When I caught him dead-to-rights lying about the parts with a photo of them literally sitting on his desk. As well as trying to scam me for used parts claiming his mechanic's diagnostic was only for one piece of the set. The price he was charging me, I purchased a brand new whole set for. He threw an immature high school tantrum because he couldn't handle being called shady. He has repeatedly argued with me over the phone, issuing multiple threats, and throwing a temper tantrum when held accountable to his own text messages. I even reached out to the owner of the whole business Seyed Hosseini he had absolutely no care or remorse or recourse for the situation. Absolute garbage human beings running a predatory lot. Avoid them at all costs I didn't read the reviews before going and Let me be a warning for you all DO NOT SHOP THERE.

Her 'check engine' indicator icon was lit on the dash panel of her 2010 Prius of 173,000 miles. The service technician told her that the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve was malfunctioning. She asked whether that was a problem and was scared into believing that the issue "might prevent the engine from operating optimally" and that her "gas mileage might suffer". Both statements were true, but definitely not critical nor dangerous to the vehicle's operational safety. She wasn't told that it was for the smog control system on the car. She was charged almost $850 to replace the EGR Valve! A search online locally shows that this type of repair on her car should be between $484 and $832. Naturally, Toyota is right up at the highest price point. EGR Valves can be serviced and cleaned to extend their life, but this was not offered as a less costly alternative, as Toyota "recommends replacement". Of course they do. More dollars given to the Service Department. 100 miles later, the 'check engine' indicator light reappeared. I took the car in to find out why and was told that a sensor that monitors the EGR Valve had (coincidentally) stopped working. This repair would cost another $645!! I told them they had gotten their last money from my wife and I and that I would be taking her Prius somewhere - - that is, anywhere else in the future. Toyota is a company that has the most expensive repair parts and charges exorbitant rates for their labor hours.
