    Fish Fry

Our fav neighborhood bar because of the amazing staff and management. Will never say a bad thing about how well they take care of us and make us feel right at home. Fish fry and Italian sausage sandwich were ok but portion wise things were definitely smaller / lacking than what we were used to. The entire sausage sandwich had one small sausage link split in half across a massive ciabatta bun so it was all bread and no meat. Fish was just a tiny piece with lots of batter and "fry" but the tartar sauce was to die for. Luckily we got French fries on the side (which are always amazing) and I got to dip those in the remaining tartar sauce because I'm not kidding you I could drink it (LOL). Will always come back no matter what!

Stopped by a few times over Christmas week and was pleased to see consistent quality in food and cocktails. Vibrant atmosphere with an excellent service team. Jess and her team always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Great vibe to this place. We only went here for a couple of rounds. My friend suggested that it's a good place to end the night, he was right. Drinks are reasonably priced, good friendly service. Only critique I have is that my drink was a bit on the sweeter side. But I had 2, so it wasn't that bad. See you there!

Came here on a Tuesday around 9:30PM. Similar to a previous review I saw, I felt a little unwelcome as it was our first time and clearly not a 'regular'. Unsure if we were to wait and be seated, or someone would greet us. After a few minutes, we decided to just sit down at one of the long pub tables. It took about 5 minutes for someone to come by with menus. We were given both food and drink menus, so we assumed the kitchen was still open. The server didn't come back for about 15 minutes, even though we had decided just a couple minutes after getting menus and tried to make eye contact. We ordered a couple drinks, and the steak tacos. The server then asked me to look at my phone and tell her what time it was. I felt a little uncomfortable as it was clearly a way to tell us we were ordering food too close to the kitchen closing. If the kitchen was open until 10PM and we were given food menus to begin with, why would we be met with such passive aggressiveness? She even said "I'll have to check if the cook is still willing to make food". She came back to let us know it was "fine". When we got the steak tacos, it was literally just steak and shredded cheese, despite the menu stating it had a couple other accompaniments. When I asked the server, she seemed a bit annoyed, so I said it was fine. She said "No no, I'll go see". She was clearly not knowledgeable as to what came on the tacos. She came back to say "it IS supposed to come with queso, but they ran out". I was a bit taken back, as why no one would say anything before/after ordering, or offer an alternate sauce. Luckily, she did offer to take the tacos off of our bill, but it was still disappointing as had we known the experience, we would have went elsewhere for food. The drink that I got (Pink Lotus) was good, and looked pretty, but after drinking most of it, I found a sharp piece of plastic floating in it. This was pretty concerning, but just wanting to close out and leave, I decided not to say anything. When closing out, the server dropped the check and thanked us, but didn't even make eye contact so it felt very insincere. The place has a great ambience, but the service and food/drink leaves a lot to be desired. I do not think based on this experience, I would return.

Food was all very good. Wine was good! A little pricey on the drinks but the atmosphere is really hip and fun so I guess you pay for the environment a little. Service was nice but slow at moment. Would recommend to a friend and plan to go back again sometime.

It's an energetic and fun restaurant with good food and drinks. We tried several drinks and my favorite was the espresso martini. As for the food, the focaccia and hot crock were delicious. The roasted squash gnocchi, meatballs with pappardelle, and scallops were all good. Our server was friendly and efficient, even though we couldn't always hear her over the noise of the crowded room.

Fantastic place! Got seated in a corner table by the front doors, so it was pretty drafty. It was super crowded, so the noise levels were quite loud which made conversation difficult. Had the Brussels sprouts along with the pommes frites which were delicious! Beer selection was also great. Highly recommend this place

    Any vegan options?

As far as the main ingredients go, you can have a few items made vegan. I’m not sure about the cooking process in the back. As far as I’m aware there aren’t any Vegan-specific menu items :)

It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

There's a secret entrance since it's a speakeasy, which is fun. Someone is always there to help guide you if you can't figure it out, haha. The lighting is low, and there are a lot of comfy spots to sit, which makes the environment feel very calm and cozy. We ended up all ordering a variety of espresso martinis. Mine was a crème brûlée one, which was divine, but they all sounded delicious! We also ordered the fig & pear pizza to share. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the flavors worked really well together! I'm hoping I can come here with my husband soon.

The larger the group, the cheaper your own total will be! Your Wine Cellar is hidden inside of Brew Kettle and Top Golf in Strongsville, nearby Walmart. Don't be fooled by the outdated Google Images of a place with its own sign - it no longer is labeled clearly. Meg was our host and director of our wine making adventure. She was great! We went through a dozen or so rounds of wine tastings to decide, as a group, what we will make. Each sample is $1 and I only tried a few, sticking mostly to the fruity ones. I liked the California Moscato the best of the whites. I only tried one red, the Diablo. The Diablo was the one we ended up making. The making process took about 10 minutes. We also were able to order food from the Brew Kettle. The food I ordered for lunch will be part of the review I wrote for Brew Kettle, which will be published soon after this one. Overall, I had a fun time with my friends, learning about what kinds of wines we like and don't like. In 8 weeks, we are coming back to bottle and label our wines! The entire process ended up being $20-25 a person.
