It was fairly quiet with only a few others eating and while we ate several take-out orders came in and left. That says something good. We had lunch specials, fried almond chicken and Kung Pao chicken. Both were good, but not over the top and that's why 4 stars. Tea was the same. Portions were ample and we both took home leftovers. We visited The Dalls for a concert (The Derina Harvey Band) and found the Canton Wok for lunch. We enjoyed our meal, especially the Hot and Sour Soup and the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef had a great sear on the meat and onions indicating a nice hot wok. The lemon chicken was good with a solid lemon flavor and not too sweet. The chicken was lightly breaded. The soup had the right balance of hot and sour, often I find that hot and sour soup leans one way or another. This will be a regular stop for us when heading to Portland (from Boise) read more

We stopped in town on our way to the Oregon Coast, and decided to do Chinese in order to feed our fairly large group. We could not believe how much food there was when we picked up the order. We didn't realize the portions were so large, and even with a group of 16 we still had a ton of leftovers. The service was super quick as well. They had the order ready within 20 minutes of our call, even with such a huge order. Definitely a good place to stop if you are hungry! If I could give this place a 0 I would. We are here tonight. Let's starts with service. It was horrible. The lady had attitude from the moment we walked in. If we weren't with friends from out of town my husband and I would of walked out. She never refilled our waters, sodas and teas. When food was brought out at way different times she didn't check on us to make sure we had everything. 2 of us didn't get our rice and had to wave down one of the owners. There was 7 of us and none of us enjoyed our food. It tasted old and drowned with soy sauce. Even the pan fried noodles my son thought tasted gross and couldn't eat. The meat from the chicken teriyaki smelled foul. The icing on the cake was the owner and waitress started clearing our table when we had our food in front of us and some of us were eating what tasted ok. I used to travel for work for 4 years. Countless restaurants with no real flavor and taste. It all seems to be processed and just junky overall. I love Chinese food, it's nostalgic to me. Growing up I ate a lot of it with friends and those memories tend to remain floating in my head. Memories that make you smile! So when I find a local place that can bring that back, it deserves some stars. The food is wonderful and always tastes exactly how I want it to! It's made very fast, im always there 15 mins or less, but that's not always a good thing. The last time I was in there ( which was my first time I ever entered to be fair, ) it was dead empty bedsides one man. The woman who took my order was incredibly sweet and you could just tell from the exhaustion in her voice how tirelessly she probably works around a schedule making sure her business stays afloat. My favorite spicy dish is the 3 Dancing Star, but be ready for everyone to ask you what your having. The worst Chinese food ever! Everything our party ordered was horrible. Lacked flavor totally and very unappetizing to look at. We had the same white chicken pieces in every menu item we ordered. Obviously they have a big container of unseasoned chicken breast that they throw into the various dishes ordered. I have never seen such unappetizing looking chicken. Also, the mongolian beef for example had virtually no sauce, no flavor. the Mar Far chicken was dried out and appeared to be old. The BBQ port was very dry and actually kind of crumbled. We were hungry after a day of exploring the area. Found this place here on yelp and decided to call in an order. We got the orange chicken, pork Lo Mein, and egg rolls. Pros: huge portions, our order must have weighed five pounds. Cons: It wasn't what I am used to, the Lo Mein was a little dry and there wasn't much pork. The pork was really dry. The orange chicken was good but tasted a little bit like buffalo wings, but I love buffalo wings. The egg rolls had a different spice than I am used too but they were good. We are from out of town, and the pandemic closed everything else down. The food was underwhelming at best, weird tasting egg rolls coated in thick crusts, and slimy pork chow mein consisting of mainly bean sprouts, and tiny granular bits of meat. The egg flower soup was barely edible, and the sweet sour pork were gooey clumps of thick breading. I hate wasting food but we threw most out. I told the hotel clerk about our experience, and she added that they used to best but the original owner sold the place to move to another location and apparently, this is what you get.
