It took many weeks to get any kind of answers or motion. That should have been my first clue. I became ill, so I excused the delay. Josh reassured me that my business loan would go through, So I sent the $400 fee. I began to realize that nothing was happening, with constant excuses of being in meetings, or out of the office. This is when I demanded that something be done with the loan process to move forward. Joshua called me shortly after to complain to me that he did not feel comfortable doing business with me, because my demand was stressing him out. He offered me a refund. He then went on to tell me about his personal problems, that he cannot handle any more stress. This was by far one of the most unprofessional conversations I've had in this situation. I was inquiring about…read morebusiness capital and this company said they approved me for $50,000 after sending them 3 months statements and everything else they asked for. Sent documents to sign thru docusign and all seemed very legit. Sent a loan proposal for $50,000 line of credit 5.85% with monthly payments of $987 with "immediate disbursement of $14500" and other $35,500 would be able to be withdrawn from "the portal" after 5 days all of which is acceptable. Signed initial offer stating all is ok. I am told to send copy of license and voided check "for funding" I send it. Next day am asked to link my bank account, I did(this is normal like with kabbage or prosper) I am called and told the final documents will be emailed to sign and give a $495 closing fee which will be refunded on funds disbursement. I even do this, but now I am starting to get nervous that this is too good to be true and I just got scammed out of $495. Then "the underwriter" calls and says final loan docs are going to be texted to me and this is normal. I get a text thru clixsign of docs to initial and sign... I start reading the fine print and details, they have referred me out to Bitty Advance a predatory business lender with rates of 90 to 330% who is going to fund me $14500 ($13206 after "fees") and take $230 A DAY from my account until $21000 is paid back!!! I call guy immediately and ask "am I getting $14500 to be repaid at $230 a day or $50,000 At $987 a month. I am assured I just dont understand and "thats the max I would pay if I defaulted" but Im not paying $230 a day. I start to sign again then have a bad feeling. Take an hour and read EVERY LINE and look up Bitty Advance and sure enough they only need "a voided check and a picture of drivers license" to qualify you for "up to $15000 MAX LOAN. GEE I JUST SENT THEM THAT YESTERDAY "FOR FUNDING" I tell him I wont sign anymore papers until I see the loan docs state $50,000 at 5.85% at $987 a month as promised. I get a reply of "only if you send 3 years tax returns, are a 720+fico score and have collateral..... OH SO THATS THE EXCUSE YOU WERE GOING TO USE WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR THE OTHER $36,500 and I was ALREADY LOCKED INTO REPAYING $230 a day to the "lender" you pimped my info to for a fee.... I disputed the $495 thru paypal and my bank and thank god it was thru paypal because I was refunded immediately. Sorry so long I wanted ALL DETAILS SO YOU DONT GET SCAMMED. THIS COULD RUIN PEOPLE ESPECIALLY DURING COVID. SHAME ON THEM!!
