Do I recommend this place? Heck yes I do! We had ribs, burgers, mac n cheese, fries, veggies, so much food and it was all delicious. Staff was friendly and spoke great English. The ambiance had crazy neat decor all over the walls. Whenever I go on vacation I always stalk yelp to find food places to visit, and this place did not disappoint! This is a meat eaters paradise. Don't sleep on the ribs!

This is the second year in a row we have dined here with friends while in Amsterdam for a trade show at the RAI, it's rather small and the tables are close together but it's still comfortable and the food is great. Nice selection of food and drinks and the service staff are great.

My friend and I had the sweet potato fries and crispy cauliflower bites to start, both were nicely crispy. Then we had the plateau which included ribs, chicken, bacon, sausage and brisket with pickles and onions. The brisket and sausage were my favorite. Of course, it was too much meat for one meal.

"The L'Incroyable" (300gr), cooked to order - Medium, with chimchurri. Succulent fries and a nice strong Coca-Cola. Highly recommended!

Hello all! If you're in Amsterdam, and looking for a good place to get a really good steak, then I would recommend checking out Cannibale Royale! I was there for a week-long conference, and finding new places to eat became part of the everyday adventure. Having been walking around from session to session, and quite a few at different places across the city, I became seriously hungry. After freshening up back at my hotel, I checked my list of places to eat, and decided on Cannibale Royale. It was a 4 minute walk, and you won't see it from the main thoroughfare. I went in, and it immediately felt cozy and alive. I was waved over to the bar and asked if I had a reservation, which I didn't. All the other tables were full, so I sat at the bar and handed a menu. I wasn't aware that a reservation was needed. The menu has quite a few different cuts of steak, and the listing of starters/appetizers were nice. I highly recommend the chicken wings, I ordered the L'Incroyable, which is a rib-eye listed as having come from Argentina. I ordered it medium with fries that were so good. I give Cannibale Royale five stars. The food there was excellent! I do wish I had known to make a reservation though. However I have never known a bar to need a reservation. But hey, live and learn! Highly recommended!

Overall great experience here! Welcomed in with our a reservation right away, and waitress was quick, and made things easy for us. Tables are a little small but okay for the 3 of us, steak and lobster were cooked and seasoned to perfection, and beer and wine options were great! Very enjoyable atmosphere for a steakhouse, lively and quick!

Since we are foodies, we came here to try the bitterbal. It is a must try but not really our favorite on the trip. Instead we enjoyed the tartare. Prefect flavors. This place had a great vibe to start our evening out with apps and a few drinks.

Deeeeeeeeelish. I wasn't intending to go to a steakhouse while I was visiting Amsterdam, but a group of friends and I decided to pop in here and this was an amazing dinner and everyone left very satisfied and fulfilled with their different meat choices. The Tomahawk looked amazing, the short ribs were so soft and succulent. The drinks were great, and the service was equally as great. I will definitely be back

My friend and I decided to split a meal after the server told us at the pork ribs would be a large portion. We also had corn on the cob and sweet potato fries as sides. The ribs were unfortunately underwhelming, but the sweet potato fries were very good. The corn on the cob was good but too much butter for me. The waitress was friendly however she did not come back to ask us how our food was during the meal. I've noticed that seems to be a common theme in Amsterdam.

AMAZING food and vibes! Great music, ambiance, service, and food! The short ribs, steak, bitterballs, and cheesecake were out of this world!

After an evening strolling along the canals, checking out the red light district and spending a bit of time at a 'coffee shop', we went in here for some late night eats. The boys had burgers and I ordered a steak tartare. The food was not bad and the beer menu was stellar!

What an amazing first lunch in Amsterdam! We've been traveling throughout Europe for a couple of weeks and it was so refreshing to get a burger and nachos! Their drinks were very reasonably priced! Overall it was a very good meal, bathrooms smelled amazing and were so clean, and the vibe was super cute and fun! I believe their kitchen closes at 5PM before dinner!

Having been to the Cannibale Royale location on Lange Niezel, decided to plan a dinner for the Handboogstraat location as it was closer for my friends who had their hotel very nearby. Instead of my last visit, I actually made a reservation so we walked in pretty quickly. When I came here last year, I wasn't in a steak mood even though Cannibale Royale has a pretty impressive steak lineup. Well this time I knew I had no excuses and got the L'Incroyable (250g ribeye), which translates to a shade under 9 ounces. It was good, definitely enjoyed it. The meat quality was very good, which I was surprised by because you just can't be sure about meat quality outside of the U.S. Service is good, no complaints from me. Only quibble is that they jammed seven of us into a stable that would have comfortably seated five people at most, but it is Europe so what you can do. I would say Cannibale Royale closely approximates American-style food, with a Dutch twist on it. The steak was worth the wait!

It's just outside the hustle and bustle of Jordaan. The terrace is pretty cozy or airy depending on the season, they have heating lamps and local Dutch vibes - you can order something and they will leave you alone for as much time as you want until you wave them down again, so it's great to hang out and read a book. The charcuterie plate was pretty decent. Good first date spot, since it's right in that not-too-cheap not-too-expensive price point, you know what I mean . I'd say it's convenient, nothing so special that you'd go out of your way, but not bad either!

The menu is simple with sandwiches, two different salads, a soup of the day and some light snacks. They also have some Dutch beer on tap. I ordered a local IPA, fries and the goat cheese and prosciutto grilled sandwich. After chatting and downing our beers, which emptied before our food came, we ordered another round and started to wonder about our food orders, especially since all of us got sandwiches. It doesn't take that long to make. Our table was also next to the kitchen so we could see that the chef was on his phone, not cooking, which was confusing. We ended up asking another server about this and she went over to the kitchen to check on our order. Turns out - the order never came through in the computer system to the kitchen, so she had to tell him our orders so he could start making it. By the time we got our orders we were starving (since we were traveling all morning!). My grilled sandwich had lots of goat cheese, which was yummy, but wish it had more of the prosciutto. Nothing special about the sandwich, but at least it was sustenance. Same with the fries. I was hoping for some good, thick fries to go with the side of mayo, but they were thin. Overall, Brasserie Blazer is not the best option for lunch in the Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam, but it was convenient for us.
