The café itself felt like an eclectic homey high-vibe retreat, with crystals, plants, and sunlight streaming through the windows, creating dappled patterns on the wooden tables. The best tables are window-side where you can watch the little river and the waterfall.
The menu, presented on recycled paper with hand-drawn sketches of the surrounding hills and rivers, revealed a symphony of flavours. I began my culinary journey with a sip of the "Green Goddess," a kaleidoscope of freshly pressed green veggie fruit juice that tasted as crisp as a morning hike in the Vermont woods.
For my main course, I couldn't resist the "Kale + Artichoke Dip," a whimsical concoction of Kale + Artichoke Dip covered with brazil nut parm, baked, & served with house-made raw flax crackers & veggies that seemed to capture the essence of the lush local farms. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the "Golden Goddess." It is a frozen/cold smoothie made with Vermont goodness and love in a blended up dream of Mango, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, vanilla, dates, ice, mylk.
