This was a really good Peruvian Asian fusion restaurant located in Rio. The food was super flavorful and you received good portions of it. Tried a few dishes with beef and pork, as well as the egg rolls and fried rice. The fried rice was amazing!! The staff was also amazing and super friendly! Didn't have reservations, but was able to sit at the bar until the table was ready...only about 15 mins. Inside, it was decorated with an Asian inspired theme and had umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. It was a really intimate place, perfect for a great meal! Eye-catching from the street, this place was next door to a place my new friends and I were recommended to eat, but the wait at the other restaurant was long and we were hungry. I was surprised to see a Chinese/Peruvian restaurant in a touristy area very close to Copacabana Palace. The interior looked really fun and definitely drew me in to wanting to dine there or at least grab a drink. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to open up for the three of us. We ended up asking if we could sit at the bar to grab a drink while we waited. The wait was not long - I didn't have a chance to order my drink at the bar cause I had went to use their one restroom first to wash up. The restroom is pretty big, but they only had 1. When I came back, they had already moved to a table. I was set on either having ceviche or lomo saltado, but that was before I had viewed their menu. Much to my surprise, I found out that they didn't serve lomo saltado at all so I opted for only ceviche and a drink. The ceviche was really good - it filled my satisfaction as did the drink I had so much that I ordered two rounds of it (I forgot if I had a caipirinha or the Brasil sour? I don't recall there being egg white at all, but I could have sworn I had a lychee caipirinha but it came with a decorative slice of lime). What my friends ordered: - Sechuan Beef w/ a side of arroz (really good) - Wontons Fritos - Wings Ao BBQ Chinês w/ side of spicy potato chips I loved the atmosphere and the decor - the place was pretty packed. Had a wonderful meal here in their beautifully decorated restaurant. We got in about 8:30 and within 10 minutes people were waiting for a table. We started with a bottle of red wine and spring rolls. The rolls were fried perfectly and came with a tasty tamarind sauce. My wife ordered beef lo mien and I ordered Szechuan beef. My dish came with filet mignon as the beef and fries which is a little different. It was very good with the rice that came with my order and the vegetables in a nice sauce. My wife loved her dish. We ordered a dessert of chocolate cake with ice cream. Nice way to finish the meal. Our waiter was great. read more

Just to be clear, this is not an authentic Cantonese restaurant, rather it is a Peruvian- - Chinese restaurant. The influx of Chinese immigrants in Peru produced a delightful fusion of cuisines which I believe is called Chifa cuisine. My son and I approached it with an open mind, ordered a dumpling appetizer, a seafood stir fry and char sui main dishes. It was definitely different from the regular Chinese preparations we were used to but very good in its own way. Service was attentive, the decor playful and attractive. Great Peruvian Chinese fusion restaurant in Rio. The service is a bit slow but that seems to be common in the area as everyone seems to be more laid back. There are a wide variety of options to choose from and the serving sizes are filling. I would highly recommend the sui mai. It's decorated nicely and creates a nice intimate feel. read more
