I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Himalayan Wellness Spa in Ormond Beach, Florida. Their advertised Groupon deal turned out to be a scam. After purchasing the Groupon voucher, I tried to schedule an appointment, but the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The so-called owner insisted that I pay them directly instead of using the Groupon, claiming that they don't make any money from Groupon deals. Not only did they refuse to honor the voucher, but they also ignored my attempts to contact them. Their deceptive tactics and lack of integrity left me feeling scammed and frustrated. I would strongly advise against giving this establishment any of your time or money.

OK ladies, this review is for you.*(Men, scroll by unless you are giving your lady this gift)…read moreOK, let's start over. This is the best place around. I first found them with Groupon and they had an amazing deal. I only bought the one (good thing) because I was sooo embarrassed to go. I paid for a compete Brazilian. I kept changing my appointment. But, the groupon expires after a year. Mama Bare's deal was a whole year. A whole year mind you. Well, of course it was over for me. So, what do I do? They had a 3 deal for $115. Mind you 1 time is $65. NOW, I go every 4 weeks. The ladies are AMAZING I have Jelisa. (See her beautiful picture below.) She is so gentle with you. Yes, the other ladies are great but, Everyone always prefers the one they start with. I did say the prices are amazing didn't I? Of course, I didn't put up a picture of their prices but, you can look on line or call and they will tell you the special deals they have. They are usually on Groupon with such great deals. My husband also bought me one for Christmas. I made him buy it (hehe) so, Look on Groupon, call or go on line. You DON'T have to install the app. You can to Google, look up Groupon and you can get the deals. Great ones if you're just visiting. BUT, It would be really worth installing the Groupon app. You will be very happy with the deals. Don't forget, you are at the beach, so get your tan on and you will look fabulous with your bathing suit on thanks to Mama Bare's I didn't mention I go to the Ormond Beach facility. Right off S.Nova rd

When I returned recently for the exact same service, they charged me $80-- a 100% increase from the original price. When I questioned it, I was told the new price starts at $55 and still insisted I pay $80. The owner refused to come out and speak with me, instead sending the receptionist. To make it worse, they even threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the full amount. That's not how you treat paying customers. Some people have no business owning a salon if they can't deal with customers the right way--with honesty, professionalism, and respect. If prices have increased, they should clearly inform clients before the service is done and confirm if that's acceptable--instead of trying to trick people into paying more and using intimidation tactics. I've had blowouts all over the U.S., and I've never experienced anything like this. It was completely unacceptable. I will never return. If you value fair pricing and decent customer service, stay far away from this place.
